What does /k/ think about Man At Arms
Reforged isn't as good as the fat blacksmith from the first season. Still good though.

i watch it.
So I decided to use some of my spare 7.62x54r beans that I had left over from a previous recepie, so I decided to use them in a risky meddley with an anti-air 20mm fillet I have been saving for a special occasion. I have only seen this recepie done once before, and I remember so distinctly how delectable the ×54r was when married with a hint of rosemary. So now /k/, I will show you guys how to finely prepare those unused extra ingedients lying around your /k/itchen and make some of the best dishes your minds have never dreamed of.
First things first, you have to refer to your palate when deciding how to cook pods of ×54r, because a set of seasonings for one person may be terrible to another, so remember that cooking is all about your interpretation. For me, I decided to forego the rosemary and went for a more sweet heat chilli flavor to compliment the smoky flavor of the 20mm. Here you can see my selection of spices and seasonings before I prepare the pods for cooking.
Next up, I decided to as a more wholesome addition to the meddley, so I grabbed a few sprigs of .30-06 to help give it a more savory flavor. The contrast of sweet and heavy flavors clashing with the spice of the chilli powder will really light you up!
I then proceeded to spice accordingly, giving everything a nice cover to even out the flavors.
Thinking about investing in an AR-10 insteadof a 15 for hunting reasons. Any advice on what brand and if it's a good rifle?
>>27904595
I just bought an armalight ar-10 vsr. It's pretty awesome.
>>27904704
Before that I owned an armalite def-10 . it was also nice, but not as robust.
>>27904595
Psa. Cheap but good. Especially if you decide you don't like it. If you don't feel like building one, the dpms Oracle .308 is about $800 and even the niggers here have no basis to talk shit about them.
What 9mm or .357/.38 carbine should I get?
Requirements are
>must be 9mm or .357/.38
>NJ legal
>receiver or tang mounted aperture sights
>>27904542
Oh almost forgot
>ability to shoot cheap shitty ammo like wolf preferred
>>27904542
Marlin Camp 9 if you can find it. You must find a 10 round S&W 59 series mag for it, tho. Aside from the removable mag, nowhere near any AWB features. Just gotta change out the recoil buffer and spring usually (factory ones were unbelievably shitty; fell apart when gun cleaning chems touched the buffer), and it'll eat whatever. Direct blowback.
Or >>27904564. Just bear in mind it's specifically mentioned by some full retard AWBs b/c it was used in Columbine.
Can the war against ISIS be won?
>>27904463
what do you mean by won?
>>27904463
Let's nuke some fuckers and upgrade those floppy disks!
>>27904463
Probably. I'd imagine even if it couldn't, it wouldn't be the IS we know in 30 years. It's be like Vietnam did.
What does /k/ think of the tactical application of mylar blankets to avoid infrared detection?

I'd chuck some leaves on top tho
you can totally see the other guy next to him though

