Anybody up for a Warhammer Quest/Silver Tower general thread?
Yeah, there's the Age of Sigmar general, but those go by so quickly and it's really tough to get any kind of conversation about the specialized bits in.
Tell me about your campaigns. Tell me about your heroes. Is it just me, or are the Khorne heroes some of the best? 2 different heroes with healing abilities and 2 others who can reliably get off 6-8 attacks per turn?
What do you guys think? My group just restarted after getting halfway through our first campaign and had a total party wipe.

To be honest the new Warhammer Quest just doesn't look that interesting to me. A quest through a mad demon sorcerer's funhouse of minions and traps I can get behind, but going after some cult hidden in a slum just doesn't really do it for me. I'm sure it'll be fun but I probably won't buy it myself.

As a DM, would you ignore a natural 20 on a save roll and still kill a PC when he does something exceedingly stupid, like drinking a vial acid? I definitely would. Unless magic is involved, there's no way to survive something like this, even if you're the toughest person in history.

First, you're going to need to worry about legs and Realistic Features before software. Second, you definitely need to put an olfactory sensor on that because beagle. Third, I haven't heard anything about impersonation autosofts. What you might want to do is take the e-ghost of a real beagle as a Dependent and let him rig the drone with Walk Like A Monkey.

Wizard's don't customarily rely on a thick coat of metal between them and danger to survive, while knights customarily do. Wizards are also inherently not historically in their usual form, so the complaint would ring hollow.
