ok whats with all these people getting the is250 or the new is300 like what would compel you to spend so much when there are so many other new and used variants that are significantly cheaper and better in every measurable way
Because Lexus IS mint as f inside and out. Their interior is a lotteraly timeless and luxuirous as f.
People are consumer and when they sit in somthing nice as f they by it.
Sorry ur poor
>>15360840
a cts-v or c63 would be just as nice inside
also who the fuck taught you how to type
>>15360826
theyre the base models. You can get a luxury car at a fairly good price. Plus lexus reliability.
>cheaper
>better
Still missing the badge and the luxury aspect. Sure you can get something faster or that handles better but guess what OP? Not everyone is a man child thats focused on trying to peel out at a red light against some riced out civic driven by a spic. Some people like normal luxury cars.
IMO the only IS thats worth it is the 350, but its completely understandable why someone would want the other models. OP stop being a manchild benchracer
would this make a good DD for $2500?
"1973 VW Baja beetle $2500 Or best reasonable offer. Has minimal rust in all the usual places. Floor pans are solid. Front disk brake conversion, adjustable rear coil over shocks. Electric distributor, new coil, plugs, wires, front tires, clutch and accelerator cable. Carburetor has been rebuilt and tuned. Engine runs like a top. All that's left is overall cosmetic attention"
Im thinking about buying this (somewhere down south) and driving it back up to New England
bro you would have to test drive it to see.
depends how well made it is.
i mean does it shift well, is it geared well etc.
bigger tires change the gearing, check everything
Why would you want to DD that? Ask your self that first.
>>15360818
because I'm not a cuckold.
It is the flat part behind the steering wheel, dash board, and radio and stuff. The flat area where people put GPSs, dancing luau girls, and stuff etc.
>>15360528
That's just more dash board.

Holy fuck, that's actually a superyarboRoger. You can sell that for around $15,000. Don't tell him, though. Just cop that shit and flip it quick.

I guess I have to admit defeat. I'm just not good enough /o/...
I thought I could do it but theres too much rust, everything is seized. My tools aren't enough...
Tomorrow I'm going to have to take my car to the mechanic. I'm sorry
thats pretty bad son. ever thought about new cars?

not even the torch and hammer trick?
I don't know why but I love car advertisements from the early 2000s and older. The oversaturated shitty camera quality photos most of them have feel real comfy to me. The very simplistic ones are nice too. The actual quality of the car doesn't matter here

Congrats, you just won 50,000 toward one new car, fresh off the dealer lot.
You can use this to buy one car, and have to spend as much as you can without going over 50,000. Factory addons only, no aftermarket.
You live in the USA.
How do you spend it?

if your car did not have ac would you add it?
My car doesn't have it, and I have no plans to add it. Not like I get much use for it where I live anyway.
Wouldn't mind seat warmers though..
Definitely, it gets over 100 easily in the summer here.
>>15360210
100 fahrenheit to be clear.
Should I buy this? I'm leaning towards yes.
>>15360115
what are you looking for in a car?
>>15360115
If you can deal with how ugly that front-end looks, go for it.
>>15360195
this
When I let go of my steering wheel my car drifts pretty hard to the left.
How important is getting a tire rotation and/or wheel alignment?
>>15359851
Your fuel economy and tire life will be worse but that's about it. If your car drifts "pretty hard", then a wheel alignment will definitely cost you less than gas and tires in the long run. In the really long run, like 15 years you might have some extra wear on the suspension parts because the forces are slightly misaligned
Of course begin with looking at the tires. If that's the problem, switch them up or buy new ones.
>>15359851
are you driving an s10/s10blazer?
>>15359891
And if the problem comes back with new tires, then you need an alignment anyways
