If this isn't bait. I'm afraid to say that I don't think there is much hope for you here. Your mother sees it as an 'unsafe death contraption' and wants you in something with a rear view camera and the thickest A pillars money can buy. so i got my license recently and dont even have work yet, but im already looking around for a car, so i have a goal to archive. problem is, im over 2m big and i dont fit into a lot of cars. so i have some cars in my "list" and i just want to know, if any of you are also that big and know if you fit into one of the following cars:
subaru svx / honda civic typeR (2nd gen), skyline r32 gtr, toyota supra, subaru impreza wrx sti, Clio v6
if you know a sporty car, where i can maybe fit in, let me know.

My ex-boyfriend was 6'5.
Try to find a Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo. The headroom is amazing. Pic is the Turbo S. 1.8L 20 valve turbo, 6 speed manual, 180 HP, and amazing aftermarket support.
I don't think you would fit terribly well in the other cars (well except maybe the Skyline. You'd probably fit in that)

The radio is fucked. I can enter in the ECU code (because it wont even turn on after battery change.) I dial the volume and it makes some speakers short out when dialing. I can hit bridges, go over railroad tracks etc with np, only when touching the dial
Time to retire the oem bmw radio? I hate too... but if thats what is needed then I guess you gotta do what you gotta do
