Best I can remember from the psych class is that you can best remember things if you are in a mental state/situation. In my own worthless opinion I think doing school stuff is probably ok while buzzed not drunk, but I also have been getting white girl wasted every night for far too long so I know not friend.

Modafinil isn't as effective as stimulants, and it's many many time more expensive. I had a prescription for narcolepsy and they'd keep you alert, but wouldn't make you focus better than a cup of coffee would. People shill it really fucking hard as a wonder drug for affiliate money, though. Next time you read an article about how awesome modafinil is, check to see if there's a link to modafinilcat or a different website selling it at the bottom.

I take 54mg concerta every day, works extremely well. Tried a bunch of noots and they all seem to barely be better than placebo. It's kind of a marketing things, that ceretropic guy shills all his products really fucking hard as the next generation of smart drugs.

Stick to the tried and true stimulants.

In my opinion math is math. The only difference between applied math and pure math is in graduate specializations, not employment. If you are doing applied math and took courses that cover foundations, algebra, analysis and topology then you are a mathematician.

Probably between 6-8 hours a day of just self-study. I think it'll be something like 3 hours of classes a day (sometimes tutorials of varying length but probably about 2 hours, although I think the structure is you can drop in and drop out). I'd say that I'll be doing between 9 and 15 hours a day.
