My parents are putting $2000 ontop of my $3000 to get me a car if I decide to move back home and commute to school.

My pap says it has to be at least from 2000, and reliable. He mentioned for some reason that he can get a leaf for 7.5g, so he probably wouldnt be ok with anything too sporty.

Any suggestions? This would be my first car. I'm reading the sticky rn. I like wagons and there are a few here in the seattle area on craigslist, but im open to anything.

Hey /o/ this is my first time losting here, ever. Looking for a comfy luxury car that has a lot of style. I realize that What I want in a vehicle isnt speed, but I dont want a simple "point A to point B" car.
Ive busted my ass over the last year to save up $10,000, and I've finay hit my mark.

I want a car that is timelessly sexy, comfy as fuck, reliable, not impossible to fix, and overall is classy as fuck? Leather seats, wood grain, rides like a cloud, but doesnt look like i stole i stole ir from an old woman.

Does such a car like this exist in this price range? Just any luxury car that's mostly depreciated that I can find for that price? I also find classic muscle to have the same "timeless class" look i want in a car. Hope this thread doesnt flop.

Why the fuck are these pieces of shit so unreliable? You literally cannot find one that doesn't have a shit ton of one star reviews.

I ended up ordering a $5 Philips one off of eBay, and of course it didn't work out of the box so I spent hours trying every way of fixing this thing and I never got it to work.

So are there any cassette adapters you guys recommend? I'm too poor for a new head unit.

Pic related, my brand new multi-thousand dollar motor custom install. Or at least it was until...

Meanwhile my grandfather is in the hospital and this is the engine he gave me before he fell ill.

So the question is, do I kill my mechanic or just pour sugar in his gas tank? I'm at my wits fucking end here how does a mechanic tell you to drive your truck home with no oil

What are the European and American equivalents of this car?

I'm having a hard time thinking of proper analogues. The right answers should be from around the turn of the millenium but still ahead of their time, should be sports cars that share their underpinnings with mundane family cars, sit in the sub-$50,000 price range, would exhibit a similarly subtle, understated muscular shape, and should exist in a cloud of hype that they can't possibly live up to.

I work at an insurance auction in the northwest. Hundreds of cars come through here every day to be sold for parts. Some of these are pretty dangerous to work with (heroin addicts leaving needles in the car, blood splatters, sharp shit in general). Thankfully we do most of the handling with fuckhuge Volvo fork-trucks.
