This is a thread to help further expand the fluff of the homeworld of the Hua Yuan 1st Exterminator Regiment, an IG regiment that /tg/ randomly rolled up using the 1d4chan creation tables, specifically things that can be used to run games of Dark Heresy, Rouge Trader, and Black Crusade.

>Hua Yuan is an Earth-sized Hive world, on the Eastern Fringe of the galaxy. It boasts an atmosphere comprised mostly of Neon and Kaihonium, a valuable gaseous element useful for several industrial processes. One of several moons of a large Gas Giant, Hua Yuan is geologically dead, however despite this, the moon boasts rich deposits of several different elements, including adamantine.
>The atmosphere of the planet is extremely turbulent, with lighting storms giving the planet's entire surface an ominous glow as the skies are split by orange lightning, and make human habitation of the planet's surface all but impossible. As a result the majority of the planet's surface remains untouched by the hand of man, but in the depths of the equatorial canyon a sprawling hive reaches deep beneath the surface, marked only by the towering spires of the superstructure of a long-wrecked spacecraft.
We've taken this and fluffed the world as three parts Kowloon, two parts Hong Kong, and ten parts Cyberpunk Necromunda. Descendants the crew of a gigantic mining vessel that crashed on an inhospitable planet and survived despite it all. This has lead to a severe division between the upper hive nobility, the mid hive working class, and the low hive gangers and scum, and much worse.
So feel free to join in and provide fluff, images or whatever you'd like. This belongs to /tg/
IMPORTANT: We're fluffing a WH40k TTRPG splat. Don't oversaturate the influences but do update the wiki with old stuff

After convincing Prince Beelzebub to do his best to deliver a special "Christmas present" to his aunt should they ever uncover her lab, you manage to spend the rest of the day with your family. Your kids playing with their cousin, the Ox King chatting with Acer and Goku about some guy things. This is an issue I run into, and I still don't quite understand it.
It's part of the scoring system, where in addition to your pair and four sets, you also need one of a number of special conditions which make it a valid hand. All concealed is one, a set of dragons is another, but beyond that I forget.
As an aside, does /tg/ know of any good english language Mahjong platforms online? The only ones I've been able to find are either designed for gambling, overly expensive or have very limited options.
I'm really looking for something I and a group of friends can use to learn the game. I know ten second turn timers is considered long in the Mahjong community, but given I'm playing with friends and beginners I'd love a client where we can turn off the timers and take our time to figure things out.

Your day begins like any other – waking up in the bathtub of some family home – the family hanging from the ceiling. In the usual manner, you wake up quick as a flash, then quickly wake down a bit with a few Irish coffees.
On your way to work, you bump into somebody. An unremarkable fellow who greets you in the usual manner. “Hi. I like to blame everything in my life on other people and whine about how the world is unfair for not giving me everything I want in exchange for nothing. Please gut me and rid the world of my idiocy.” Being the kindhearted soul that you are, you oblige.
Satisfied at your nobility, you head off, the birds perched above on the power line blasting industrial metal.
Just outside your office, a mother pushing two children turns around to face you. “You really think Lilly could ever love a monster like you? She doesn’t love you at all. She’s just terrified of losing things.” You don’t actually see her lips move, but you hear her words. And they hurt your feelings. So you beat her to death with a nearby fire extinguisher and then set her children on fire.
Fire…
Yeah. Your thoughts are burning now. You need to cool them. So you head into the nearest bar and start knocking back shots. Some bad-smelling guy tries to hit on you. You frown. Body odor is a byproduct of skin-bacteria feeding on sweat secreted through skin. Therefore the problem would be resolved if he had no skin.
Satisfied with your reasoning, you pull out your favorite skinning knife-
“-nako?”
“…?”
You awaken to the door hitting you in the side and a tentative voice calling your name.
“L-lilly?” You murmur, still half asleep.
You hear her sigh with relief. “Are you alright, Hanako? You were screaming in your sleep again…”
“Oh. I had one of those dreams where I was Akira.”
“Ah. Those are always fun.”

Welcome to a thread taking place in a before now vaguely-detailed era of the first two installments’ past!
Those who are familiar with our first two quests might expect for this thread to start with the same question that created the first choice of the thread: the player character’s gender. And rest assured, such a choice will still be able to be made! Perhaps several times, if our drift is caught.
I figured that it would be interesting to, instead of basing the class and backstory of a single protagonist on pre-thread choices, provide three prologues, mini-chapters, explaining and influencing four viewpoint characters’ stories before the quest truly begins, closing the thread on a vote for who becomes the overall main character (though this does not completely remove the possibility of revisiting the others in due time, or even outright cycling through all three).
So, my friends, with whose backstory would you like to start?
>A. The child of a rebelling former noble, destined to become a prince/ss in their own right, should history indicate anything. They will have duties of their own to help bring about the course of history.
>B. Abandoned at infancy, a bold youth eventually adopted and formed by the hands of a vicious empire’s. They will be powerful by the end of their prologue alone, but also put into a greatly important-and tremulous-position.

