Is there such thing as "old school staggered wheels" in mothern cars?
Meaning one wheel being and inch or 2 bigger in Diameter on the back, wider in the back, and having fat ass tires
Im so fucking done with all this low profile, stretched tire bullshit that even some companies do it oem
Post pics if you have them
Thanks!
A number of model years of the Lexus IS and certain trim levels of the Infiniti G37 have staggered wheels, but probably not to the extent you're thinking. You'd miss it if you weren't looking at the tire sizes themselves
why would you ever want a staggered setup
it sucks ass for driving and makes you look like you belong in a trailer park to the extent you want
My 2017 Camaro SS came with a staggered set up, thought not very agressive. 245 in the front, 285 in the rear. 20 inch wheels on all fours though. I want to go wider in the rear though for more agressive looking rear.
Can anyone tell me what 268 edition 300 means on my w220 s430 mercedes 99
bumping out of interest
What model is this?
Your car is probably #268 out of a limited edition of 300 units.
But that sound too cheesy for Benz.

>#268 out of a limited edition of 300 units.
that's what I was thinking
>be me, inferior driver
>rear-ended someone
>not much damage to either car, but there were some scratches on her bumper
>forgot to get girl's number to try to settle this outside of insurance
>just got a phone call from my insurance
What do now?
Say you saw her on her phone while she was driving
Problem solved

What is with Meme Trend and fucking obvious sponsorship?
Any other /o/fags watch this or mt?
What exactly are you complaining about? This is how sponsorships work.
>>16234905
I just wanted a comfy motortrend thread.
>>16234839
You get what you get. The dudes have actually jobs and you get to watch them for free. God forbid you have to listen to what products they use in their vehicles. Hard to hate on motor trend when they let you watch for free
do you think we should start snatching up 996's while there still cheap?
porsche isn't giving us clarification on wether the mid engine layout of the RSR is gonna become the norm for the 911 but, with the ever increasing strictness of safety standards, I feel like it's going to happen
>>16234817
Fuck off, Grog.
>>16234817
Porsche buyers only buy the 911 because they're delusional baby boomer fanboys who don't want anything to change from the 1963 model 911.
If they went MR they would go out of business in 10 minutes.
>>16234844
They make shit loads of money from their SUVs though
GUIDEPIN BOLT HEAD SNAPPED OFF INSIDE THE CALIPER WTF DO NOW?
>>16234811

How will I take caliper off with bolt still inside of it?

Why doesn't America allow small trucks to still be built? Trucks like the 70's-80's Toyotas, Datsuns, and the rebadged Fords and Chevys. They were amazing little machines that you could do anything to. Sometimes mini-trucks look amazing lowered, while you got beaner-bags dropping new Sierras and F-150s and they look like shit. And you could especially drop a big motor in and make a drag truck, which a company should bring back imo. And before you say the Colorado, Tacoma, etc. those trucks are not small compared to the earlier versions. I know there was a chicken tax, but what's stopping them now from making small trucks?
Because no one wants them anymore. Now run along and buy an f350.
Ford Ranger
Most likely "safety" rules and up selling.
What is this thing?
Bike exhaust with heat wrap?
Intake with heat wrap
It looks like a pipe

Help me decide what I should get for my next car! I'm trying to decide what I should get for my next car, I currently have an ae86 and am considering getting a better shell in the spring. My other options are an E30, and a Merkur XR4Ti. What do you think I should get /o/?
Get a bus
Drive /o/ around
Profit
No mystery step 3,charge us for a ride.
I have a 91 318is almost identical to the one you posted. Excellent car everything is perfect except for A/c. It's my second e30 and I'm convinced they're the most practical, fun, and reliable rwd car for under 5k.
I'd love an 86 but they're so uncommon in the southeast. Even a single cam sr5 would be nice.
Hey /o/, what are the basic tools for everyday wrenching one needs?
>jack(should come with your car)
>axle stands/ramps
>one of pic related(or an actual box that goes bigger than 13mm)
>big ass spanners for shitty bolts that won't budge
>screwdrivers and allens, torx bits
>extra screws, nuts and bolts because you will eventually lose some
I decided to get into it because autonigger can't even change oil without fucking up something as simple as putting new o rings or something
>>16234042
A spare car. So you can go buy tools when you need them.
>>16234055
>being this rich
Then again I might just buy one for 500 shekels for that purpose(and don't insure/register because it will just sit on the driveway)
all i got right now is a socket set going up to 14mm, a relatievly long plier, and this neato allen key set I used to wrench guns with, highly recommend it. pic related.

The real proletariat drove Zaporozhets.
Lada (Zhiguli as we call it here) was the car of the upper class (yes, the Soviet Union wasn't entirely classless)
>>16233929
I thought the Zapo was more of an ukrainian thing.
And of course the USSR wasn't classless. Pigs are more equal than others, and there were GAZs and ZILs that needed some driving.
Let's see who has the most miles/km on their shitbox on all of /o/
