Do you want to see a flashback from the talk between Zoe and Lyann, or are you fine with just knowing it happened?

Should we start with Eldric petting Zoe awake and then taking her home, before doing some more work instead?

>This Quest Is Purely driven by the people who respond to it. There is no set path, no stats, no complicated rolls to succeed or fail in. Write in anything, within reason based on the current situation the character is in. I will only start writing the outcome of answers after one gets at least two other Anons to agree with the idea. You must come up with a unified answer or nothing will get done.

>“The only thing I know is that I know nothing”
–Socrates

You slowly open your eyes and stare up at the cold, black ceiling made of stone and slowly attempt to understand the situation you're currently in. Looking around, you see your right arm is shackled to the floor by a rusty chain, and it has the numbers "34192" tattooed onto it. You try remembering what happened up to this point...

You remember soldiers in heavy black armor attempting to carry you away. You remember struggling and fighting against their will, but you only succeeded in kicking one in the head, forcing it's helmet off, and being forced to stare into their bright red eyes as they stared back at you. Suddenly you felt sleepy and before you knew it you fell into a deep slumber. Then you woke up here.

Who were you? Where are you now? You decided that none of that matters now. All you need to do is attempt to escape, but....

How?

Examine the chain, also check our clothes if these are our original clothes.

Let's see how much length is in the chain and how tight the cuff is.
>>
>>1719561
The chain is rusty. Grab two of its links (preferably two that have a position on the chain really close to your arm) and start grinding them against each other. In time, the links will erode away. Once this happens, coil the entire chain into a pile so that the break in the chain is obscured. Then, wait for an opportunity to make a run for it. Since you broke the chain near your arm, you'll only have to drag a few links with you, rather than the entire chain.

Alright, here is how this works: Choose a character to play as, and I'll draw out what you're doing. Two of them are currently in stories, the threads of which you can find bellow, one is still open to be made.

Sometimes a roll will be required - this will require a 2d100, first roll deciding whose roll I take, second the value, and it will always be opposed.

Alright, you are Charles "Charley" Chambers and you yesterday you witnessed a truly grotesque abomination in the bowels of the factory you're a security guard of.

Now you're sitting on the computer, having done some research into what that mass of flesh and metal might be, and most recently have decided to look for other job opportunities in case whatever you've seen destroys your current work place.

Troglodyte master race
>>

This is an easy one to make a premise for. Primitive Trog Tribe emerges, either in a crevice in the Underdark, or in a small surface cave. The tribe sets about raiding, looting, and swelling into a mighty Warband. Battles with local forces for dominion, with the Chieftain, constantly battling with challenges to maintain dominance.

Could be good fun for a low-fantasy, hard-mode civilization, trying to survive harsh conditions while being attacked on all sides.

You are the TEMPLAR, a holy knight sent to clear the frontier of monsters and heresy!

Currently, you had just defeated a massive spider and gotten a very neat magic bow out of the deal, which also had the unforeseen consequence of giving Morgan wolf-like features.

Changes, you have to admit, you weren't completely opposed to.

However, you had something else on your plate. Apparently, a girl named Niko claiming to be a princess has approached you for help, further claiming that bandits were after her. All she was asking was that you provide enough of a distract to allow her to escape the Ruin undetected.

Quite an odd and slightly suspicious request.

"I don't know about this." Morgan mumbles, her new wolf ears twitching.

"Let's help her! It sounds fun!" Nino says happily.

"As long as she pays up front." Naru shrugs.

"Well? So what do ya say?" Niko grins.

The day is finally here. After years of struggle against the Vannai, the surface of the Earth has been won back. However they still have their grip on the orbitals of Earth.Their mothership is waiting, they’ve had 3 years to build up its defences, and time is on their side. Your mission now is to smash through their lines and defeat them once and for all.

The jumpoff point for the mission is at the Electromagnetic Launch System at Ayer’s Rock. On the way in you can see a large rocket attached to the launch gantry. A large contingent of TE members are working on something at the tip. In front of you is the commanding officer for the mission.

Valkyrie: “W-Welcome everyone, we don’t have a lot of time so let’s begin.”
Othinus: <Everyone here? Sound off.>
>>Post builds now. First 8 with legal builds are in. Tag ins are allowed. Please use pastebins if possible.

<Alright looks like everyone’s here.>
“Right, your mission today is to assault the Vannai mothership currently sitting on the Moon’s terminator. The plan is to breach and board using the rocket behind me.”
<You may be wondering about the Vannai spaceborne defences. There is a plan to deal with that but it’s only good for the trip there. Unless you deal with the motherships this is going to be one-way.>
“The escape route is the rocket you’re going to ride in on. Try not to do anything stupid to it.”

