…signed, Ms. Glamville.

You flourish the forged signature as you’ve seen Ms. Glamville, the school nurse, do so many times. Lucky for you Scarab seems to enhance not only your physical strength but your long term memory as well! So many little details you almost forgot about now crystal clear! Confident in your forgery you make your way to the last few classes of the day, biology conveniently being on the third floor. The hallways are empty, your footsteps echoing like you’re taking a stroll down a cavern. Finally on your right is room 316, one of the many Science Labs. You enter the class of sophomores and juniors and are immediately greeted by your teacher, one Mr. Warren. A pudgy, bald, middle aged teacher who you swear to God just picks on kids for the sheer fun of it.

“And where is your-“ you cut him off before he can finish his sentence and present your late slip with a slight grin on your face. You know for a fact that drives him mad, the sheer smugness you’re radiating. Fat jackass deserves to be put in his place once in a while. You heard he made a Freshman cry, who does that?

“Oh… well then… I’ll just have to convene with Ms. Glamville on this notes authenticity.”

You swear you can hear the snide mockery in his voice. God he talks to people like he knows what he’s saying. Dude’s a biology teacher with degree from a diploma mill, tries to use big words, feel superior. What a cunt.

“Regardless,” He resumes, “Take the only seat that’s left… next to Mr. Parker.”

Again that fucking smarm.

“Perhaps he’ll rub off on you and you’ll actually grade higher than a C.”

NEW PLAYERS WELCOME

Welcome to Gyrocite.

You play as an all-around "handy man" for an upstart company whose invention could change the world along with its partners. Your current job is finding the last of some stolen prototypes and possibly finding a way through an old abandoned passage which was totally filled with cave spiders.

Don't worry about catching up or trying to understand it all. Just play along

It had been a while since you’d been here.

The blinking old sign; the mess of pots and pans; the punch and time cards arranged in the corner; the stained walls; the freezer door ajar on your right, leaking cold air; the noise of the customers out in front, calling for orders and the idle chatter of your once-workmates, toiling about the meals as the day came hard and fast. You can almost hear your boss, right across the counter, shouting obscenities left and right as the next batch of orders came in, the pressure-cooker an indicator of his mood more than a utensil. You remember bumping into one of your seniors by accident, sending a potful of spaghetti all across the floor, a tirade worthy of an epic poem following right after. Your hand touches the smooth metal surface of the prep table, shouts and yells for orders hitting you harder and faster. It was a typical quick-eat joint, and even in war, people wanted to get their fill. You duck slightly as you take a step towards one of the deep-fryers; the ceiling had always been a little low … and the so were the pipes overhead.

This had been your station in the early days. Back then, you weren’t yelled at as much. You didn’t have the shadow of your seniors on your back telling you to hurry up with the next set of meals. Turning around, you spy the top of the cabinet, where a brand new radio stood, stained and battered, but relatively new, nonetheless … and it would always play the same song in the mornings of your shifts. An old man talking about death—his own death—and your boss in half a pool-chair to support his massive bulk, taking a puff of his cigarette and sending a glare your way … no, not your way. Your way. The man you once were, a shade among shades, caught in a cycle of mistakes and toil.

That is what you remember here.

All that you remember, in this dream.

So this is what it looks like.

You turn to see the giant of a being, seated on one of the tables, offering a sympathetic smile.

Existence.

Commander.’

You shift uncomfortably, feeling a cramp in your side as you open your eyes and come face-to-face with your room wall.

It was morning.

Commander.

Welp we have a situation on our hands. First off we have a rather pissed off cultist group in the building in front of us, second the orks we sent in are getting the shit kicked out of them, and third we have no idea exactly what is killing our orks.

Now Kali and her guardsmen are within range to assist but we still have no idea what the numbers are for the cultists and what is actually in there, just that it is strong as fuck.

We do have the option of calling in the imperial navy to level this place but that will most assuredly kill our orks, but victory does not come without sacrifice as they say.

Welcome to guardsman quest.

Now then since the last thread did not have enough votes on what to do we have one vote for 3 and here are the options.