Let it be noted that, though the course of history seems set now, a quest would be nothing if not for its playerbase’s ability to subvert the inevitable. Fate is not easily challenged, but it is not an impossible task.

It is now summer of your 3rd year: a time of peace, but also stress for your people as undead activity subsides temporarily for a few months and your Homonculi can safely venture through out the tower in longer intervals as the sun hangs high. But it is also a time of heavy, hot, bothersome work.
Previously: The Imp was.. "upgraded" and is now a "devil", we experimented with plants and invented a backwards compatible alchemical interface known as the "mandrake", we came up with our very first holiday, the laborers had a field day constructing an aquarium in our lab and honey producing bee boxes on the roof (much to the delight of all) and we've finally made contact with the sapient undead couple living on floor 3.
Collect Genetics. Expand the Psych. Establish your Independence. Create Beauty. Suffice the Ego.

(Cycle repeats: Summer)
Spring has matured and blushed into Summer; this has a few implications:
-It's hot, dry and humid and all three of these things in horrible, uncomfortable excess in any level with outdoor access.
-The stair case has completely dried out and there is no danger of traversing them. The pond waters on FLOOR 1 are also pleasantly full of now adult pan-sized fish.
-Most forested areas (particularly B1) have become completely and absolutely overwhelmed with insects: the sound of Cicadas in B1 are particularly loud and droning.
-The sun has been hanging around longer and brighter and as a result local undead activity has decreased significantly. Even Elizabeth has been restricted to the confined of her level.
+Spiritual Development+ The Technician who planted trees.
-With the Season's changing The Technician has begun to take more of an invested interest in nature (much to the annoyance of their familiar) and has started going out longer and longer by themselves: catching insects, fishing (Elizabeth having gifted them a rod and tackle set), studying plants and has even started taking up the practice of wood carving- producing little carvings of animals or bugs they keep in their study.

In the far future, many advances have been made in technology and the sciences. New materials, true AI, genetic engineering, everything from A to Z has seen an upgrade. Even entertainment has seen a change; the copious amounts of genetically modified athletes in sports both making them exciting, and extremely dangerous. The NBA raised the hoop height to reflect changes in average height, jump distance, and shot strength. The NFL realized that not even the copious amounts of pads and helmets they had could keep athletes from sustaining concussions, eventually switching to robots to settle the increasing public outcry. FIFA instituted a restriction on muscle modification to avoid the prevalence of tactics such as the German Kneecap Snap. Though these changes did draw the ire of purists, most were content to simply watch unofficial games made possible by open-source broadcasting.
Everything settled into its place, most people going on with their lives as progress marched forward, but the final straw was the invention of compounding muscle augmentation. Normally the modifications would not work in tandem, meaning that getting the same treatment twice wouldn't accomplish anything, but this threw that restriction out the window. Understandably, most augmentations designed to enhance resilience couldn't keep up, but the simplicity of the technique presented a problem in regulation. So instead of outlawing the process, the World Court outlawed augmentations in sports and other leisure activities involving competition. Sadly, this alienated most of the current athletes, and most fans found the new players and games to be boring compared to the high-action plays they saw before. Fortunately, a solution was provided.

The bell rings and the combatants step from their corners and move towards each other, one dancing and the other simply walking. The first punch is thrown by The Gladiator and his opponent, Tiny Dancer, quickly ducks under it. Throwing a few jabs to The Gladiator's midsection but leaving the brute unfazed, Tiny Dancer quickly hops back to get some distance. The Gladiator stumbles a bit, then quickly runs at the smaller fighter. Tiny Dancer attempts to flip out of the way, but the behemoth extends his arm for a clothesline, barely clipping Dancer. Spinning into the ropes, Dancer maintains his balance while nursing his arm, not even noticing Gladiator ricocheting off the ropes opposite the small combatant to go for another hit.
Dancer's coach is off to the side of the ring in a booth yelling into a headset and watching the feed from all angles. Hoping to save Dancer from an early loss, he shouts advice to the microphone. On the other side sits a grinning manager in a booth, but speaking no words. He fiddles with the various buttons and sticks of his display and makes the final adjustments to Gladiator's course. Flicking the switch he was looking for, the champion giggles.
The match ends with Gladiator's signature move, the Phalanx, extending its mechanical arms far enough that escape is impossible, Tiny Dancer takes a direct blow. The small bot's head flies clean off and the bell rings to signal defeat.