“Thats everything, begin boarding now and I’ll answer any questions you have while you get locked in.”

Welcome to Another Dragon Ball Quest ™ , a quest all about a young kid in the world of Dragon Ball and their involvement in many of the series iconic events. From Radditz to Beerus, there's no telling how far you'll go, or at least how long you can last till you get sent to another dimension!
>How do we play?
This quest functions like any other, options on what to do are brought up, using A,B,C,D, etc, and everyone of YOU votes on what you'd like the character to do. Write-In's are encouraged!
Also, we will be using a system I've seen SOM(Another great DBZ Quest Maker) use recently. For easy tasks, such as fighting normal humans or doing mundane chores, you'll roll a d20, for normal tasks such as fighting opponents who are of equal or slightly higher strength, or trying to pull off more difficult moves, you'll roll a d50, and for hard tasks, like fighting people who are much stronger than you, or fighting multiple opponents at once that have an equal strength to you, you'll roll a d100.
>Do you use Bo3 or Bo5?
Neither, I find that Best of 3 is too cruel sometimes, and that Best of 5 is too lenient. So we'll be doing a Best of 4. That means the first 4 rolls are the only ones that count, and that the highest number rolled will be the one used.
>So what kind of character will we be able to make?
You'll be playing as a young, non-human child around the same age as Gohan was at the beginning of DBZ.
>Wait, we don't get to decide if we want to play a regular human or a dog president?
Not exactly, while you'll be deciding some backstory traits and how you'll be starting this adventure off, I've realized that my limitations as a QM mean I have a hard time working with a completely group created character, so think of this as me throwing you a template that you can mess around with.
>How do we get stronger? We have to fight Raditz one on one with our eyes closed!
Increasing your Power Level is simple. Every once and a while I'll have you roll a d50, and the higher you roll the higher your power increases. For instance, rolling a 1-9 means you only increased your power by ten, while rolling a 40-49 means you increased your power by 80, and a solid 50 woul've increased it by 160. So basically it doubles each tier.
>Are we a boy or a girl?
Girl
>Are you sticking completely to cannon or can we change things?
Your actions affect the world, who's the say whether or not Vegeta leaves Earth alive like in the manga, or if Chaouzu ends up the strongest Earthling. Anything can happen.

After leaving the Otherworld Market wit ha substantial amount of Zenni you all followed up on Raijin's gracious offer and chowed down on some delicious burgers, the place somehow finding room for your giant thunder god friend. It came as a surprise to the others when you revealed that this was your first ever burger, and that soon got a conversation that let everyone reveal a bit more about themselves. You want to ask Krillin and Chiaotzu why they both lack noses, but that feels like a conversation for another day. Instead you learn about all of their previous adventures, the biggest surprise is the fact that both of them died before.

"Buh how'd you comb bag?" You ask through a mouth full of delicious burger.

"Dragon Balls." Krillin answers, digging into his own burger. "Seriously, if we didn't have those things I bet we'd have a hell of a lot tougher time right now."

"Language." You frown, causing Krillin to choke on his burger.

"Actually," Chiaotzu cuts in, patting Krillin on the back. "I've been thinking about it, why don't we just use the Dragon Balls to wish the Saiyans into a sun or explode or something?"

"Wouldn't work," Raijin says, licking his lips as he happily devours one of his thirteen burgers. Geez. "Dragon's only as strong as the one controlling it, and Kami isn't strong enough to handle the Saiyans."

"But he's strong enough to bring people back from the dead?" You ask.

Raijin is silent, frowning at the question. "...it's complicated."

You wanna' ask some more questions, but a commotion near the front of the store grabs your attention. There looks to be a crowd of people gathering around, with lots of camera flashes going off. "Huh, wonder what's going on over there?" You ponder out loud. You get your answer pretty soon.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Champ is here!" A man in a brown and white gi smirks in the middle of the crowd of people, all of them trying to either get his autograph or snag a picture. You notice he's wearing a white cape too, and suddenly wish you had one as well. The man runs his fingers through his large afro, eventually winking and pointing some finger guns at one of the lady reporters and causing her to faint. Such power. "That's right, winner of twenty martial arts tournaments and certified black belt in every single form of physical combat known to man, Mister Satan is in the house!"