>[1] order Kali and her men to breech the doors, we need to get in there and reinforce the orks. NOW! (fel)
>[2] order Kali and her men to start lobbing grenades into the building. the orks are a lost cause and if something took out that many orks in one go then we would just be feeding a meat grinder.
>[3] have Mirasi take command of the troops, you move to a better position and start firing into that building, you are taking some heads for what they are doing to your orks. (agx2, bsx2)
>[4] Vox up Phe'nia and ask her kindly to get the navy to just bomb this place while you retreat, they probably have more than one demon inside so best to just blast this place to dust.
>[5] write-in

Welcome back to Anime Delinquent Quest, students!

I am your PrincipalGM, bringing you this tale of epic manliness and punching!

Last time we met our protagonist, the Legendary Delinquent, Nakai Youma. After dealing with four dumbasses who were stepping on your turf, you went to your First Period class at Maeda Academy, a school filled to the brim with people like you. After class was over, you had a brief stand off with your rival, Chie Sakurada, the head of the Kendo Club and Discipline Committee.

She made you rather pissed, so you went to the gym to work off your frustrations. There you drunk some GAR Soda, met a K-pop idol who summoned a giant wooden golem to kill you, unlocked your Limitless power, and destroyed it using the manly of your fist.

Afterwards you went to your Second Period class, learned that the competition against your Rival School is coming up, and sat thinking about your life.

Now, the story continues!

In orbit around the world of Aradia, two battle fleets stand poised to fight, a growing belt of debris between them serves to mark previous clashes. The Imperial Fleet under the leadership of Commander Alana Tyrna holds near a captured, orbital shipyard, while the genocidal Yevetha hold low orbit around a fortified moon, hoping to draw the Imperials into range of their static defenses.

And every minute spent in orbit of Aradia is another minute less to press the attack into Yevethan space, potentially derailing Admiral Lobkin's carefully laid invasion plans. Now, Alana must find a way to destroy the enemy fleet and bring retribution to the Yevetha. . .

I allow between ten and twenty minutes for voting depending on the importance of the issue and how divided the vote is. If the vote is tied up, I usually allow an extra five minutes for a tie breaker, and if no one votes, I roll for the tie breaker (The will of the dark side).

I always try to incorporate (and encourage!) write ins if they don't violate the spirit of voted decisions, though I may edit or tweak them to fit better.

I also am always open for questions. I'll just ask that they stay relevant to current events in the quest, or at least the near future.

"Winterborn reports forward hull breaches have been secured ma'am," Communications calls to you from his station, the latest in a string of updates as ad hoc repairs are carried out on ships all across your fleet. Fortunately, your losses have been limited to fighter craft and escort vessels with the largest ship lost being a Strike-class cruiser.

"Thank you, lieutenant," you reply, studying damage and repair reports from your division. All told, the damage is not that bad, especially not for a numerically inferior force on the attack. In fact, it seemed your force had punched over its weight against the Yevetha, though you weren't sure where credit for that small feat lay, either with inexperience of your enemies, or skill on your, or your division's part.

"All flight leaders have reported in as well," Bastra adds, "Those who made it out. We still retain 70% of our fighter compliment, which is about on par with what we've dealt to the enemy it seems."

"Hmm," you nod. "What about the fortifications on that moon, do we have any more information?"

"A few hasty maps," Bastra says, "And what we could detect with com-scan. We're looking at a handful of capital-grade weapons systems, and numerous smaller point-defense systems. Of note, we mark two hypervelocity guns and an ion cannon. I imagine they aim to use those two in conjunction to tear up our Destroyers."

A destroyer, left shield-less after a good ion cannon hit, would be easy pickings for hypervelocity guns lying in wait. It was a solid plan. Against a gun with the power of that ion cannon, your Star Destroyers would only be able to withstand a few hits before their shields and other systems overloaded. Your smaller vessels would be even less protected.

"And plans for dealing with it?" you ask.

"They'd be fools not to have some kind of local shielding around those sites, but they do have to drop them to fire. That said, bombardment? If we could get ground forces to the surface that may work as well, or a fighter raid."

