Hello people, hope to not offend you with a question.
Got my cards back a wild back, and I had a deck idea, I fullfilled that vision years ago... but lost the deck at some point, and remade it but it isnt as good.
10 years later Im thinking on finishing it, but I better ask... what would be a good direction to take it. Hope you just dont go "change everything is garbage".
The deck is Mono Green, and the idea is play enchantments and draw alot of cards, and use the Card Words of Wilding in the case im overdrawing and full the board with tons of bear tokens, or just kill the oponent with big enchanted minions. this are the base cards of the deck, the ones I feel I cant remove.
>4x Enchantress Presence (enchantment, draw cards when playing enchantments)
>4x Verduran Enchantress (creature, may draw a card when playing enchantments)
>2x Words of Wildings (if over drawing cards, because some times I play 1 enchantment and having to draw 4 cards, instead put maybe 2 or 3 bears)
Then there are cards that I think they work with the deck and would like to keep, but are not needed for the deck guimic
>4x Yavimaya enchantress (get +1/+1 for each enchantment in play, so It get bigger fast)
>2x Llanowar Elves (extra mana is welcome)
The next are just cards that I have around, and they do their job, but maybe there could be better options, there is even some I think I shouldnt be there at all....
>1x Mirri, cat warrior
>1x Gatherer of Grace (just have one, its turn stronger if I enchant it.... i guess...)
>2x Dragon Fangs (cheap enchantment that slightly buff creature and gives trample)
>2x fist of ironwood (make more creatures to enchant if I cant get permanents to enchant)
>2x elven warrior (a 2/3 for 2 mana seem fine maybe)
>1x Overwhelming Instinct (enchantment, when attacking with 3 creatures help me draw a card, this may help if Im not getting the "draw cards" combos and got tokens... probably better gone)
>2x Blanchwood armor (mono green full of forest, no brainer)
...
>>55158509
>1x pouncing wurm (If having the extra mana, its a 6/6 with haste, just a random creature i have)
>1x cudgel trol (its regenerate with 1 mana, so it help me to keep the creature on the board longer)
>2x living terrain (not always having creatures, better enchant lands, this turn them then into creatures to help me cast spells)
>1x uktabi wildcats
>1x Doubling season (the one of the worst additions maybe, it only was intended as a way to make double amount of bears If I have it on the board, and it being an enchantment just selected it, but dont have more than 1 and i dont feel it necesary)
>1x Ancient Silverback (its bigish.. okay with thouse trample enchantments, and regenerations)
>2x Mythic proportions (I have no real big end game creatures, so maybe enchanting a verduran enchantress or one of the bunch of bears could start hitting harder)
>and 23 Forest
and thats it, any ideas of making this concept just better with magic fron now a days?
The old version (the stolen or lost) had Wild Growth, which i guess would be good to keep drawing and having a better mana ramp.
also thought maybe white green would be fine, but Probably dont have good amount of cards to make it work any better.
How important is Words of Wilding?
>>55158709
well.. its a better way for stop drawing cards if I draw to many cards?
I dont think on putting 4 because having more than 1 in play dont make any difference, and If i keep drawings cards, i get to it faster.
>Ruling is hard. This was maybe my answer to Tolkien, whom, as much as I admire him, I do quibble with. Lord of the Rings had a very medieval philosophy: that if the king was a good man, the land would prosper. We look at real history and it’s not that simple. Tolkien can say that Aragorn became king and reigned for a hundred years, and he was wise and good. But Tolkien doesn’t ask the question: What was Aragorn’s tax policy? Did he maintain a standing army? What did he do in times of flood and famine? And what about all these orcs? By the end of the war, Sauron is gone but all of the orcs aren’t gone – they’re in the mountains. Did Aragorn pursue a policy of systematic genocide and kill them? Even the little baby orcs, in their little orc cradles?
So /tg/ are tax policies important?

Only if they're relevant to the campaign.
Or the story, or whatever. If not, fuck no. Should I describe the nutrient levels in the soil to justify the prevalence of certain crops?
>>55158404
I mean, for GRRM is, he raises a fair point here. Not the point that LOTR is a bad story for its philosophy, but merely a very different story from the one GRRM wanted to tell and the kind of stories many modern RPG players expect.