"Mister Satan could we have a word please?"
"Mister Satan is it true you believe you'll be taking the Tenkaichi Budokai easily this year?"
"Mister Satan, do the rumors about you and Madona hold any truth!?"

"Oh please," Krillin snorts, leaning back in his seat and sipping on his soda. "Like that guy would last a second with Goku in the ring."

"Well, he might win it this year." Chiaotzu says. "With all of us off training for the Saiyans there's not gonna' be a lot of strong competitors for him to fight against."

"Hmmm." Raijin stares at Mister Satan for a moment, finishing off the last of his burgers. "Shame, if he applied himself he might be a fearsome warrior. As it is he's just slightly above the peak of human endurance and strength."

>A. "I don't know, he seems pretty cool to me!"
>B. Sense for Mister Satan's power
>C. "I'm gonna' go say hi!"
>D. Eat your burger Saff
>E. "He seems like he'd be a jerk to be honest."
>F. Write in
(Multiple choices are fine, write-ins encouraged.

The choking heat of the great desert whirls over you in waves, sweat beading and rolling down your calloused, roughening skin. You pull your white, native robes around yourself more tightly, and call out in a hoarse voice for the caravaneer to set a faster pace. The thin covering of the cart, linen over a wooden wagon, does not stop the heat of the wind, and the four attendants with you in the cart are bowed and exhausted, not used to the local heat. You feel the cool jade icon on your neck, and take some solace in its presence, reaching down under your inner tunic, past the rich reds and greens of your silk mantling and collar. The icon lies, half the size of your palm, hanging on a silver chain around your neck, engraved with the characters for Jade and Commander. It is this icon, stamped in the imperial mint centuries ago when the fortification of the jade gate was constructed under Huang-Di (Emperor) Wu, that grants you your right to command these attendants and to command the garrison of the jade gate. With it, you are able to commandeer resources from those servants indentured to the Garrison and to order the troops therein to do as you command.

Without it, you are nothing but a traveller stranded in the trackless desert. You check the chain over and over again, before returning the jade icon to its place under your robes. You remember vividly the ceremonial bestowment of the icon, in the distant capital at Liaoyang. You remember the pungent incense of the dragon throne, the gentle slash of silk against fine marble, and the stern, powerful eyes of the Grand Secretary as the old man stepped down from beside the silent emperor Taizong to place the silver chain around your kneeling neck. You were at first amazed to have received the appointment, a young noble from an undistinguished, impoverished clan, chosen, seemingly at random, and elevated from a simple aide to a third rank general to the Prefect of the Jade Gate. You had never even heard of such a place, and you even suspected it to be a joke until you were dispatched to the far west, where the plains shift into the beginnings of the ravenous, crag dotted Anxi desert.

You have been travelling for three months since you left the capital, and you have spent two of those months in the barren desert of the Gansu corridor, the tiny strip of nominally controlled land connecting the Empire to its most distant outpost. You are without a map, relying on your Turgesh guide to lead you across his homeland to the Jade Gate. He was paid well, but you can never truly trust the barbarians, least of all the nomad Turgesh. Trickery is their very nature, as they plunder and reave on horseback across the north. The Emperor may pretend to have subjugated them, but their raids continue as they always have, prompting you to bring a short blade with you, concealed under your long robe.

You feel the wagon pause, and lean out, feeling again the beating heat of the desert, redoubled under the open sky.

Another caravan is coming towards your own, a short distance away. Your guide looks to you for orders. Traders are common on the road, but the same is to be said for bandits. Perhaps you may procure supplies or information. Or perhaps you'll be faced by the great bows of the Turgesh.

>What are your orders?
>Set a fast pace, and attempt to ride straight past the other caravan. If it is Turgesh, it will hardly have time to turn and chase you down.
>Stay still, prepare your weaponry, and be ready for a fight or a trade, as circumstances dictate.

