Has there been any news on the Nissan IDx?
>>14692068
They killed it. And it's your fault.

This is what happens when bean counters are put in charge of everything. Nissan/Renault's CEO is a bean counter.

This is why we can't have nice things.

>Accountants want the business to make money
Wow literally nobody saw that coming
I need to prove to some hoe that I know shit about cars. Give me some shit to say to seem like I know what the fuck I'm talking about.
Show him your ball bearings.
Talk about how you're planning to turbo but your worried your engine can't handle the compression. Alternately kill yourself.
Tell her direct injection is for diesels and faggots who don't know about petrol engines.
>that V8 exhaust smell
>that E85 V8 smell
>that open ORY pipe smell
Its less V8 and more "JESUS CHRIST CARBURETORS ITS NO WONDER I GET 9 MPG ON A GOOD DAY WITH YOU SPRAYING FUEL ALL OVER THE GODDAMN PLACE!"
idk why 4chan loves these shit boxes. hate away
>rwd to pretend to be a racecar driver
>literally everywhere and affordable for 20 year old semi-NEETs
>easy to maintain
Big fucking mystery.
here's your reply
>RWD
>Lightweight
>90% manual
hmm... quite the quandary
Is this the best car in the world, /o/?
>affordable
>not fun in straight line but it brings hell to other cars on a backroad
>that fucking aftermarket
>parts are cheap
>gas mileage is amazing
>can be hard top if you don't like convertibles
>praised by many motoring journalists
>the 2015 was compared to an AMG GT and a Porsche 911
>forced induction can be done on the cheap
>can be a daily driver
Tell me /o/, why isn't the Miata the best sports car ever made?
>brings hell to other cars on the back roads
except it doesn't at all. Slow as fuck around corners and no semblance of stability
Poor handling, floppy chassis, the only people who think it doesn't handle like a piece of plastic cheese are delusional fanboys who have never pushed one near the limits and the only car they've driven before is a minivan or rusty old truck
>>14690034
silly OP

The best car in the world is a corolla
http://www.caranddriver.com/features/how-to-adjust-your-mirrors-to-avoid-blind-spots
decided to try and do this today and i'm fairly confident i have the mirrors adjusted correctly.
does anybody else do this? any reason not to do this?
I took the mirrors off my car because I don't look back
>>14689975
I live my life a quarter mile at a time as well.
I did this but I can't tell if it's foolproof so I still always check my blind spots.
how badly do you want a BMW /o/?
http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/03/20/florida-man-steals-bmw-after-trying-buy-it-ebt-card-food-stamps
not much since i already have one
and not a new one at all, fuck the f10 and f30 and anything beyond it
with the possible exception of the 2 series
>>14688160
Florida Man is at it again, I see.
Id do a lot of things no self respecting woman (let alone man) would do for a classic one in good condition but I wouldnt steal it or try to buy it with food stamps lel
sup /o/
I want to get a NA miata as a first car, but mommy wont let me, because it's too old. Is it? Or is it still a good car?

>Mommy won't let me get
>Too old.
If this isn't bait. I'm afraid to say that I don't think there is much hope for you here. Your mother sees it as an 'unsafe death contraption' and wants you in something with a rear view camera and the thickest A pillars money can buy. As a gun owner I can tell you, there isn't a whole lot you can say to a mother with the 'protect the childrens' mentality to change their mind on anything.
Enjoy your inevitable CX-5.
Whats the most affordable sports car?
>Pic related
>>14687307
NA miat.
>>14687307
>FWD
>"sports car"
>>14687307
>commuter hatch
>sports car
so i got my license recently and dont even have work yet, but im already looking around for a car, so i have a goal to archive. problem is, im over 2m big and i dont fit into a lot of cars. so i have some cars in my "list" and i just want to know, if any of you are also that big and know if you fit into one of the following cars:
subaru svx / honda civic typeR (2nd gen), skyline r32 gtr, toyota supra, subaru impreza wrx sti, Clio v6
if you know a sporty car, where i can maybe fit in, let me know.
(sorry for bad english)
>>14686803
> I'm a big dude
For you
>>14686803
pontiac GTO
>>14686803
>if you know a sporty car, where i can maybe fit in, let me know.
My ex-boyfriend was 6'5.
Try to find a Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo. The headroom is amazing. Pic is the Turbo S. 1.8L 20 valve turbo, 6 speed manual, 180 HP, and amazing aftermarket support.
I don't think you would fit terribly well in the other cars (well except maybe the Skyline. You'd probably fit in that)
bimmer 525i 1995 piece of crap I know ok stop telling me about it
The radio is fucked. I can enter in the ECU code (because it wont even turn on after battery change.) I dial the volume and it makes some speakers short out when dialing. I can hit bridges, go over railroad tracks etc with np, only when touching the dial
Time to retire the oem bmw radio? I hate too... but if thats what is needed then I guess you gotta do what you gotta do
>>14682881
To elaborate; the left side stays on all the time, the right drivers side (usa) shorts out when dialing the volume.
nowhere else, even with bumps
sounds electrical.
>>14682881
I'll give you $1250 for it
>>14682881
Speakers are probably shot, just get a new system or deal with it.
If you get a new system you'll have to run new wires, you won't be able to use the old ones.
Shoulda bought a 540 tho.
ITT we talk about how arousing the new Civic is.
I cannot fucking wait to see what this becomes.
>>14694455
I'm only interested in the Type R.
The rest of Honda's lineup disappoints me.
>>14694478
Have you driven the 6-speed?
It is sex
>getting bigger every gen
>that stupid aggressive styling for a car that cant even generate enough power to move on its own in reverse from a slight angle
reliable econoboxes but for fucks sake honda quit spitting on the cupcakes and calling it frosting
Why james
Normal people doing normal people things, stop the presses!
fits right in
>>14692726

Big Three propaganda to sell ameriburgers their overpriced gas-guzzler trucks

Are those trailers for hauling your wife's around?
But my trailer is 11,000 pounds
I'm a contrarian asshole who wants a new (or recent model year) warm/hot hatch but doesn't want a Fiesta ST, Focus ST, GTI or other mainstream choice.
Should I get Veloster Turbo, Chevy Sonic R/S, Kia Forte5 SX or other strange choice?
Hyundai Genesis 3.8 if you want something new and unique.
>I'm purposefully buying an inferior product because I think I'm unique
>>14691445
>uniquefork.jpg
Look, if you are picking the car completely on the need to be different but are unwilling to drive an older car (which increases you're options on that front) then congrats, you're an auto swag fag. Go get the veloster turbo - they made the car for you.
