Looking at a 2012 Jaguar XF with the 5.0 liter V8.
Honest opinions? I have heard that they cleaned up reliability quite a bit since the street shitters bought them out. The car itself is beautiful.

Reliability is not an issue with Jags nowadays.
The main problem is fuel economy. Good luck getting into the Twenties once you use the noise pedal. Ride quality is excellent, made to cope with the crappy roads here in the UK. Problem with that is that its not as poised and nimble in the corners as the BMW M3. Depending on what you prioritise will depend how much your bothered by this.
Good buddy of mine owns one (I call it the UKIP-mobile) so any questions I'll pass on at a more acceptable hour and post of thread's still alive.

Buy from Carmax and get the extended warranty. Or just price it out. A camry warranty is like 1200. So base it off that to figure out reliability.

If it had 20 more hp and was rwd and was $5K cheaper these things will sell like crazy.
Also they are too much, like the one I drove had the same paintjob in the picture and had like 15,000 miles, They want 20k for it.
The 2016 has 228hp instead of in 2012 the 208hp and they start at 30k.

Hey /o/, are any of you well-versed with auto insurance laws?
I wrecked my car about a week ago, and it turns out my insurance put the car under liability instead of full coverage. It was under my mom's policy, and they'd told her that the car was covered with the same (full) coverage as her car. Problem is, I've been trying to contact them all week, and they've been very unresponsive. Also, there's still a lien on the car from the bank. Would it be recommended to lawyer up and try to take legal action against the insurance company if they keep being dodgy, or should I just cut my losses and fix the car out of pocket?
Tl;dr: Getting fucked by insurance, need help

I would say get a lawyer, but you'll have so little left after paying his fee that it won't be worth it.
The lesson here is to read the fucking fine print on your insurance policy.