You’re almost ready to begin the plan that will (hopefully) net you control of the Soul Inferno. Your minions are in place, and all you need to do now is wait for the window of opportunity that Niazach discovered. Well, almost. There is one small, tiny problem that you have every right to be worried about. Right now, while you’re sitting here slowly smouldering as you're wont to do, both Usha and Feva are engaged in the worst kind of combat imaginable: that of words and high society…

~~~From Feva’s Perspective~~~
Things seemed to be going so well at first. Sure, Usha probably should have been the one to fake being Lady Desoleum at the Captain’s party… thing, but other than that you haven’t blown your cover. But then you had the dreadful misfortune of running into someone from every heretic’s nightmare: a member of the Inquisition, more specifically, a full blown Inquisitor.
You’re no social butterfly. In fact, you’re probably the second worst individual on this ship at it after Ember. You’re far more eloquent with your fists and with your spear. But, seeing as how you don’t have the latter, and the former would jeopardize your facade, you’ll need to come up with some other way to survive this encounter. And soon, before you lose control of your arm’s illusion from all the stress.
If you’re a die-hard lover of canon, I suggest you turn away now. Like all things 40k, the gauntlet runs from “worshiping the printed, grimdark word” to “over the top silliness.” Most of the time it’s somewhere in between. Others it swerves hard to one side and/or breaks this model entirely. You’ve been warned in advance. I do try to keep things fairly reasonable though.
Alternatively, if you’re not at all familiar with canon or want more details on something, just ask! You don’t need to have played the original Khornette Quest to play and enjoy this one. I’m sure someone (or I) will explain any cameos that come up if you’re lost.
All rolls go against a specified characteristic in the style of Black Crusade. You’ll want to roll under the characteristic value in order to pass the check. The more degrees of success (every multiple of 10 counts as 1), the more awesome of a result. A 1 or an 8 is a guaranteed success, and a 100 is a guaranteed failure. NPCs I roll for only crit succeed/fail on a 1 or a 100.
Best of three rolls when it’s called for, with a 1, 8, or a 100 instantly taking precedence. If multiple characteristics are being rolled for each 1d100 counts for its respective test. Any rolls prior to the call for one and those not linking said post will be ignored.
I realize that /qst/ is much slower than /tg/ ever was, but I’d like to keep things moving. Voting windows will be a maximum of twenty to thirty minutes after the first vote. Same goes for dice rolling. This week we’re going to try running Thursday afternoon (now) until 9:30pm EDT, Friday afternoon until about 8pm EDT, and Saturday afternoon until either we reach a good stopping point or I get tired of writing.
Note that we are temporarily playing as Feva here at the beginning of the thread!
That’s it housekeeping-wise for now. Onto the quest!
“Lady Desoleum, I am Inquisitor Ervig. And you and I are going to discuss exactly why your planet is now scheduled for Exterminatus.”
Time slows to a halt as your brain processes Ervig’s words. I’m fucked, you think. There’s no way he doesn’t know what the real Lady Desoleum looks like. But no, wait. If he does, why is he addressing you as if you were the genuine article? Is he just playing along? Or… maybe… he doesn’t know? And what does he mean he wants to “discuss why Desoleum is scheduled for Exterminatus?” Is he here to execute you for failing to keep the planet in order? Yes, that must be it. There’s no way he’s just making a social call to say “better luck next time, let’s get you a new planet to rule.”
...right?
“...do you understand?”
Ervig speaking to you snaps you back into the present. The heavily scarred, hooded and cloaked Inquisitor is staring at you with not quite a look of concern. You’re guessing you were silent just a bit too long there. You need to say something now, and it has to sound good.
Welcome back to Slasher Villain Quest, you are an undead killer known to the locals as "Molar" or "the Miner." Your sole purpose has always been to act as a plot device for the main characters to overcome in the generic slasher movies you star in. But unlike most such villains you decided to break free from convention and forge your own path instead of going strictly by a script.
Summary of what happened previously:
>Your actions at the forest were investigated by Oregon's state government. They found no trace of you and ended up concluding that the teenagers camping at the forest had caused the wildfire, leaving you free to continue operating in the area.
>You ended up killing a hunter and scaring his dog shitless before looting his possessions and consuming parts of the corpse for nourishment.
>After nightfall you decided to pay a visit to the nearby town of Ashton to remind the population of the fact that you're not a mere creation of folklore but a deadly force capable of killing them even where they least expect it.
>While at Ashton you came across the neighborhood where your former childhood bullies used to live and decided to take revenge on whoever was still around for the torment you suffered so long ago.
>You found the house of one of your bullies, broke in and decided that you would make him suffer before killing him
At present you're still at the basement deciding on what you wish to do to Dennis, your victim.
