What does /k/ think about generation kill? In the middle of rewatching it and it's still as good as i remember. That fucking ambush scene is legit.
its breddy gud
Probably my favourite show to date desu, the characters made the show more than any of the editing or effects did.
still need to get around to actually reading the book.

this is a cool look at the behind the scenes
>>27907669
Pretty legit, I love it.
Hey, /k/ i just finished up a personal project I've been doing at work (I do anodizing and nickel plating) can i get some opinions?
The coating seems even and uniform. But gross. Good ish job I guess.

So what will you when we get MGs back?
>>27907591
Load up on full auto recievers and buy an Uzi.
Also, imagine Hi-Point making a fully auto SMG from one of their pistols.
Just an idea.

>when we get MGs back
They don't even have their shit together.

Condor bushlore.
What is it with people ignoring the knife thread that's already up?

There are better knives out there, but I like this one.
Good: The deployment: you pull the switch back with your thumb, then (with your index finger placed on the bottom-most part of the spine) pull your index finger backwards; no goofy wrist-work to deploy it.
Bad: The belt clip is on the wrong end for quick deployment.
We all know about the full auto drop in devices for Glocks.
But do they make them for any other striker fired handguns?
Surely others are capable of it too, or is there something about the Glock design that makes it unique?
considering that's highly illegal and has no market, it's no wonder they aren't around for anything but the glocks, and those were quickly banned. No one is stupid enough to make a new one, and anyone who needs full auto can just get it without getting ass-raped since those devices are ruled machineguns.
>>27907381
Ok, regardless of legality, regardless of US law (because there are other countries out there).
It's a purely intellectual conversation.
I'm not planning to make one, I just don't know enough about the different designs to know if it's even possible.
There is nothing unique about Glock that makes it capable of automatic fire.
Any semi automatic firearm is capable of automatic fire, be it an AR15, M1 Garand, 1911, a Glock, of a VP9
>ISIS has threatened to strike DC
>I'm visiting family in the Maryland suburbs for Thanksgiving
>Maryland and DC don't recognize Indiana licenses to carry, and have been known to throw people in jail and charge them with a felony for carrying with an out of state permit
>Thanksgiving and Black Friday are extremely symbolic days to launch an attack on America
Looks like I'm fucked, boys.
We need another court victory badly.

I'm white and carry myself well. As shitty as police can sometimes be, I've never had a problem with them.

The perfect camo
Not enough gun or explosives.
What 45 is good for home defense?
>>27906943
are you talking about ammo or a gun? Any .45 that can accept a weaponlight should be OK for home defense use, extra points if you suppress it.
For ammo, I prefer Federal HST 230gr, really good, reliable expansion and penetration.
>>27906961
What is a relatively decently priced, reliable choice in a handgun chambered in 45?
>>27906961
Federal hst BONDED hollow points and a +p round never hurts.
I sense the .460 rowland is coursing through your veins anon.
What are the smallest true blue-water, active-duty combat ships capable of navigating the open seas without hand-holding by other vessels? I mean actual military ships; not ceremonial sailing rigs or something really antiquated. Pic is Sweden's HSwMS Sundsvall K24 Göteborg-class corvette (commissioned 1989), which is only 425 tonnes fully-loaded. It is 57 X 8 meters with a 2-meter draft.
DDs
And I'm talking about true ones not those glorified corvettes they build today.
>>27906899
I think it's one of the Scandanavian tiny ships since they really love making things like your pic. The Chinese have some decent number of the sort too, though they do exist a few other places.
>>27907136
I think the Coast Guard use them too
ISIS is specifically targeting the most heavily populated majority white territories across the US. After Paris, I don't think this is something we should take lightly. My city (Phoenix) is on the list, what do? I was already planning on carrying something with higher capacity. Should I OC a rifle or something from now on?.
http://www.snopes.com/2015/11/16/isis-kill-list/
If this post ends in dubs no mosque shall stand by sunrise.
Woooo Phoenix. North West reporting in. How shall I identify you as opposed to the kebabs also caring rifles?
>California: Manford, Solvang, San Ardo, Monterrey, Newberry Park, Carlsbad
>no San Francisco or Los Angeles
What the fuck ISIS? When you finally get a chance to do something right, you still fuck it up.
>>27906936
>The ISIS "kill list" circulated in November 2015 was therefore not a compendium of U.S. cities which ISIS had recently announced they planned to attack, but rather a several-month-old compilation of all the town and cities in which the U.S. servicemen identified in a March 2015 ISIS report lived.
>Post your state and what's good/bad about it for gun owners
Alaska
>Federal laws are the only restrictions
>Firearms Freedom Act voids future Federal restrictions being enforced by state police
>Huge gun culture, on every lever of society
>Democrats, Republicans, and 'other' parties in state government have a shooting competition once a year to settle shit
>The Democrats have a few really good shooters and have won several times
>Good used gun prices if you shop around
The bad,
>No mail order ammo unless you want to pay a freight forwarding company nutty amounts of cash for hazmat fees
>Difficult to find a place to shoot due to a lack of logging roads (like Oregon has)
>State troopers have a stick so far up their asses they are corn dogs with legs.