Oh look, it's this thread again. Here's your drug, now toddle off.
If the heresy never happened, would Curze still go rouge on the empire and fight for his own beliefs?
If I understand correctly, he and his legion were already on the way to become renegades before Horus juiced up on chaos roids.
>>55158326
He would get put down like mad dog he is
>>55158407
You dont catch a night lord, he catches you.
Also Curze was right all along.
>>55158326
Kurze and Angron would have gone rogue eventually, heresy or not.
Mortarion and Perturabo are maybes

Basically I'm playing a symbol mage who knows the dozen words of creation.
The only issue is that I'm having a problem with what the words are
What the fuck did you just say to me, you little bitch?
Are there any traits common among elven players?
What takes a man to play an elf?

Do you have any elder gods in your setting?
What are they like?

senile
They're too horrible to describe, but have been reimagined by the people as the modern pantheon

Building Lightsworn. Should I order a playset of Snow, or is she likely to be hit on the list next month?

i don't know how to build a good deck.
i know malice doll of demise is old but i really want to be a part of me deck.
i want to run him on a dark deck that revolves around graveyard and banish zone, not only that but recycling.

Infected Mail might work well with it.
Did he ever look at his brothers that followed him and think "did I pick the wrong side"?

There's an audio drama called "Warmaster" where he's hilariously salty about winding up with all the autists and retarded dregs on his team. He also bitches about it to Mortarion in "Path of Heaven".
you ever go and look back at old, and I mean really old, like, say, your old high school sketchbooks or GM-notes and think: "shit! with a little work, and some polish, some of these are actually cool ideas" or is that just me?
pic. unrelated...

I once went through some old drawings of mine and found something that made me burst out laughing. I didn't even remember making it.
I wish I could find it now, I know I took a picture of it somewhere. It was a special forces character from a science fiction setting that had a "commemorative pen" for 20 years of service.
Something about it was just really funny - maybe my awful drawing skills, idk
>>55157515
God no. Any time I look through my old stuff it's just a fucking cringe fest.
Found a great react pic once.
Anybody actually use these?
Weird dice thread.
>>55157187
I forget who said it but there's the old adage "If it's not broke, don't fix it"
>>55157391
Fpbp
Why does it truly offer over a standard D20 other than just being different. Simply being novel is not a virtue, there have to be improvements.
Dicerings are a cute concept, but they were always a bit expensive for me.
Then again, I bought into the PolyHero kickstarters. They're silly novelty dice, but I do like the designs, and the Wizard set is a clear improvement over their earlier Warrior set.
I've started to run a SMT game with dnd 5e but the table for modern weapons in dmg lacks variety. Any recommendations?
Will allowing players store conjured beings in COMPS (with a limit of course) break the game?
Also, any game stories?

What are good names for an adventuring party?
How does dragonborn reproduction work? First of all, do they lay eggs? Second, can a red dragonborn fug a green dragonborn and reproduce?
>>55157084
Our current party is called "Arcane Agents of the Royal Guard", or AARG
we're all wizards/sorcs/warlocks in service to the king

Depends on the setting my guy
What are some good low level enemies to throw at a new party that aren't kobolds, goblins, or rats?

What side of the Ixalan conflict would your flake be on? The Brazen Coalition, the Sun Empire, the Legion of Dusk, or the River Heralds?

I can't imagine any of them that would genuinely side with pirates, considering they're all assholes.
What are some good words that relate to the hardboiled crime fiction genre or film noir? I'm trying to think up a good generic title for a story. Not 'hardboiled' or 'noir' please.
>Hardboiled Crime: A Wilson Noir Story
Here are fictional (some might be real, but I don't know) noir movie titles:
Good Cop Going Bad
Bullets and Lace
Nightlife
Dead City
Alleys of Death
Murder in The Night
Hell City
double-cross
no more heroes
the red lady
blood in the streets
dead man's hand
