This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a twelve year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
>Rules
At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I stare at the nonsense scribbles and meaningless runes constantly writing themselves down through the tome of hungered knowledge. I wonder what it's actually telling me, if Mali isn't lying it's probably isn't being very polite about it anyways. Why am I still even looking at it this thing anyways? I can't read it or even hope to without my familiar's eyes, I'd be getting more done by staring into the darkness around me for all the time I've been looking at these...disturbingly thick and skin like pages. I sigh, tracing my near useless fingers down the pages, along the still drying ink.
A smile manages to creep onto my face as I slowly draw faint lines and swirls with the ink. Now I wonder how this book will react to that. Before I can even move my wings away from the pages, they start turning so quickly they nearly tear themselves from the binding.
I tilt my head inquisitively as dark red ink starts to scrawl itself out on the page, looking more like drawn threats than any language, mortal or not. And the same ink starts to pour out of the pages, so I calmly set it down away from anything that can stain and watch it, seeing if it will do anything else this...strange.
Oh no, it's just shutting itself like a child stomping away in a huff right after throwing a tantrum. Part of me still wonders what it was trying to scream at me. It's a shame, it probably had some pretty choice insults to throw at me, and now they're gone, wasted into its pages and reused for ink.
I sigh and fall back onto my back, holding my wings up so I don't end up laying on them, heaven knows how uncomfortable that is.
The air is warm, and so is the thin darkness all around me...and Mali isn't awake yet, so I have to assume it's still morning, since the little imp usually has the energy to rise with the sun and fall with it.

She frowns as I lose my posture, which makes her step closer to me, looking worried.
"Please tell me you remembered to take some blood" She sighs sadly, running her hand through my hair, making me blush in embarrassment
"A whole pint" I sigh, trying to get her hand off my head without using my wings "and thank you for checking, but I'm really just...doing some important research up here and"
"That's the same excuse Mizuki uses when she's reading dad's old dirty manga" Karla says flatly, making me smack my head as I remember who I stole that excuse from
"But I am researching" I say puffing my chest out, trying to keep my tone and not giggle "Its just...well my assistant is asleep, so I'm taking a bit of a break, per say"
Karla's eyes slowly turn behind me, and I follow her, looking over my shoulder to see Mali.
"She sleeps?" Karla says, sounding legitamtly shocked by this "revelation" "didn't think she needed to"

Welcome to the Accidental Magical Girl thread!
Various worlds and multiverses have become connected together via the mysterious Overcity, a sprawling landscape inhabited by monsters and magical beings. Girls and boys endowed with their new supernatural powers can work together solving conflicts that arise!
>This is NOT a greentext adventure style CYOA with one GM and thread posting to dictate the adventure, but rather a hub thread for multiple storycrafters to use. A majority of activity (including campaigns) instead happens in the IRC, which is open for newbies to join.
Characters can be rolled with either the CYOA's purple PDF which is intended as a writing prompt and is in the process of developing an independent auxiliary combat system, or AMGC's blue pdf which contains combat rules for PNP campaigns along with the rolls. The IRC mostly uses AMGC.

What is Berkukha?
Song of Swords is a realistic fantasy tabletop RPG that draws inspiration from historical fechtbuchs, weapons and armor. Its combat system is fast and it can be used for both fantasy and historical/mundane settings.
Call of the Void is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Its combat system is more modern, based in the early 20th century, but can probably handle combat up to the present day.

When Gorans expant their territory they take their land and people with them. All expansion is handled by the Right Arm of the Goran military. Swamp Lurkers, Swamp Folk, or Mossbacks are a race of ab humans that inhabit the swamps of central Soi. They are very reclusive and often hostile to outsiders entering their land.They differ from the normal human strain by their thick, greenish-brown, lumpy skin and ability to stay submerged underwater for 15-45 minutes at a time depending on their level of activity. They have been observed to be able to see very well under water. They are known to have natural night vision but very poor hearing except when underwater. Hey /tg/ I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to pick up Warhammer 40k after falling in love with the lore. After a flood of "don't fucking do it" I did it anyway and got a set with 3 ultramarines and paints for like $20. Here's my first go at painting, first two were like the one on the right and the one on the left is an experiment I did to making the armor look weathered. Just wondering what y'all's favorite thing to paint was/suggestions for a beginner.

I've been running a new campaign with some fairly new players, and i've fallen on a mental block of creativity.
So I'd very much like to hear some ideas for some short term or even long term goals that my players could be involuntary guinea pigs for.
Right now they are currently running about a coastal region collecting some crystal objects, but i don't have anything planned for when they collect all 7 of them. So ideas for that would be welcome as well.

What do you think an interstellar human culture that had instantaneous communication but no FTL travel would be like?
Assume that information can be instantaneously transmitted over any distance, but humans can't be scanned and reconstituted on the other side, and brains can't be uploaded or treated like "information".

You are a young vampire lady, /tg/. Your home was burned down by priests, crusaders and zealots. Being the youngest and weakest of your line you were hidden away in the great gardens as the instigators laid waste to everything you loved and cared for. Your father and your siblings stayed behind as you were led away by your mother.
Once outside the labyrinthine gardens you can see the thick forests that spell safety. The soldiers will never find you there, but in your way is a scouting party of a dozen or so armed zealots and a dark priest in horseback. They wear mail armor and wield spears and torches.
Your mother is terrified, she is not immortal like you and your siblings.
