They by them for things like ample storage room and great fuel economy
Let that sink in
....who cares?
There have always been boring, lifeless commuter cars and there always will be.
If this board existed 20 years ago we would all be complaining about how 4 cyl minivans took the place of station wagons.

Women also buy the base model of any new car, they're fucking stupid.
>>15174885

Anyone from Italy, Spain or Netherlands?
I'm looking for local used car sites of countries mentioned above
Pic related, I'm hunting for an s2000
>>15174806
Why an S2K when there's better cars available?
>>15174806
mobile.de
autoscout.de
>>15174811
Well, humor me then?
I'm coming from an supercharged mx5 NB, already sold it and want to upgrade to something bit more civilized
>>15174813
Already using those, i was looking for local sites with more supply
I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these knowing full well that there's cars for the same price or less that
>have less mileage
>more power
>more torque
>3 more seats
>a usable trunk
>5 doors
>have better brakes
>have a better chassis
>have nicer interior
>have nicer build quality
>are faster in a straight line
>are faster around a track
>use less fuel
>cost less tax
>cost less insurance
>look better
and
>are easier to modifiy for more power.
Why do I still want to make the illogical choice?
>>15174759
If you like that car just buy it and enjoy it anon.
The only irrational thing here is not buying used.
ok, so explain this for me please ;_;
>so i'm locking rear wheel
>clutch is NOT pressed
does it stall? and then what?
>>15174749
You press the clutch all the way in, cruise without the engine running, take control of the bike and the situation and then when it's safe, stand up and then sit down hard as you release the clutch to force start the engine again.
Even a 15 year old knows this.
>>15174880
This is the only correct answer.
I would advise you try this out on a wet road first. It will make it easier for you to regain traction.
>>15174880
Can't you just start the engine with the starter? seems much safer than jumping on your bike
I think my Caprice is leaking transmission fluid, but the dipstick still says it's full. Overfull actually. But if it won't move after putting it into gear, adding TF seems to fix it. Just tried to drive it yesterday after sitting for several months, and it wouldn't budge, but I'm worried it's already got too much TF in it.
Also usually I can get it to go if I rev the shit out of it, is this a sign of low TF? This time (after it had sat for several months) reving the shit out of it wouldn't do anything.
Don't flush or add more fluid until you've determined the source of your leak. Drop the transmission and make sure it hasn't eaten itself.
>>15174736
>caprice
deliver directly to the junk yard and buy something that doesn't suck
>>15174789
Guess your mom is out of the question then
hey whats up /o/.
so i bought a 04 350z a while back maybe like 3 months i put it in one of my dads shops that he doesn't use.
so today i go to start it to do my senior auto tech project. when i go to start it all the lights in the car disappear and the car doesn't start
>>15174726
Try replace the fuel pump. If there's no lights on, maybe the fuel pump is stopping the fuel going to the engine
>>15174787
lol
don't listen to this moron
its clearly the ECU that died which is why it wont start
>>15174787
>>15174795
i think the battery is just dead. ill test it
I am about to buy this 1999 model pajero io. My first car and I want to go offroad a little with. I live in the Caribbean so it never gets cold here, but some awesome beaches are only accessible through some offroad tracks. Any tips on the IO?
Also I would want to raise it with a lift kit and put some larger tires but that's much later on.
Picture related
A lift will not make your vehicle more 4x4 viable. Wider tires might, and not driving into unpacked sand might.
If you want to go on the beach, use a fucking quad.
>getting a Mitsubishi Wanker
Where in the Caribbean you at?
OP here winder tires? ok cool. Is it possible to do that on the same rims or no?
What does /o/ think of this car rant?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_URHVf8VJ4
wow a whiny millennial who knows nothing about cars having a whinge about them
>>15174414
>millennial
reminder that born between 1984 and 2000 = millenial
>>15174389
Well, that rant had no substance at all.
trying to repair my fob that has two switches stuck down. scrapped the shit out of it.... will it still work?
>>15173909
>busted SMT components
sorry bro, you're not going to be fixing it on your own
>>15173922
question was whether or not the scrap would cause it to not work. not whether or not i could solder on new SMD switches.
>>15173909
>will it still work?
It's almost as if you can't just drop the battery in it and test it yourself for a total time loss of maybe 10seconds + the time it takes to walk to your car.
Hot Hatch General
>tfw french make GOAT hot hatches again
Fwd a shit

It's time, niggers.
Its as hot as a really wet shit after a ruby murry.
Rotary general?
FD in pic is mine
Probably going to get a lot of rotary hate
but who gives, we're all a big happy family right?
Anon, did you just beg for shitposting?
I like your FD but it looks odd without the wing.
>>15173617
I took it off because I like the cleaner look, plus it was starting to rust under the spoiler
Is this the best car ever made?
Almost. Top 20 for sure
>>15173443
Worst maybe.
Corolla is in the top 5. And beats out BMW left and right.
There will never be a "best car ever made" since no one car can do everything. A circuit car isn't luxurious or really useable on the street, etc.
Holy shit this thing is a beast
It's huge, fast, and reliable
It's not any rice rocket, but it has a decent get-up-and-go
And let's not forget that, considering every other year of this brand/model is an unreliable steaming pile of shit, this thing really stands out amongst its brethren.

What is your irrelevant opinion on the God-King of family vehicles?
>>15173264

Who cares about the manufacturer?
I'm not talking about manufacturers, I'm talking about the car itself.
Try harder tin-foil hat
Is there any other car on the market like this?
If you had $3,000 to buy a reliable DD, what would you look for?
>>15173261
Spare change in my cushions.
Aw11
Tell me why I shouldn't /o/
I need a car short term while I wait for my insurer to write mine off, and this is literally a week's wages, so I probably won't even bother selling it when I'm done. Might try and modernise it or convert it to a track car and enter some 750MC series with it.
>>15173240
Get it nigger
>>15173398
I am very tempted. I probably will when I get paid this week and the DVLA have signed me off to drive again
