Reminder that THIS destroys the domestic pickups in reliability.
How? This baby surpassed 1 million miles without breaking a sweat with it's ORIGINAL GAS ENGINE. Yet fools still buy unreliable Fords, Chevys, and Rams.

Silly domesticuck, they removed the screws from the bed just to rig this test.
I wrecked my first car. A 2017 WRX sti.In the end of April i experienced my first race on a windy road around curvy corners and hair pins thats surrounded by barns and open fields, after that i become 100% dedicated and addicted to become better at handeling my car.I raced my car every night after work for a month and a half on that same road and for 3 weeks i went to the mountains and got better fast but before I knew it I flew into a corner way to fast. The car flew off the mountain side. I used what little control I had after a 30ft drop to avoid the trees. The car was trashed, it was declared a total loss.

what is it about the wrx sti that it seems to attract complete retards like OP?
>I wrecked my first car. A 2017 WRX sti
...And people wonder why the insurance on those pieces of shit is $7k a year.
>>17591729
How mad were your parents?
Would it be legal to buy this and drive it around the ghetto at night flashing my spotlight at people? Seems like it would be a good time. It has bulletproof windows so I think I would be ok.
>>17591686
use it to buy dimebags of weed from people on the street

Dude that's so cool, it's like you're a real cop!

Well Mr. Tapeloop, it's because you don't have a chicken posted next to your C7. That is your C7, right? It wouldn't be a stock photo off the internet, now? You do have your money where your mouth is?
>that's your car anon? It looks too small for a guy. Chad has a Mercedes and he lives in a nice condo downtown

so go fuck Chad you gold digging cunt. I'll be fucking Steve

I live with my mom and have 2 cars.
Well, watch as Chad pays extra for his oil change and any other kind of maintenance. Kias are problem free, and could outlast Chad's nazi mobile.
Obsessed with the famous yellow rocketbunny: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/08/0e/77/080e77139967112d4e2c8a0cfaca7a68.jpg
I would like to replicate the look of this rocketbunny on my Z but I need help identifying the setup. Is that the radiator sticking out of the front bumper? Also, how did the bumper get that air intake slot on it; is that an easy modification? Lastly, does anyone know what hood they are using? Thanks!!
>>17596218
If you want your car to look like that, eat a gun.
>Is that the radiator sticking out of the front bumper?
That's an oil cooler. Not that he would actually need it but because it's "so JDM" to have the oil lines running outside the body
>how did the bumper get that air intake slot on it;
Like most things, he probably cut a hole in it and built a rubber gasket
>>17596226
lol what's wrong with it?
Why does everyone think the original NSX was some analog hero?
I’ll tell you why. Because Honda was lazy AF and neglected the NSX for over a decade during which it saw no appreciable upgrades to its powertrain. Yeah, it got more displacement, but horsepower went largely unchanged. So everybody forgot that it was once a techno-showcase with variable valve timing, a V6 that made V8 power, and a lightweight aluminum chassis.
Instead everyone remembers it as as that oddball early-90's time capsule being sold through the mid-2000's. And guess what? Nobody bought it because it was hopelessly outdated and woefully underperforming. But like all fallen celebrities, everyone suddenly learned to love it after it died.
Newsflash, the new NSX is another crazy techno-showcase like it’s father that offers 918 Spyder technology for 911 Turbo money.
>>17596161
The old NSX sold especially like shit in Europe and the new NSX will likely break its sales record.
easily the most overrated of the big Japanese sports cars
I think most of its fans are annoying BRs who like it because Senna
the new one is one of the most underrated
I found a Kia dealer that's selling a 2017 Kia Soul base model in black (like pic related), 6 speed automatic, for $12,995.
Is this a good buy? Brand new, Kia's 10 year powertrain warranty, etc.
Wrong pic kek
>>17596016
Don't know about reliability but I will say they are the only of the box mobiles that isn't dog shit ugly. Go for it Unless something feels sketchy on your test drive. Asfor the price, The dealership is probably just trying to knock out inventory for the 2018s.

Why are they hated by some people?
Because they don't have direct injection
>>17594659
Domesticucks.
>>17594659
They send power to the wrong wheels.
hey /o/ can you guys help me
my steering wheel shakes when I brake, mostly in low, city speeds. i replaced the discs and brake pads and it didn't go away.
what else can i check?
Does the car have direct injection?
maybe... the steering components?
check for loose tie rods.

Likelihood in order imo. Other anons pitch in.
>Alignment.
>Properly bled brakes.
>Are you wheels aftermarket? If so do you have hub centric rings?
>Balanced wheels.
>ABS sensor.
>ABS module.

First for Hane a best.
Second for Honda a shit
Hey /o/ I need some advice
I have a na miata shitbox that I really like but it's slow because of that n/a 1.6
I'm starting to get more into cars and I want something a bit faster. Currently I'm stuck between three options:
Comfy shitbox option
I buy something like a Buick roadmaster or Volvol 240 as a daily and put a flyin miata turbo kit on it once I get the drivetrain set up for the power (Ive got a pretty good grasp of what I need to get to make the miata fast, just not sure if it's worth it)
Motorcycle option
I buy a little 250cc motorcycle to drive around while I'm doing things like clutch work and stuff. I wouldn't mind dailying a motorcycle desu. With this option miata still gets the turbo build, ideally pushing 250hp if my roads could take it. This option is the cheapest option since I really wouldn't want to spend more than like 1200$ on a motorcycle
Sporty shitbox option
I buy a Craigslist rx7 or 240sx (my favorite cars I could realistically afford) and fix it up. Miata stays stock and I keep it as a reliable daily.
I could afford any one of these even tho I'm a college fag because I work a decent job full time
What do /o/?
>>17594234
the 36 confirms OP is a faggot.
I'm biased but having a bike just for a different commuting experience is fantastic.
It also makes you a better driver, both offensively and defensively.
>>17594234
Jesus Christ my grammar is atrocious, in the first paragraph I'm putting the fm kit on the miata not the comfy shitbox
>made in china
that panel gap tho
and that's on one I assume they cared about since its at a car show
wait, its a cute! gtr
That's actually pretty well done
>one of these people are overcompensating
A/C has been pumping cold air for only a minute or so before failing to remain cool for the last year or so. Finally got it looked at and they said the air compressor's PSI was low. Everything I read says if the PSI is low you just add refrigerant, but they told me I would need to replace the compressor and it will set me back about $1200. I know nothing about air compressors. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
>should I try the $20 fix that perfectly matches my problem, or go straight for the $1200 ripoff
Just take it to the shop before you blow up your shit
>>17594093
You probably have a leak in your refrigerant system. A crack near the bottom lines, from a rock or scraping a curb or someshit.
In my experience, compressors are over-engineered, 10kg fucking abominations with their own drive chain and shit and are rarely the points of failure for an A/C system. You could probably scrape one out of a junkyard in a salt lake in Siberia and it'd work okay. What fails are the seals and lines.
I could'nt tell you how to service those. I just removed the whole system and rolled my windows down.
But I know it's typically a tiny crack or bad seal, a cross threaded part, a bad valve stem, ect. It's almost never the compressor.
Ask your mechanic why they think it's the compressor.

Good info to know thanks boys. I've got another guy looking at it now who said my first estimate was full of shit. Will update as soon as I know.
