Chrysler has stepped up there game. Drove a new 200s 3.6 awd and a 300s. Both felt smooth as silk. Buicks are way better now then the shit they built the last 20 years. Chevys still feel low quality as well as Fords. Im holding out for the new Continental 3.0 turbo.

once you buy it, ask the buyer to drive you to a nearby parking lot

then you spend the next hour AT LEAST just practicing starting in first gear, keep doing it until you have a good grasp on it and it starts to become muscle memory

then find a slight incline somewhere and repeat the exercises for another hour, using the parking brake to hill-hold.

after getting proficient at both of those activities, everything else becomes trivial as fuck, you're basically done "learning" how to drive stick after two hours because starting from a stop is by far the hardest part

1) no, you don't need awd for snow, you need snow tires and awd is basically pointless unless you live up a 45 degree hill in canada

2) why a crossover? you'll never take it offroad, or on anything more than a gravel road, the ride height is pointless

3)gas mileage will always be compromised in a crossover

check for bad head gaskets, the 02-04 models are the worst offenders

check if the timing belt service was done at 100k, if not you NEED to do it asap, should run you ~1.5k if you don't do it yourself

check water pumps make sure they're not fucked, those should have been replaced already as well

leave the car running for at least 15 minutes when you come to look at it and make sure there aren't any noticeable oil leaks

how much are they asking OP? 120k is on the low end of used WRXs, so i'm assuming you're getting it for 7-8k