If I recall correctly, the other guy is not using a heat-blocking cover.
Pic unrelated
I first want to start by saying I'm not sure if /k/ is where this belongs, but you guys have the most tactical mind when it comes to these things.
I am a high school senior, and want to reform the way my school responds to intruder/shooters. I understand that the chances of something happening are minute, the current system is broken and needs to be fixed.
I want to implement a new plan that only the staff would be made aware of (so that if would be attackers were students, they can't plan around it,) yet simple enough for it to be made ready by teachers and students. A simple codeword would separate a real event from a traditional drill.
General features of my school:
Almost every class has only one door. Less than 8 classrooms have more than one that goes to a storage area which connects it to another class. All doors open outwards.
Classrooms all have one small window, with wire inlayed to try and keep shattered glass from harming students in case of an earthquake. current policy requires these to be covered so that they cannot be seen through.
Any large furniture can not be moved this is another earthquake precaution.
A single officer is on campus, he carries his standard sidearm, but leaves his ar and shotgun in the squadcar. He is an ex marine, and capable.
My ideas
We need to fight back. No more hiding under desks
All science classrooms have massive fireblankets, I want to get one in each class,so it can be deployed over the doorway, initially preventing the would be attacker from seeing into the class, and giving students and teachers the extra time to suprise the attacker.
Give each class a mid sized fire extinguisher, ideally it would throw off an attacker and serves as a club when empty.
At least one baseball bat or another type of a club per class. A 2x4 could do it.
Large scissors or anything that could be broken and used as a blade, 1 shooter vs. 30 plus people per room fighting for their lives.
>chains and locks to chain shut the door by clamping the hydraulic door closing arm
>fire extinguishers should be in every classroom and used as ersatz pepper spray, the powder CAN scratch corneas and cause permanent blindness
>crowbars in the earthquake kit that pull double duty as bludgeons
>safety blankets in the earthquake kit that pull double duty as curtains
Best plan I can think of off the top of my head. Make every part of the kit multifunctional.
Good luck getting taken seriously.
Several comments in regards to the officer,
I trust the officer because he is a great guy and I talk to him frequently, usually about firearms or something similar, he was deployed in Afganistan before working for the local pd, and frequently goes to the range, unlike most officers I know. His job on campus is mostly drug related but we have discussed worst case scenarios before. I also know he is very level headed because on the 4th of July I was at party that was rolled by him and another officer, and watched them disarm and take down two big dudes who had tried to fight them, one had swung at him with a bong (I can expand on that story if anyone cares.) I realize it's a different scenario but it was done in a ridiculously clean and quick manner, and after that was done, they continued to take care of the other party goers without breaking a sweat.
He does not keep a long arm on campus because he believes that the risks of it being stolen from his office are greater than the benefit of having it availible. It would also require him to carry said firearm to and from his office everyday, and this likely will cause more problems than it will solve.
Also his office is not up front with the rest of the administration. It is with classrooms.

Thank you very much, and your ideas are much cleaner than mine. I appreciate any effort you guys put towards this.
As for being taken seriously, I am aware that this is an issue, but the many changes that I have in mind are no doubt what at least some teachers plan on doing, and are fairly cost effective. Plus making using items that serve multiple purposes may result in them being made available anyways.
Electricity has been out for three days, no one showed up at work, and your car radio hasn't gotten any reception. Your neighbor's guess is as good as yours about what's going on. He pointed out that he hasn't seen a plane since this all started either. You're staring out the front window with a million thoughts racing through your head when you start hearing gunshots. They're a mile away. You look out your other window and the distant sky is filled with smoke from what looks to be a dozen or so separate fires.
Do you:
>bug in or bug out?
>why?
>what do you bring if you bug out? what supplies do you have if you bug in?
>you can only take or use one long gun and I've pistol; what are they?
>what weapons do you give to family, roommates or neighbors, if applicable
Think and discuss

Anyone satisfied with any budget weapon lights? (Like <$80) I have a nice regular flashlight SureFire, but I also have some Chinese knock offs that are also super bright, and very dependable. Just wondering if there are any decent quality Chinese knock-off lights that you can trust, mounted to your Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun?
streamlight and wml are right around $100. there are a lot of used surefires in this category also
thanks where do i buy used surefires?
>>27904233
Buy the streamlight
The AR-15 is lighter, cheaper, has more/better accessory options, and has lighter and cheaper ammo
FAL is sexy as fuck. Convince me to buy a FAL. I only plan to buy one rifle to go with my mossman, because I personally don't feel like I personally have a need for multiple rifles when the happening will never happen and I just want something for shooting paper.
>>27903951
You'll end up getting both, eventually.
>>27903951
>convince me to buy an FAL
>the FAL is sexy as fuck
You just convinced yourself and you didn't even know it. I bought an AR first cause I knew it was more practical but eventually bought the FAL a couple years down the line.
The FAL is a lot more fun to shoot, fondle, and look at. The AR would be better for a happening that will never happen, less recoil, and ammo, mags and accessories are more common and cheaper. Yadayadayada you know all the reasons that an AR is better but I think if you come to the understanding that you will only have one rifle, S will never HTF(and if it does a FAL would still work), and you can appropriate all of your funds towards FAL mags and .308 instead of grip-pods and shit like that, you will decide the

Giving a speech on BRRRRRRRT funding controversy tomorrow and looking for some helpful input.
Should we retire the A-10, and if so, what would you replace it with?
Pic definitely related.
>>27903802
The only reason they are considering retiring it is so the military-industrial complex can spend a few hundred billion more replacing something that works perfectly
