Authorfag here, only just found your thread on Diversity Dungeons and it's archived already, but I thought I'd address a few things.

1. It's meant seriously, though the cover is a bit of a pisstake (and bait).

2. Yes, much of the booklet is common sense and obvious to reasonable and intelligent people - but how many of those do you know?

3 - I thought I made it clear that the statistics thing wasn't meant to be implemented, but as a demonstration - in fact - of why it shouldn't be. My bad.

4 - You seem very interested in my politics. I'm an anarchist in the sense that I consider that an ideal - but a currently unattainable one. That same set of ideals leads me to socialism as a more pragmatic solution to the problem of maximum freedom and equality of opportunity. People mistake socialism for state totalitarianism while I have the disadvantage of a formal education in political science and history :-/

5 - A bunch of allegations were made. None of them were valid and I think at least one of the people involved may be mistaking me for someone else. Never harassed anyone, not a rape apologist, argued with people certainly but frankly I have no idea who rumourfag was talking about or the situations they're talking about. 90% certain they're mistaking me for someone else (or making shit up).

6 - 'Cathedral of Misogyny' was an affectionate pisstake. Not an attack, though I do think 4chan dropped the ball during the whole Gamergate thing.

So, yesterday night we had our weekly game. The GM is taking a bit from a Berserk arc, and we have to save a secluded mountain village from a horde of ghouls, however said ghouls were created by a special ritual and cannot be harmed by normal weapons. So, the GM has us explore the forest and find a witch, and she gift each one of us a special magic weapon. Like I said, it was heavily based off Berserk.

And everyone is having fun, until the witch gives our pally her weapon, which is described as a "foreign blade", with a blade "tinted red,slender and curved, and impossibly sharp" and almost as tall as she is. Then the weapon is further described as having a black, laquered wood scabbard, a round guard and a handle wrapped in silk cord and shark skin.

Then another of the players (rogue) goes like "c'mon, a fucking katana?" The GM asks him to keep the meta quiet until the scene is finished, but the rogue player keeps interrupting about how he hopes she (the pally player) gets the proper penalties, then says he hopes the game won't become a "weaboo circklejerk" and just refuses to shut up, even after the pally player says she really likes the idea.

>tfw the game gets derailed to fuck over such dumb shit and both the GM and the Rogue player get pissed off at each other, and both called each other "neckbeard".

You are Second Lieutenant Samuel Fischer of the USMC, and you are following one of the basic precepts of modern combat: hunger waits for nobody. The walk to the mess is relatively uneventful, aside from having to toss salutes in the direction of a couple of RAF pilots, and surprisingly enough that Danish pilot you saw running from Helga’s room. Both of you quickly break eye-contact and pointedly ignore each other as soon as possible. No need to dredge up anything about the utter clusterfuck that was this morning. The smell of eggs and steak greets your nostrils; a sign of just how busy Tea Drinking Station was going to be in the coming months.

Grabbing a tray and getting a healthy serving of breakfast, you maneuver through the packed mess hall towards the table you usually occupy with your fellow squadron pilots. Malinowski and Foss are already there, with your RIO chattering a mile a minute and making odd hand gestures that you assumed had something to do with the hot and blue falcon worthy sex he’d had last night. Some people had all the fucking luck. Barging into the seat next to Malinowski, you listen in as you grab the pepper to liberally smother your otherwise tasteless eggs in.

“Then she grabbed the bed post and -” Foss makes a motion with his hands that seems to indicate something that’s pretty much physically impossible if you have a spine. “Seriously, I thought I’d die and then she uh”

You kick his shins under the table to get him to shut the fuck up instead of prattling on about his sex life. As he winced, you turned over to Malinowski. “So, how was your morning?”
