What aspects of 'The Matrix' would you want the game to focus on?

I'd like the party to play a crew of red-pills aboard a hovecraft who must jack into the Matrix to accomplish various missions, like program extraction, data-stealing, sabotaging a facility, rescuing/finding potentials, etc.

I'd like it to have a huge focus on IN MATRIX stuff, and the real world part to be unimportant, a plot device at beast. Programs, Agents, glitches, and all those crazy weird-horror aspects of the franchise, but I'd also like it to simulate the frantic action and super-hero like abilities that redpills have, like slow-mo shoot-dodge and KUNG FU.

Play Dungeon World or D&D 5e instead.

Whatever you pick, just read the GM book all the way through and pick a pre-made adventure. Do that, and it's pretty hard to fuck up.

Or just borrow all her books and read them thoroughly. But be prepared to get constantly interrupted by "sorry anon, I think you're doing this wrong. You're actually supposed to add their combat proficiency bonus, not their combat skill modifier." And then you realize why all your monsters were killing players in one hit and have to fix everything you prepared.

Missed some questions last thread, the supernova class fortress in the new alterworld jump I posted, I got the measurements directly from the book so... its supposed to be a octogon with segments 1/2 mile long. Or at least thats how it is described in the book.

The upcoming Infinity RPG is actually doing something with this, with each player being assigned a secret objective from their home nation alongside whatever mission they're undertaking for O-12.

In line with your picture, this also sometimes comes up in Legends of the Wulin, with allies sometimes having different ideas about how to approach things, sometimes coming to blows. Thankfully, LotW is the best system for PvP I've ever come across, making it fun and interesting for everyone involved no matter who wins.

honestly, sounds like a rather boring way to use parralel worlds

personally I'm more fond of the idea of the fantasy world being our world in the far future (after some catastrophic event) then the isekai self inserts can be cyronically frozen to end up here or something and you can use the remains of the old world as great setpieces.
Or else have it be an intentional thing anyway and have the dimensional travellers be nazi seperatists fleeing Earth after the war ended using occult nazi magic and setting up an isolationist and xenophobic base in the mountains using WWII technology.
