How much of your daily time do you spend in your field of study, /sci/? Classes, studying at home, exercises, reading, etc

Probably between 6-8 hours a day of just self-study. I think it'll be something like 3 hours of classes a day (sometimes tutorials of varying length but probably about 2 hours, although I think the structure is you can drop in and drop out). I'd say that I'll be doing between 9 and 15 hours a day.

because everything else sucks
I dedicate a lot of my time for self-studying and also a lot of my time for what we take at the university. There's a lot that they don't teach us at the university, so I have to self-study a lot and I enjoy it, too.
I am a computer-science student, but I am also interested in other sciences.

Just starting my third-year of a PhD program, passed candidacy exams in the spring.
Work about 60 - 80 hours/week. Average 11 - 13 hours/day during the week, typically a 9-to-5 day on Saturday, and a few hours on Sunday afternoon or evening.

I don't think what he posted is typical in America, either
10-11 hours per weekday I'd estimate
Holy molly.
Do you guys have another hobby besides studying? Like being musician n' shit
>>8311537
Yes but you can easily knock out several hours of study between the morning and like 5 or 6pm. I myself like to dance but most things go on in the evening so it doesn't matter if i'm studying from 10am to 5pm or something

Because if you spent your entire life on one chosen field you'd never know it all.
If you focus on many, you'll never know shit about shit.
