I like to see crazy, illegal shit and an obvious disregard for the law and societal rules.

Also stunts, like jumps and powerslides.

You don't like it?

Same here. I will try my best to get some of that on video.

IDK but I wish there was something like a modern buick regal grand national. Everything seems so immature and boy racer, or just looks like a Camry (WRX/STi)
>>
yeah

a no safety having bare bones sports coupe is still slower than a comfortable and safe modern family sedan

real garbage
>>
It comes down to physics. Cars in the 60's had good 0-60 times, considering the horrible rubber they had. The modern V8s making 400 horsepower are very different than the 60's only because of emissions. Otherwise they'd be making a reliable 600+ horsepower.

1st car was a Civic. Good to start with. Don't need to spend all $8k. Save some for tires, battery, fuel pump, alternator, brakes, maintenance, etc.

After a couple years, you'll get tired of reving the shit out of that little engine and want a bigger car. That's where a bigger engine 4 banger or V6 will be much more appreciated.

>>

Starting in 2019 the exact RX-7 you purchase will appreciate in value starting at 2% per year. That percentage will increase more each year by 10%, on average, until the singularity occurs.

Bretty good cars

I've had mine for about 25,000 km only so I cant say anything yet about reliability. At ~170,000km total.

Compared to my friends civic and grandmothers corolla, its a hell of a lot more fun to drive. Pretty good on gas, not the best in class but still good. ~32MPG mixed. I drive pretty relaxed like.

Just watch out for rust.

Is there a car that is guaranteed to go up in value as the years pass? I want to invest a bit of money into one and store it in my garage until it goes up in value, would a Lamborghini be a good example for it or will they drop in value over time?

Whatever car that you can "invest" in you likely can't afford.

CARS ARE NOT A FUCKING INVESTMENT.
>>
>>16656142
Tell that to people who bought up muscle cars for pennies in the 80s and 90s and are now millionaires.
>>
my evo will go up in value, i bought it so low and plan on keeping it for so long, and putting so low miles on it that as long as it runs drives and stays beautiful i know it will at minimum retain its value and to be honest i would not part with it unless i got a crazy good offer

Bigger = Better was my mind set growing up. Dad seemed to make it clear a larger engine will last longer, be smoother, more powerful, and use about the same amount of gas.

Looking at a basic Accord, and I keep hearing the 2.4L is better than the 3.0L V6 option. Why is that?

Are there any other instances where the smaller engine option is the way to go? I know some cars it gets complicated, like the Challenger, v6, 5.7 v8, 6.4 v8, s/c 6.4 v8

Or pickup trucks, 2.7L ecoboost on the F-150 is supposed to be better than the 5.0L v8, but not the 3.5L ecoboost

weird

bigger = more torque
smaller = more revs

torque wins races
>>
I'm looking for a smooth, refined car that's a step up from an econobox Civic for my GF. Deciding whether to go 2.4L or 3.0L Accord, or possibly a 3.5L Avalon.

Looking for the smoother power steering, smoothest accel and brake pedal operation too. I love that feeling of my aunt's newer Lexus.
>>
>>16655755
In terms of power typically yes bigger means better.

But not all engines are built the same, and some are less reliable, harder to maintain, or easier harder to get more power out of than others.
