i have an 06 tacoma prerunner with aftermarket wheels and offroad tires. from 30-60mph it sometimes has a steering wheel wobble. already had the alignment and balancing done. any ideas what it could be? even if there's nothing damaged mechanically i would still like this to go away of course. thanks
It could be many things, motor mounts, steering rack bearings are going bad, just do a check, check it bearings make sure their good, if it's not broken why fix it?
You bought a shitty gook truck

well it's possible nothing is "broke" yet and this could be ignored to no harm. but i would like the wheel to not shake of course.
thank you for the suggestions, i will look into the rack bearing.

exsqueeze me?
Have you tried steering stabilizers and strut bars?
Changing the tire sizes dramatically changes many things. Going from say 23.5" to 33" tires without changing your gear ratio can really fuck up an automatic transmission. The width and size can also affect drivability. The tread pattern can affect road noise, steering, etc.
You should have done some research guy. Who knows what the issue is besides you.
