So besides a white flag, what equipment do french military and police have to stop the mudslimes?
>>27916612
Extra underwear for once they've pissed themselves.
Running shoes.
Tissues.
Extra white flags.
Berets.
Tactical mines are the best deterrent they actually have, and those are questionable...

So this is the new Magpul product:

vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBG8W5qqycI
Thoughts?
Also, what do you guys thing about crowdfunding a purchase of let's say 30-40 pairs of these gloves and sending them to Russian pilots in Syria who are removing kebab?
Our boys can afford these easily but I don't know about Russian salaries. Anyway, it would also be easy to ship these since they're not weapons... just leather gloves.
I think this move would help ease tensions as well...
Anyone wanna organize a GoFundMe or something? I'll donate some cash for at least a pair. Thoughts?
>do I want to contribute to a GoFundMe to buy Russian pilots fucking Magpul gloves
What in the fuck am I reading? No. I don't. Go away you fucking moron
>Vladimir we get care package
>is it of smacks and cigarettes and vodka like we asked for?
>nyet
>some Americans just sent us a bunch of fucking gloves Way shittier than our issued ones

it's just a small token of appreciation for killing all those terrorists. plus it might thaw relations.
Is there any situation where using tactical nuclear weapons would be ethically justifiable? It seems like nuclear weapons should ONLY be used as a deterrent.......a way to retaliate in the face of a nuclear strike by another nation. What purpose then, do little nukes like this serve?
>>27916079
ISIS
release of a biological weapon. nuclear blasts will cleanse the disease
>We need to kill a lot of people to win this war
>Oh but not THAT way. Killing people that way is sick! You can only kill people this way!
Killing is either justifiable or it isn't. War is only won by killing all the people that follow the ideology that opposes yours. It would then logically follow that the most efficient way to kill the users of the ideology is the preferred weapon to use, regardless if it hurts someone's feelings.
>>27916079
I can't remember where, but I read that they are being broken down and used for spaceship fuel.
Which is better? I was shocked to find out that Aussies spend more on defense then Canadians.

>muh Japan would have surrendered anyway!
Then why didn't they?
They could have surrendered at any time they chose.
But they didn't surrender until not one, but two atomic bombings.
What were they waiting for exactly?
More of their civilians to starve to death?
>>27915862
Well to be honest they would have surrendered at some point. That point just had a really high probability of happening after millions of civilian casualties.
So I've been looking through some stuff recently and am quite confused. I know the RC-135, EP-3E, and RC-7B all perform ELINT missions and potentially other EW missions but I really do not know much more about the area. First of all what is the difference between ELINT and SIGINT and secondly what is the difference between the Army, Air Force, and Navy platforms for these missions and why do they vary so much from service to service?
>inb4 E-10mc2a
>>27915662
>Rc-135 thread?
Ill help bump
>>27915662
ELINT can be from any electronic device that puts out an electromagnetic signature. This can include microwaves, generators, etc. SIGINT is limited to communications systems. These are often electronic but could include things like carrier pigeons or eavesdropping on oral communications.
The .460 can fire .45LC and .454 so shouldn't it stand to reason that the RJM can shoot .460?

Currently restoring my late-grandfather's old No1 MkIII*
I have a new old-stock walnut stock set, and original replacement parts for everything missing in a box at the moment.
Just about tearing my hair out looking for a replacement charger bridge though. Anybody have one? I'll buy it off you.

Bought myself a USP .45 ACP a few days ago, it should be shipping soon. $918 LE package (3 magazines and night sights). How badly did I fuck up?

You didn't. Get a TLR-3 if its your defense gun.

In general I would say you did okay

I could have had a mint 45 USP for $500 and went with a W. German SIG P220 instead. Still second guessing that decision.
Do they count as operators?

Why do WWII military rifles often shoot high? Pic-related is my Finnish M39. It shoots about 8"-12" high at 100 yards sighted at 150 meters, using 147gr Russian light ball. I know that the ammo is going to shoot a bit high since the rifle was sighted on 200gr bullets (the barrel is marked "D" for the D166-loaded cartridges), but not that high. I've heard similar stories with a lot of other rifles, especially the M39's though, like that soldiers in different armies were taught to aim at the enemy's belt buckle (bellybutton) to hit the center mass.
>>27915146
Soviets were taught to aim for the belt-buckle on a man sized target, so they designed the Mosin-Nagant to shoot high.
>>27915146
Not sure about all WWII guns, but I've heard that the Finns purposely had it shoot high and told their soldiers to aim for the belt.
plus there is probably a significant difference in the ammo
>>27915146
/K/ PLS HALP
Where would a faggot ass /k/anadian be able to get his nugget bolt bent for a scope? Should I just learn to do it myself? Tips? Southern Ontario in case location mattered. Also, general Mosin thread.
>>27915025
You could buy a bent bolt body online somewhere. They run a few bucks but it's cheaper than paying for a gunsmith.
Also, how do you plan on mounting the scope without drilling and tapping? You might be better off buying an original PU sniper.
>>27915025
Try an import a PU mosin from the states if you have to, mine was 600 bucks, but its probably around 750 with your monopoly money
>>27915063
I have the rifle already I just want to put a pu scope on it. Is drilling and tapping really difficult/chance of fucking up the rifle high? Or is it something a book or youtube video can teach me?
Hi guys,
Just bought one of these HERA chassis off ebay for my CZ. Put a spare buffer tube and stock on it.
What does /k/ think?

I ate nothing but fast food and red meat for a week straight. Didn't shit for like 9 days.