So far there have been several ideas that have popped into your head but you haven't quite decided on which one to start just yet I don't want to list all of them here since some of them are quite gruesome, you can check them for yourself at the previous thread.
You have to decide on what you want to do with him soon, otherwise he will just black out from the pain of having two busted kneecaps again.
>Write-in either a summary or if you feel like it a full description on what you want to do with Dennis. Or vote for the ones suggested in the previous thread
I'm sticking to the "trim the fat" then hanging after pulling all his teeth out. It's fitting that way.
Also cut down all the children and lay them on the ground. Maybe use the guy's phone to call emergency and then leave? We might be a slasher force of nature, but even we doubt these children did anything to deserve the shit that happened to them. Hell, we might have a few fond memories of the other miners bringing their kids over for barbeque or something nice, back when we were alive. All the more reason to fuck the guy up, at least.
Drives light up the night throughout the Chapterhouse as singular ships and newly-formed task forces alike boost for the system's jump points. After your short conversation with Abbot Zusya, you had several hours to make sure your reactor mass was topped up and your magazines loaded before new orders came through- not that he actually bothered to speak to you, as the Order's newest Knight-Brother. It grates a little, but as you pass the orbit of the gas giant and ping off a courtesy message to Shipmaster Flavius, you take your time examining each of the ships in your squadron.
Abbot Zusya takes front and centre, of course, entombed in his Behemoth-class Battleship. As befitting an AI of his rank, his ship has over two dozen automated escort vessels flying in close formation, from corvettes to frigates to destroyers. Though they pack comparatively smaller engines and anti-ship weaponry, their point defenses and torpedo tubes give the ship they escort a comfortably higher weight of fire. On each flank is a Knight-Brother in a Vanguard-class cruiser, each with their own smaller squadron of escort vessels. You've never met them before, and they didn't bother introducing themselves to you. The real attraction, however, is Knight-Brother Rubin. He was stationed in the Chapterhouse during your formative year, and he went out of his way to assist you in your ship handling training. It's good to see him again, but even so, it's what he's flying you find particularly interesting. He told you it's another of Flavius' prototypes, something he calls a Longbow-class Railgun Cruiser. It's almost as long as Abbot Zusya, but far thinner. As far you can tell it's essentially just a giant gun fitted onto some ammunition storage and an engine. Like the other ships, he rates an escort squadron almost as thick as Abbot Zusya's.
And then, of course, there's you- newly-minted Knight-Brother Dauntless, in your equally newly-minted body: a prototype stealth destroyer. You don't have your own escort squadron, since that would somewhat defeat the point, but you do carry four experimental antimatter pulse tubes, and are eager to put them to the test. Unfortunately, God isn't always as eager to give you what you want.
"Our mission," Zusya tells your squadron barely an hour from the jump point at the system's heliopause, "Is to conduct recon in force through half a dozen inhabited systems thought to be within the Legion's area of advance." A shudder runs through your deckplates as you imagine the Legion, as one Knight-Brother termed them, literally reducing inhabited planets to a loose, dying sphere of their drones. "Are there any questions?"
Choose three:
>What will your role be?
>Terms of engagement?
>What if you find survivors?
>Will there be any other Order ships joining your later?
>Will you have to stay with the squadron the entire time?
>Writein?
You're not sure if you should speak up at first, but luckily Rubin is the one to speak. "What if we find the Legion attacking an inhabited world? And if there are survivors?"
"We'll intervene, of course." Zusya replies, as if it's a gracious favour and not, surely, your sworn duty. "Unfortunately, I don't think we'll find survivors. The preliminary data shown to me by the Grand Master," There's the slightest emphasis on 'me', now that you think about it, "Suggests that the Legion are obsessed with wiping out all the life they can find, human or otherwise. Of course, if we somehow find any, we'll provide succour." He adds, almost as an afterthought.
You mull this over, but since nobody else seems inclined to add anything, you speak up. "So what will my role be, Abbot?"
It feels as though the Abbot is unsure himself. "You will... go and scout ahead, Knight-Brother Dauntless. You did state yourself you suitability for ambushing the enemy, did you not?"
"Of course, Abbot. What will my terms of engagement be?" Honestly, it seems like you're being gotten rid of.
"You may use your own judgement. You're not a coward, are you? Put these abominations to the sword. I'm sending you all our patrol path now, in case anybody happens to get lost."
>Burn hard for the jump point, get to the patrol route far ahead of your squadron to make sure there's no surprises.
>Stay with your squadron, and go on ahead just before you reach the patrol route. You don't want to get strung out ahead.
