So now that it's been confirmed that we're getting nids, Eldar and IG after AdMech, what's your wishlist lads? What do you hope to see? Expect?
give us plastic aspect warriors for fucks sake. just like a dire avengers box. thats all I ask, we can make autarchs with them, we can get some customization, we can have squads that dont look like a bunch of copy cats. all i ask for is plastic aspect warriors
>>55160534
Toxicrene, Maleceptor, Haruspex, Tyrannofex to be made actually useful for the first time ever. Zoanthropes minimum brood size back down to 1 or them made able to do something (anything), venomthropes removed from the game completely, replaced with plastic malanthrope.
So obviously plastic malanthrope, plastic biovore/pyrovore kit and a plastic lictor.
>>55160534
>we can make autarchs with them
Realistically expect HQs to lose wargear options.
>Hmm..anon, whats your passive perception again?

>Can we roll again? We just really wanna be careful

>he didn't ask to take 20.
>he isn't playing OSR where the GM describes everything in the room if you ask.

Every socialist I know that plays D&D mains Paladin and prefers it over any other class, regardless how useless he might be in the party. Why are political extremes drawn to it? Do they realise they meme themselfs by playing a Paladin? Sessions usually folow to them realising they can't do shit with their PC in social encounters, because to most NPCs in most settings their ideals are just so out of place everyone thinks they are an asshole. Especially when the Paladin robs the rich merchant to distribute the bread no one wants to eat.
>>55160215
Fuck off back to /pol/
>>55160215
I can confirm this. I have a hardcore stalinist communist/socialist friend and he always, without a fault plays either a Paladin or some form of Inquisitor. Never gave it much thougut though.
>>55160215
> shit-tier logic
/pol/ really needs to leave.
What's everyone's favorite =][= Ordo, and why?
Chronos, mainly because the sheer ammount of fun shit you could come up with is amazing. Malleus is good too for the same reasons, fun and whacky adventures.
>>55159947
I always thought it'd be funny to do an Ordo Chronos warband of psykers and psychic inquisitors. Sort of in the vein of Los Magos Del Tiempo, wacky magic shenanigans, etc.
I was gonna say Xenos because of Eisenhorn but then it's not like he does much xenos hunting outside of that one chapter where he fights a haemonculus

Okay, so now the question is...how would Ruin exploit this to push her way of preventing people from seeing their Mystical Destiny when it's right in front of them.
Her thing is making people sceptical of the opportunities presented by the the following the light of the Watchtowers so they never think they could be anything greater than what they are now.

First for Changeling Supremacy
>>55159856
Chances are? Murder. Encourage the Atariya to develop the destiny-eating merit, that sort of thing.
>>55159813
Purified being 'minor'. Let them learn influences, unlock their numina progression, give them an 'endgame' by bolting on some sort of titles that lets them build influences north of six.
I've been all about Diablo for a few weeks. Building a setting heavily inspired by the series. What's a good system to run it in? Not looking for the d20 stuff from the early 2000's.
Considering how disproportional the power of heroes gets vs the monsters, you're looking for something along the lines of Exalted.
>>55159729
4e could work.
Minions reminds me a lot of the non boys enemies in diablo.
You could do it in pathfinder with the minion rules put out independently by one of the paizo devs if you want 3.x.
You could do it in 5e, but the focus on ridiculously powerful weapons isn't there.
You'd want to use many weak 5e enemies though.
Gurps and Unisystem could do it, but it would take more work.
>>55159817
Dangit. I'd been out of Diablo for a while when 4e was my group's game of choice so I never thought of that.

Assuming the heresy never happened and everyone lived in a happy, yet dysfunctional family, how would The Emperor and the Primarchs have reacted to the Tyranids?
>>55159475
something something emperor psy warp bullshirtery that gives the space marines a fighting chance
>>55159475
They wouldn't have. Didn't you hear? Literally everything is because of the Horus Heresy now.
>>55159475
I fucking hate what shitty writers have made of the Heresy.
Back then it was something shrouded in mistery.
Now it's Space Marine 30000 with extra space marines
Do you prefer fighters, mages, or thieves?
>>55159421
Fighter is the only way to go. It's refreshing to be able to rely on yourself in combat.
>>55159421
Depends on my mood
>>55159421
Sorceress waifu best.
I feel burnt out on all my /tg/ related hobbies. My 40k armies sit in mostly-finished states, players seem interested in Shadowrun or DnD then drop (which I'm thankful for since my plot-making mojo is gone), and the few deckbuilders I have aren't fun anymore.
What do?
>>55159282
Take a break and play vidya/watch sports/read a book for a while until you get inspired again. If you get inspired again.

Hey there /tg/, I've been running a D&D group for the past couple of weeks, and just wanted to sow you guys this dungeon idea I had, well, kind of a dungeon, but still interesting.
I thought I'd also extend the thread to anyone who wants to post their own dungeon ideas too.

OP's Dungeon: The Blind Library
Inside here is an area known as the Blind Library. It’s proprietor, the Blind Medusa, has made peace with the world, and gouged out her eyes so she can no longer curse travelers. Kharsi, the Blind Medusa, has let her serpents grow so long, that they extend through the whole of the underground area. She has memorized the sum whole of every text within. Her serpents act as feelers, giving her a virtual radar of where everything is. She has a simple request for those who enter; remove her sister’s heads from their bodies, and be rewarded handsomely. Inside are the three medusa sisters; The Sun (Solianta), The Moon (Terastor), and The Star (Kelian). The three live in “wings” away from the main library. Before they set off, she gives them the Droughts of Basilisk, which keep the petrifying effects to a minimum, but will kill you if you do not receive the antidote. She offers to answer any three questions you may have. If you succeed in this quest, you have free access to her library for all of eternity.
>>55159249
The Sun:
Solianta, the bardic mage, lives under the great observatory. A large glass dome, located on the peak of a hidden bluff in the Turnsands, lets her view the skies. She lives like this so she may spite the gods long dead, cursed with her current visage. Her grand observatory is filled with mirrors, smashed to bits, and rusted instruments, faded golden harps, the statues of vain and pretty explorers, and other vain and self-focused items. She attacks with lunatic ravings, rants, and screams. She also will try to kill the party by gazing at them through broken mirrors, ignorant of how much they do not work, since drinking the Basilisk’s Potion. She was formerly a Tiefling Bard, scorned by the gods for her beauty and grace. She isolates players in her massive labyrinth of trash, and picks them off one-by one.
>>55159277
The Moon:
Terastor, the druid, relies on natural attacks. Her garden is full of trees, flowers, and small animals. She is able to animate statues to attack for her, while she watches from the trees. She is incredibly nimble, able to dodge most attacks with ease. She keeps a basilisk as her pet and ally. She uses a ripper claw, and will pop out of reflecting pools and out of the tree-tops. In life, she was a Wood-Elf ranger, who sought nothing but taking the biggest game. She has spent the last millennia here, documenting and taking care of the flora and fauna inside her ruins turned green-house.
If the Emperor was still around, how would he deal with the various xeno races? Would he want them all purged or would he want humanity to coexist with some of them (Eldar/Tau... etc)? Would some be prime targets for extermination?
>>55158861
He'd purge them just like he did in the Crusade.
>>55158861
Ultimately, purged. In the short-term he might be pragmatic, but I doubt there'd be any tolerance.
In what is now older lore, he had a change of heart directly before being interred. Before, he was willing to cooperate with any species that would bind itself to his goals, kind of like the Tau.
When he realized remorselessness was necessary he said something like "no mercy for xenos, heretics, or traitors"
