Its about submission and it equates submissiveness with femininity. So if being submissive turns you on then surely you're a girl. According to society men have to be dominant and if you're not you're going to be emasculated and the only way from there is to either embrace your effeminacy and eventually transition or fight to preserve your sense of masculinity by expressing dominance. But the driving force behind the same sense of submissiveness that compels AGPs to succumb to gender roles is also at the root of their phobia toward expressing dominant behavior.

Leftie legbutt here. I support the right of refugees to come here because at the end of the day they are people too, they are running for their lives from war, hunger, disease. They're more likely to be homophobic/transphobic than the natives of western countries, but it wasn't that long ago that homophobia was the norm here, either. I can say from my experience in America, having been around many Muslims my age, that their beliefs are not those of their parents. They are on the whole much more tolerant than their parents.

I came to that realization forever ago OP. Only way I've learned to fight it is by making fun of hons/AGPs in front of other people, it's at least gotten my gf and a close friend to come around, but still most people and p much the entirety of my family think I'm just like any other hon, like my dad couldn't understand how I thought I was different for transitioning at 17 than some giga hon with no hair, not even wearing a wig, who started hrt in her 50s that he had met it work. It feels a little dehumanizing to know even most people who support me think me the same as a hon, but ah well, most people suck.
