>Tesseract-Altered State
I'm a metal head that listens to all types, and this brought me something I had never experienced before. So much so, that it changed my course of musical taste. I went from listening to hardcore and beat down to instrumental and progressive metal/jazz overnight. It opened up my eyes to so much more as far as "metal" is concerned. I will never forget the moment I heard it and how I reacted. This album was life changing and had only gotten better as time has gone on.
>Benn Jordan - Pale Blue Dot: Tribute to Carl Sagan
I've listened to ambient music for years, tearing through probably over a hundred different albums. None have ever brought me closer to space than this album. The sound design is gorgeous, giving me the sense of loneliness and coldness that I would imagine space to feel like, and every track blends into the next seamlessly. The journey I had the first time I listened to it was one I will never forget, and to this day it is an album that will, without fail, give me the catharsis that I need, when I need it.

That's a beautiful explanation. I'm going to go and check that out right now. I myself am a huge "space nerd" myself, so anything like that sounds fantastic. Thank you for the insight friend.

Also, if you like heavier things, might I suggest "The Contortionist" - Exoplanet album. It's a very involving plot and story for the exploratory nature of humans in space as the earth is dying and they search for a new home. Worth it to look at the lyrics.
I want a synth, like a good synth that (sorry for the upcoming cringe but its the only way I could describe it) sounds like it could be on a /mu/core release, or just something that is regarded as sounding professional.
Hate presets but I'd love to save my sounds, analog pls.

The standard has generally switched from the microkorg to the novation mininova, which is a great piece of equipment
This is better than Sunbather.
"no"

Brought to the Water and Baby Blue are the two best songs Deafheaven has ever released. Sunbather is better than the rest of New Bermuda though
nope
Just listened to this first time, never felt more conflicted about an album in my entire life. Some songs (Airbag, Paranoid Android, Karma Police & No Surprises) are absolute 10/10s, while the rest of the songs sound like filler. Never heard anything else from Radiohead, is this what all their projects are like?
>>68657908
Remember that they have an endless library of legendary albums, and they're all very different from each other. Give something else a listen.
I disagree that the rest of the songs on OK Computer sound like filler, but yes most of their albums tend to have a few songs that are standout while the others go under the radar.
>tfw nobody likes exit music
Alright Anon, tell give me an album or a chart of albums that YOU think I should hear. My music is becoming stagnant, I need to experience something new. I want that "wow, how have I never heard this before?!" experience. Will you help me out, Anon?
Which of these have you listened to?
>>68657729
Almost all of them. Not particularly a fan of the Sufjan stuff.
Any genre is fine with me. I'd be down to check out weird genres. Usually I don't listen to metal, but maybe there's a sub-genre of metal out there for me. I'm really down to listen to anything you think someone willing to experiment with genres would be interested in hearing.

Adam Sandler spits fucking FIRE.
Drake And Josh Season Five and the Kevin Spacey song are hilarious. A lot of the other stuff goes on way too long though. They should have stuck to the shorter kinds of songs.