The sanguinary struggle for control of the Koornacht cluster was nearly over, just a few weeks after Alana's smashing victory at the Battle of Aradia. Admiral Lobkin's forces has smashed any sort of organized resistance the Yevetha mounted, toward the end, before the Battle of N'zoth they had restored to more and more desperate tactics. All for nothing. Their capital world was in ruins, their colony worlds were sterilized of all Yevethan life, and already some were being resettled by human colonists, just as soon as the fires from orbital bombardment were extinguished.
Now all that remained was to hunt down the last, dangerous remnants of the Yevethan Navy and Black Fleet, including the Super Star Destroyer Intimidator . . .
I allow between ten and twenty minutes for voting depending on the importance of the issue and how divided the vote is. If the vote is tied up, I usually allow an extra five minutes for a tie breaker, and if no one votes, I roll for the tie breaker (The will of the dark side).
I always try to incorporate (and encourage!) write ins if they don't violate the spirit of voted decisions, though I may edit or tweak them to fit better.
I also am always open for questions. I'll just ask that they stay relevant to current events in the quest, or at least the near future.
Serpentine's bridge is hardly any different than your own command deck on Retribution, alive with activity, officers and crew carrying out routine tasks and maintenance needed to keep a technological terror like an Imperial-Class Star Destroyer operational.
In your own division, such repairs were taking place "night" and "day" as your crew struggled to keep abreast of the damage doled out by the Yevetha as their navy melted away to nothing. Reinforcements in the form of more fighters from storage, mothballed as it were on Cal-Seti, and a new batch of picket ships, fresh from the shipyards at Foerost had helped to ease some of the burden, but such combat intensive operations were always a strain.
As you pass, crew scramble out of your way, some giving you hasty salutes, but you only have eyes for the reason for your visit here. Silas Lobkin, Baron of Brentaal and Admiral of the forces you served in. He was impossible to miss with his jaunty cape and cavalier attitude. He certainly seemed in better spirits than he was when he first briefed you and his other flag officers on this mission, the tremendous success the Empire had enjoyed so far certainly had something to do with that.
As you approach, you see him deep in discussion with Commander Flesser, leader of 1st Division. A bald man with a heavily scarred face. You had heard it rumored his command was shot out from under him at Endor, resulting in the injuries you saw now. You didn't know Flesser before this moment, but you could tell that incident had done nothing to help his personality.
Stopping just a short distance away, you wait patiently for Lobkin to finish his conversation. It isn't long before he notices you. "Commander Tyrna," he says, a genuine smile on his face.
As you approach, he dismisses Flesser, who gives you a baleful glance before marching away.
"I know I said it before, but let me say again, your division acquitted itself admirably at N'zoth. You are truly an asset to the Navy."
"Thank you, admiral." Lobkin was something of an enigma to you. You couldn’t tell how much of his praise, and treatment of you in general was flattery and how much was sincere praise. There was also the thinly concealed element of attraction to you, at least partly physical. Even now, he can't help but cast a quick glance down at your body.
You had once shared a private dinner with him, though nothing had come of it. He had remained mostly professional, and entirely gentlemanly. Again you were uncertain how much of his behavior was sincere flirting and how much was social alliance-building.
"You came in an outsider," Lobkin continues, leading you on a slow pace of the bridge as he talks, "and you've managed to forge your division into a cohesive fighting unit, not without difficulty I assume."
"It's always hard to take control of a new ship and new group of subordinates," you reply, "I just hope my reputation speaks for itself."
"I'm sure it does," Lobkin says, stopping at the forward-most point of the bridge, the ashy, smoking surface of N-zoth visible behind him, a fresh trio of bulk freighters rising from the surface, most likely packed to the brim with Yevethan prisoners bound for the shipyards at Byss. "Our job here is nearly done," he says, "And I'm sure the Emperor is going to be most pleased with our performance, but there is one last matter to deal with."
"Sir?"
"Intelligence reports are coming in on enemy causality counts. We've been comparing them to Black Fleet's ship roster."
"And we're coming up short," you say. You know the answer before he gives it because of one glaring short coming.
"We're missing Intimidator and a pair of Star Destroyers, not to mention a handful of escort ships," Lobkin says.
"A whole battlegroup," you reply. Centered on a Super Star Destroyer no less.
"Precisely. Intimidator is not accounted for, and she is likely in hiding nearby. Until we've dealt with her, we can't assume this area is pacified by any stretch. To that end, I am dispersing the fleet to scour the surrounding systems until we locate her."
"To destroy her?" you ask.
"If need be, yes. While I would love more than anything to present an Executor-class to the Emperor as a gift, we have to assume this will be impossible. I'm giving you a wide leeway," he says, "I trust your judgement, Ala- Commander."
"Thank you, admiral."
"Do you have any questions for me before we disperse?"
>Yes (Write in)
>No, admiral
