What should I keep in mind? I am getting an beginner 373cc bike as it's my first . Plus I get bored with a thing quiet easily so decided to buy a entry level then buy I bigger displacement bike when I feel I am done with the bike. The bike I bought is ktm rc390.
Pic related the bike I booked.
>>17587723
Did you buy the beginner bike with the higher priced parts and maintenance on purpose?
>>17587723
enjoy your poo in the poo loo bike
>>17587735
I bought the bike stock. There are no higher priced or aftermarket parts.
How easy/dangerous is this? I've had it with slow faggots in my way on one or two-lane roads
It's easy and fairly safe is the shoulder is clear of debris.
Just don't do it around the bolis.
do it around the bolis dont listen to bitch pussies

Best bikes to turn into cafe racers?
I am thinking of building a cafe racer out of a cb500 four from the 70's or an old yamaha gs400.

Is chevy really that bad? I only hear bad things about them, but I really like how their cars look
Have a cruze. It's not bad. Not too shabby. It's not special, it's beige, but it hasn't broken down. It's garbage in the snow.
>>17586277
Im in cali, so snow is not part of my day to day
>>17586290
It'll do ok. It's no Toyota, it'll probably break more than that, but it's no chrysler. It's built somewhat well, and it has an OK warranty. A bu will probably be the same.
Tldr, pic.
Seriously how the fuck do you get into professional racing anything?
I'm becoming severely depressed as nothing excites me on this planet except driving like I don't give a shit if I die
And then I research research and research some more only to find sob stories of people who started in kart racing then miracoulously make it to the big times HOW?
Because that's pretty much how people make it - doing kart racing and junior leagues from a young age, nailing sponsors, and being successful. Also not dying at it. You probably missed your chance.

Git gud fag boy

This. If you're parents don't push you towards it as a child, you'll probably never be able to do it. Especially if you're like me and don't live near anything but drag strips. It sucks pretty hard.

Looks pretty good to me.
I... kinda want one /o/. The hell is wrong with me? Talk me out of putting a pre-order in for one...

only suckers buy technology brand new, you're going to be paying to be tesla's beta tester and when they release a better version you'll be kicking yourself
>>17582425
You should get one. It's a good investment. The advanced cruise control features alone are worth the price. Just make sure you factor in the higher than average insurance costs before committing.
I recently bought a used 2002 Acura RSX, and I love it to death.
But I feel as though I may be too attached / paranoid of anyone else driving it, i literally yelled at my mother for taking it to the grocery store because my sister had taken her car to work.
I also used my moms car a lot prior owning this car.
My sister (who isn't a bad driver however is shit at parking) is asking if she can use it for a few minutes to go to the mall.
Even though I probably know she'll take care of it and not abuse it.
I'm still worried of something happening that will absolutely ruin the car. Keep in mind it's in good condition etc.
Even though I started drifting in it and also put in an exhaust, she asked if i will ever let her drive my car
Am i paranoid or what
>>17582384
>mom took it to the grocery store.
why did she have the keys
tell me more about the drifting
should have bought a manual
Whats /o/s opinion on the Hyundai Veloster Turbo? I'm not looking for anything crazy, Just something that's better than my current hatch (MK1 Focus). I've been looking around and I can get one of these with 30k miles on them for about 12-13k for a 2014-2015.
Anyone know any other cars in that price range with low miles that would be worth actually getting?
FiST
>>17581596
I thought about a FiST, but they want 17-20k for used ones in my area.
>>17581594
Hyundai still wasn't there yet
It's an alright car
People whose cars have died "naturally," how did it die?
Not talking accidents but mechanical failure.
Pic related, 99 TL tranny shit itself at 210k mi.
Just get a used one for $600 and get it dropped in
My '94 Civic couldn't handle repeated abuse from drunk driving. RIP

it was my first car and I've had it since my senior year of high school. I'm out of college with a better job and I think I'll just get a newer lexus IS or something.

What's the point of buying a performance car if you can only go fast on tracks? And nobody say 0-60 times, slamming the pedal gets old after a week and just wastes gas. Face the facts /o/, the sportiest car you can justify buying is a Miata or an mr2

You think posting this opinion is "contrarian", but most people here will agree with you. They all drive $3k Civics with manuals.
It's ALWAYS more fun to driver a slow car fast, than to drive a fast car slow.
My boss drives a Maserati and it feels like you're going 55 mph when you're actually going 90. You're never pushing the limits of the vehicle so it's never fun. I have more fun in my coworker's 2005 Accord manual.
Performance cars are for people looking to flaunt their money. That's pretty much it.