"All of which require we pass the Yevethan fleet in orbit," you say.

"That's the situation." Bastra sounds just as pleased as you. "They're clever buggers."

"Clever," you allow, "A bit heartless," you can't help adding, thinking about the city-sized funeral pyres burning on Aradia's surface far below.

"Beasts," Bastra spits.

Now of course, if falls to you to determine how best to move this operation forward. You were tasked by Admiral Lobkin with seizing Aradia's industrial facilities, and have already captured the shipyard intact. He allotted 24 hours for this operation, and an additional 24 to seize Tamban, and rendezvous with the fleet. You're already down a few hours, but still have a sizable Yevethan force holding near the moon.

>Contact Admiral Lobkin for advice, reinforcements
>Consult command staff and other destroyer officers on options

After everything you've just been through, you don't think you could sit comfortably in the presence of a garden salad, let alone creepy, blood-covered vines. Penkala piles every ounce of plant matter she can find into a corner and lights it up.

Meanwhile, Whitworth looks for some badly needed medicine and finds two doses. Each party member has 2 HP out of 3.

“Lord Elarian, take your men to the surface! Try and contain the beast in the camp! I trust the strengths of your party, Lord Greyson’s and the walled men are enough to destroy it before it causes too much damage!”

Elarian nods, and runs through the tunnel as fast as he can with his full armor. The clanking noises follow them out.

You rush into the tunnel, shouting at Arjo and the rest to join you up ahead and try and pin the running lord. Ahead and behind you are the loud noises of boots on rock and puddles. The terrain attempts to sweep your feet from underneath, but you maintain your balance and continue keeping pace. You never see the lord ahead of you; you only hear it.

Eventually, the path moves upwards. The farther up it goes, the brighter the tunnel appears. You assume a crawling position at some points, pulling yourself farther with your gauntlets. Arjo takes lead the entire time, but doesn’t manage to fire a shot just yet.

You meet Arjo outside, where you find yourself at a smaller cave entrance. A couple miles to your left is the walls of the Great Plateau. To the right, the Border Wall, far away. Despite the distance, you can hear the noises of battle cutting through the flat rocky land. You remind yourself to block this tunnel on your way back.

You look in the distance and see the lord fleeing on foot. Arjo runs a good distance forward, and nocks an arrow. You hope today he makes his mark.

Heya, my name is Harlenn Quinnzel! You can call me Harley tho, everyone does! You might know me as the Joker’s ex girlfriend and henchwoman, blah what a jerk, but I’m dating a cutie named Adam Issacs’ now. Also known as Gravitas, member of the Dweeb Titans. Yuck, everyone has their flaws though, even little old me. I might not look it, but I have a screw or two loose. Admitting and accepting each other’s flaws is the key to a healthy relationship. I would know I wrote my doctoral thesis on it.

The problem today isn’t him. It’s who’s after him. Deathstroke the terminator, the deadliest assassin in the world. You hire the League of Assassins or Deadshot when you can’t afford his rate. He wants Adam’s head and I want to know why. Because of that I’m heading back to Gotham

The Grey Ghost is exactly how you remember it smoky, dusty, and smelly slightly of barf and blood. The old light brown cheap wooden floors are faded and discolored in a huge blotches, from fist fights and poorly thought out binges that were hastily, constantly, and clumsily wipped clean. The barflys and regulars are pigs lining up for their daily slop, jugging down beer after beer no matter how much they spill on themselves or drunk they get. The bar looks like one of those christian hell houses used to scare kids straight. Basically your kind of place.

You don’t have time to get wrapped up in nostalgia or with old friends. You’re looking for Edward Nigma, the biggest information broker in Gotham and one of the few super villians in Gotham your not in good graces with. Maybe it’s because on the Joker’s orders, you had a habit of stealing bombs he mad, breaking his thumbs when he wouldn’t disclose information on his clients for the Joker, or the time you and Joker stole his car and had sex in his backseat.

>A,) Hit up “Big” Ben the barkeep

>B.) Hit up a few henchmen to see if The Riddler is hiring or planning something.

