Youre literally a fucking moron and should kill yourself if you cannot teach yourself manual with a youtube video or less.

The fact that you have survived this far is a testament to how much youve failed your ancestors.

I don't have a manual car tho.
>>
>>15165877
Holy shit, no. Are you serious? I feel like I'm getting crank yanked. Millions of people learned to drive a stick by just getting in a car, why do you want to pay 150 for something everyone else just does? Even if you're going to buy a used car locally, you could just learn in 30 minutes driving around where you bought it. Watch a YouTube video and just fucking do it.

Hey /o/ if I take the thing from the exhaust out that stops the flame bang from occuring at the anus of tailpipe will car be okay?

I want car to do this but no damage wished.

thank you

I plan on it. I love the car but I absolutely hate rice.

Toughest decision ever for around 45,000 $:

2013 Mercedes CLS550, 2013 Mercedes C63, 2014 CLA45

CLS550-
Pro: most luxurious, very clean looking and overall very practical
Cons: Nothing spectacular about car than other 2

C63
Pros: loudest, fastest, most fun to drive, good drifting
Cons: looks identical to other C series, extremely dangerous in bad weather, not practical

CLA45-
Pros: Hybrid between the cls luxury and c63 racy feel, best looking, practical
Cons: CLA has bad reputation among car enthusiasts, poor interior materials

Nigger fuck. Please do not center this thread on the CLA, there was a thread last week full of hate that I dont want. I'm very geared towards the C63 and CLA. I think the C63 would be fun to drive on weekends, but I think its something one gets tired of after a week and revving your engine and driving like an asshat in that car (which the powerful car entices) will get old

FUCK

No, avoid anything from VW, they are shit. Get a Miata.

It has small boot/trunk.

>>15166811
Are you retarded?

But yeah, avoid atleast new VW. They're not worth the money. If you want VAG car you should look into skoda or seat. Also even though DSG isn't as shitty as it used to be i would still choose manual but thats up to you

Hey /o/, I've got an old 289 (c-code from a 1967 mustang, nothing special at all) that has been sitting in my garage a couple years, it ran but not well so it would need a rebuild. What would be some cool things to do with this? Not a whole lot of information online about smallblock ford swaps.

They have almost most of everything that's good about a VW and in some ways they're better.

The Perkins 4.108 Diesel is slow, but will go on forever. If you find a C/A with a Perkins its likely still on the original engine.

The other engine was a 1.5L petrol from the Vauxhall Victor. Infact most of the drive train was shared with the Vauxhall Victor.

The one in your picture is the second version with the smaller grille and curved windscreen.
Attached is the first version with split windscreen, flat glass and split grille.
3 speed column shift, small seats, and no power brakes or power steering so you may find it difficult to drive if you're used to power everything.
But its still quite fun to drive and easy on bumps thanks to the independent front suspension.

The sliding door is the shit for hot climates and delivery men.

Today they may seem quirky, but they were probably the UK's best van for the day and remained so until the Ford Transit BTFO of everything in 1965.
Morris was still using pre-war tech.
Pretty much the only worthy UK competitors were the Landrover 109 van and the Ford Thames.

The French had the Citroen H, Peugeot D3, D4 which were bretty good, and the Germans had VW, Taunus Transit, and Mercedes L319. VW sold pretty well and the Taunus Transit was good, but the best over all from every country was obviously Mercedes.

Is car crash safety progressive over the years? It seems like 10 years ago cars were only being tested at 30mph crashes, now they can withstand 40mph crashes. Will it ever reach 50? 60?

OP here

I worded my post like a retard. What I'm trying to ask is if it will continue to be progressive, or will it eventually reach limits.
>>
>>15165161
I believe that as we find newer and better ways(and cheaper ways) to build vehicles then yes it will continue to get more progressive

Hello,
I want to kill road noise I get in my 3 door hyundai hatchback and was looking into sound deadening ... stuff.
I don't have much money(obviously since huyndai) but anyways, I wanted to ask you guys if you know where would be the best area of the car to put the sound deadening mat on?
Should I use it on the doors, floor, ceiling, or engine firewall?
I'm assuming it must be either the doors or the floor, but I don't really know enough to make the decision by myself so I ask since I can only afford enough to cover one or the other.

>>
Where do you hear the noise coming from the most?
In my car the main noises are wind noise around the A-pillars, and tire noise from the wheel wells. I would probably put it around the wheel wells.

This thread looks kind of dead but ill help ya. Youre gonna want to look up dynamat. then since youre poor, look for alternatives but essentially youre gonna want to do them in the doors between the metal and fabric. the floors after removing the carpeting. That should be it really but look up youtube videos on dynamats
