Pathfinder Adventure Card Game is pretty decent. Also tried Dungeoneer but it's a shitty game IMO

I know of quite a few games where this sort of thing is an option, but not many where it's the core gimmick of the system.

Last Stand is a kind of Kamen Rider-ish game about people in customisable suits of bug-armour.

Princess: The Hopeful is a fan-made New World of Darkness game about transforming into Magical Girls to punch the forces of darkness. You can also make transforming dudes and dudettes very easily in Mutants and Masterminds.

You could always play Champions and buy the powers with appropriate Limitations.

Can surprise rounds chain? Like if my party ambushes some Kobolds and kill them in one round with some good roles can they walk to the next group with a surprise round?

Son, that shit is for high school kids.

I've been in these dive games before and they are the bottom of the roleplay barrel. The same thing will happen to it that happens to all games of that type: the good roleplayers identify and befriend each other, and then sneak off to roleplay with each other in secret games that the power-wank no-selling shitheads aren't invited to, whether they're playing freeform or good and proper RPGs with systems.

I hate to be the "mature games for mature gamers like myself" stereotype, but freeform really is for kids and manchildren. It's something people should grow out of, like fanfiction or YA novels.

It happened in a game I GMed once with a player who was raised by wolves. It was a part of a bigger thing though, since he also asked me if he could speak dog instead of common and I agreed on the grounds that it sounded funny.

The party rogue (who was surprisingly trustworthy) handled his money for him, although he never wanted much since he insisted on using a massive stone axe he took from an animated statue they fought.

Get on youtube and watch some painting guides. Maybe some building guides too if you have never done it. You will have to cut the models from the sprue then clean off the lines and chuncks from the mold before you paint them. These can be cleaned with the back side of that exacto knife. If not they will stand out very bad when painted. I prefer super glue over plastic glue. Dries quicker and you can toss the model in the freezer to break it apart if you want to change it a bit. Downside is the model will be more likely to fall apart.

Those brushes look too big for all except base coating. You will need to pick up some smaller brushes.

To play the game you will need d6s. That is all the system uses and with orks you may need a lot of them.