>C.) Hit the payphones and call Ivy, maybe she could help

Last time on Innerworld Civ, we met some of our neighbors, learned about others, and decided that war is the only way of reaching solutions - or it will be soon.

However, as we ended, there were signs of change - and that is how we'll start off for the day. The reed boats that had washed down the coast in prior years - they had come again, but this time with people still inside. To be specific, ghouls, our own kind - and they're seeking to meet with our leaders to discuss matters of war. They haven't been very specific and are being met with some suspicion, but they seem different than our villagers.

There are two of them, one man clad in some light shiny material along with what looks like a skirt. Most notable about his appearance is the lack of leather leggings, which we use to protect from the elements. He's taller than most in the village, and bulkier too. The other is a woman clad in flowing robes, made of an unknown material. However, the coloring of them appear similar to some we and the Tans use, according to the dyers there.

Will we allow them to speak to the chief or a council?

Last we left off we had fought off a small chaos incursion, and having disabled the Hecate class cruiser in orbit, screams still come of people being tortured over the vox, and the maniacal laughing of the chaos followers....

It is believed that we killed the chaos space marines in the battle on the station and on the planets surface but it is impossible to know how many chaos followers remain on board....

You tensely grip your command chair as you watch the strike team begin the boarding operation....

Inquisitor Corean stands beside you, his eyes glued to the screen as well.

A junior Inquisitor leads a team of Inquisition storm troopers and a platoon of our best men, armed with carapace armor, flamers, shotguns and the occasional plasma rifle....

Roll a d100 to determine the success of this action.... (I will take the average of the first 3 rolls)

Hey /qst/ I've sort of been toying with an idea and I think i'm ready to try it.
RULES
•Only 4 players anymore would start to be really really crazy and difficult.
•Turn order will be decided by the dice
•Players should have a player avatar just makes things easier.
First I need four players CYOA from this and then we'll continue on to the next set in the game setup.

I would prefer if everyone would have a name too.

Made some shitty cover art, hope you like it.

Welcome back to Slasher Villain Quest, you are an undead killer known as "Molar" or "the Miner." Your sole purpose has always been to act as a plot device for the main characters to overcome in the generic slasher movies you star in. But unlike most such villains you decided to break free from convention and forge your own path instead of going strictly by a script.

So far this has netted you success, you managed to successfully track down and kill a group of rowdy teens that invaded your domain a while back, including the pesky virgin that somehow always manages to escape from most others of your kind.

A week has passed by since those events, and now your domain is once again being disturbed by outsiders. Only you find them not to be mere teens but a mixture of law enforcement and other state employees who've come to investigate the source of the fire that almost threatened to burn down the forest that surrounds your rocky home.

You wake up to the sounds of footsteps echoing around the walls of the mining shaft that the remains of your body reside in. The glimmering shape of a flashlight covers the ground in front of you as your white beady eyes spot a pair of police officers. Judging from the badges on their uniforms, they look to be from the local force stationed in the nearby town of Ashton.

What do you do?

A) Wait until they walk past you then take them down with your pickaxe
B) Let them pass freely
C) Attempt to scare them away
D) Attempt a prank on them (write-in the prank)
E) Other (write-in)

Welcome back and the cover art is perfect for Molar.

>C/D wait for them to walk past before letting out our best creepy laughter

I support this >>1677542. Then get out of there. Make them think they are hallucinating.

The cover art is dope.

"Hey Tommy, why the fuck are we even searching through this place? There's nothing but rocks here."

"Because the chief ordered us to check every single landmark in the area for clues as to just what the hell happened."

You wait until the two completely oblivious idiots walk past you without paying your rotten corpse much attention beyond a few words of disgust at the smell.

After the pair has rounded the corner and headed down to one of the subsections of this part of the tunnel network you stand up with a shit-eating grin that would make the Joker jealous before releasing a deep, bone-rattling laughter that will surely send chills down the spine of even the hardiest of men.

Roll 1d20 to see how successful your spooky skeleton act is with a stealth bonus of +2.
