I'm a casual that just drafts and sporadically plays modern so yeah, I don't think it's BAD, but it's a nice little excuse to try something different.

Already done brewing, playing UR Prowess seems OK but not having hexproof is hell so probably gonna splash green for Blossoming Defense

Not enough sets available to make a big difference from just being KtK extended, and i don't think it'll survive long enough for their to be enough sets.
All I had to do is add Torrential Gearhulks into Jeskai Black and I had a tier 1 deck.

Makes sense and it's good to be cautious that being said I disagree with you that it won't make it. It only needs a year or maybe two more of sets and people are still brewing and adoption seems like it's going well so I think it can make it through that time.

I think it has potential to be great, but the possibility of every deck just being 4 color good stuff and khans fetches shooting up in price has me worried. Modern 2.0 is a possibility
