Considering suicide
What's the consensus on this thing? is it even good?
Why is every new vehicle catering to the "sporty soccer mom" group?
>>16114047
>Chevy
>GM
Put 2 and 2 together.
Wow, it's fucking shit.
>>16114047
>electronic parking brake prone to failure under excessive use ?
so just prone to failure then ?

Astra with a bodykit. Not great, but not terrible either and offers good value (in yurop at least).
i want to buy a buffer for my car. some anon on /diy/ told me to get a random orbital. i wanted to get "DEWALT DWP849X" but he told me not to. i saw chemical guys has a cool 13 piece set for 200$ about the same price for the first buffer i wanted but CG gives me more bang for the buck.
what does /o/ recommend? /diy/ anon never answered me back. looking to buy it once black friday/cyber monday hits
>>16094002
First off....
Do you know ANYTHING about detailing cars with buffers and whatnot?
Not even trying to be a typical demeaning assh/o/le but if have no experience/training in detailing your best to not do it. You can seriously fuck up a cars paint if you don't know what you're doing.
People who do that professionally usually have to spend months if not longer training to get certified to do paint detailing.
Just saying.
Read up on it first.
>>16094002
You'll fuck your paint.
Get a pro to do it once a year for 100$ or less.
>>16095146
>months of training to use a buffer
Fuck off, seriously.
Definitely get a variable speed buffer, keep it medium-low. I haven't had any problem with Dewalt power tools for personal use. Craftsman orbitals are nice.
Use plenty of wax, don't push too hard
Best place to get a carpet for my older car? I was looking on this site called stock interiors, but I wasn't sure how legitimate it was. I plan on getting it with mass backing. I need to replace it because my carpet is falling apart and there's a hole in one of my floor pans I plan to weld.
Pic related, it is my car.
>>16093812
Just go to an upholstery shop. They'll have multiple kinds to choose from. Get the kind that's most original.
Rhino liner plus cushy floor mats
>>16093855
I see. Will that compare to the costs shown online? I've set my budget for this at 200$, so the online carpet shops are right there, and they claim to already be molded properly. I'm not obsessed with getting close to the original, just interested in a decent carpet with good noise damping. Thanks
Is Initial D a wrong way to get into cars?
You're the OP, you're used to the D
>>16093608
i initialed your mum with my D in a car once. Hope that helps.
yes.

That was a different lincoln. The blue one was a 79 I sold a couple years ago. This tan brown one is a 76 I picked up to pull the 460 and 9" for my maverick.
3 spooky 5 me
I've been looking at this Lincoln; talk me out of buying the and clear coating it..

I found this beauty on the street today
Classics in your area thread?
nice. I see this one all the time, every day it seems.
>>16125827
I wish my Spit looked like that. Mine still needs some work.
>>16125905
You got any pics? I was surprised too to see it in such good condition-,the hood had the triumph spitfire in calligraphic too but i was in a hurry and didnt take a lot of pics
What can /o/ tell me another the Lincoln MKZ?
I am looking at a used one. The 2016s have depreciated well to the sub 20k
Its growing on me
About the*
>>16125735
There's a ton in asian markets with factory Altezza rear lights that look pretty cool.
I think they're reliable but I'm not 100% sure.
>>16125809
Lincoln is #7 in reliabiliy, almost as reliable as a Lexus
Can we have a /o/ info-graphic thread please?
>>16125681
Ok
>>16125691
fuckin' beaut

>cruise control
>>16125574
how else am I supposed to give a blowjob in my miata
>>16125599
>miata
you are the bottom, don't lie
I use cruise control all the time. It's nice when feathering the throttle is the difference between the speed limit and 15 over.
Is it actually worth owning an American V8 if it isn't straight piped? Seems kind of pointless.
Try owning a car first kiddo
>>16125478
Straight piped here
I can understand wanting cats, V8's have a choppy sound without them but I love it
People running straight pipes on public roads should be gassed with their own exhausts.
Burgers: I want to roadtrip your country.
As a bong, can I buy a car over there and get insured on it? Rental is gauging, and I can't get classic muscle on rental firms.
Pic related
>>16125250
Depends on the state but largely yes.
Many states don't require you to have a license to register it, just an address and insurance.
P.S.: I have friends who could buy the car for me, so if I can't do that, can I at least get insured for a month?
>>16125262
But where will you get an official American adress from as a tourist?
What does /o/ think of SUV coupes?
Pointless shit. As is your thread.
>>16125029
>>16125036
not coupes
http://blog.caranddriver.com/mercedes-gets-inline-benz-switching-from-v-6-to-straight-six-engines/
Mercedes makes its return to the god-tier inline 6.
>at least 402 horsepower
>electric supercharger to eliminate lag
>diesel version coming with over 300 horsepower
Finally BMW has some competition again
i want to like this thing, using electric as a torque fill to smooth out the power curve is really cool but i can't help but see a lot of things to break
Can this one please have a less fucktarded oil filter
>>16124900
will this fit in a wrangler tj?
love me an I-6. smooth diesel engine
