There are mushrooms growing in the wine bottles. Sealed wine bottles! How can you even get mushrooms to grow in a sealed wine bottle? I'm reasonably certain that some of the chairs in here are held together by nothing more than the snot and earwax of your patrons. Why, I even saw a man eating scrambled eggs from a shoe! A SHOE, MAN! Don't you have plates for them to eat off of? There are even BARNACLES hanging from the stove in your kitchen, for gods sake. Barnacles are normally found underwater, not in a kitchen! Don't even get me started on the state of your lavatory. There are not even demons would use that blighted thing you would call a toilet.

How in the nine gods do you even stay in business? What kind of unholy contract did you have to sign to be able to stay open?

It sounds like your brother understands that there's a problem and wants to make things work for you, so you should be able to solve this one by talking about it. I think you're right about asking him to move the game day (or time, if he's able to start and finish his game earlier on a Friday night). What's happened so far isn't working for you and it's a reasonable request. Maybe talk to him about it on a Monday or something when you're feeling relatively calm about the situation? It's probably a good idea to start the conversation by thanking your brother for the steps he's taken to try fixing the problem, but let him know that he's still keeping you awake.

Also, try to be understanding if he asks to put off the rescheduling discussion until that Friday's session. Gamers can be lousy about replying to mid-week e-mails.

At first he would think that he could use it to bargin with Sauron for a greater share of control of middle earth, but then change his mind and try to keep the ring for himself. In Isengard he would hide himself away, at first even more greatly building up his armies for protection, but then begin to shun even his most faithful followers out of paranoia. Eventually, when his defenses decayed, or he fled his sanctum out of fear of the very forces he had constructed, he would be slain by the Nazgul, and the ring returned to its rightful owner.
Sarumon is no fool however, and in death he may realize the truth of the one ring: it has no power to offer anyone but Sauron. To everyone else it merely spreads false promises.

Considering saruman was more powerful than gandalf he'd probably also be able to master it and not become a slave to sauron.

In one of the Ciaphas Cain novels, it is claimed that ork lenguage is mostly grunts, shouts and punchs. The stuff they say 'loik dis' it's in-universe the best translation the Ordo Xenos could get.

But I heard that in older editions the orks could "loot" the tongue of their foes, so they could understand what they were saying and even taunt them back. So if a imperial watched a orks vs eldar battle, the human would hear a broken version of the eldar tongue coming from the greenskins' mouth.

It's mostly path dependent anon. Arguably a monarchy has better reaction time and long term planning, but many nations will be democracies because governments are heavily based on the military tech of their founding era.

Think priest vs warrior. In high-skill/high-cost eras, knightly norms predominate; in low-skill/mid-cost eras whoever manipulates the proles best (commies, fascists, Americans...) gets the best army.

I suppose if you're super advanced, you could do wacky stuff like crypto-locked strategic weapons owned by an corporate board through blockchains, who elect a CEO-king for life or until fired.
