What grinds your gears, /k/? What made that one show unwatchable for you?
Anything antigun, or excessively retarded
I can chuckle at simple errors, like Walking Dead tier mistakes, but it just goes on and on I cringe too much

Yes, watches are the fedora meme.
Meme, meme, meme, meme, meme, meme, meme
Everything is a meme, especially these meme wrist fedoras.
Does this mean that NYC/NJ will have to allow Tazer concealed/open carry?

I carry a real gun like a normal person, so I just hope this ruling can be used to justify personal ownership of more modern weapons as they come out.

Why are terrorists so bad at their plots?
Why not a chain of explosions - one every day for a week?
Why not hitting some scary targets (nuke plant - jut for moral effect). Why not kindergardens, schools, bridges, a goddamn ferry with a truck-bomb?
And why not a sequence of detonations - half an hour apart - on primary bombsite?
They could do all of this but all they go for are some mundane targets.

Particularly Naval Action, but other games such as Squad are also welcome.
/k/ recently made a clan for naval action based on these threads and have been pretty successful.
You can see our current membership page and other useful naval action information on our doc which we expand regularly
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17qB9vz53dkSIiup7rs61Vf4W54qfGx3Tf2y16OJ3gxc/edit?usp=sharing
Any questions or help on how to get into /k/ related games you can post here and we'll help as much as we can, so far we've spend 200,000 gold in naval action on buying newbies equipment and ships.

Stonk (“Standard Concentration”)
This was a Linear Target along a Regimental front of 600 yards identified by its centre point and vertical axis (Hassett & Burns, n.d. a). According to Evans (2001-5) by 1944 stonks were standardised as 525 yards long (Ellis, 1980, implies 1943). Evans also says ” 2 NZ Division continued to use its 1200 × 300 yard stonks” but the dimensions actually correspond a Rumpus (see below).
Additional facts about a British “Stonk” (Hassett & Burns, n.d. b):
-The name “Stonk” is probably a portmanteau word for “standard concentration”.
-The original 1940-1941 Stonk was a square of 300 yards by 300 yards, each battery covering a linear frontage of 300 yards, with the batteries echeloned plus and minus 100 yards from the centre point.
-The Stonk in the latter part of the war, post Alamein, was substantially different from the original version. It was a 600 yards linear regimental target based on a grid reference and bearing .
-Stonks were generally pre planned in the sense that they were nominated and recorded and it was unusual for them to be initiated on the spot.
-Observation Posts (OP) could initiate Stonks but there is no record of the technique ever being used as part of an observed fire programme.
-Each Stonk was given a codename or number.
-The number of rounds was nominated each time the Stonk was called for.
-In the post Senio period they were occasionally used by the medium guns as a means of covering an area where German tanks had been seen.
-The technique was used post Alamein for the definition of Defensive Fire Tasks in support of the infantry in static positions.
-They were also used in depth on some occasions ahead of the line of the barrage.
Let's say you have two groups of guys. Group one goes to the range every weekend and shoots targets together. All the guys in group one have a little bit of experience playing paintball as kids. Group two plays paintball every weekend and practices tactics and ambush offensive/defensive formations and have established a good sense of teamwork. The members of group two have a small bit of experience shooting real guns as kids. Both groups are given real guns (AR-15 rifles) with some sort of basic red dot sights and put into a area they both know. None of the teams have experience in real combat This could turn out a lot of ways obviously but who would you put your money on?
Targetshooters hands down, tactics bring you nowhere if you empty your first mag without hitting anything.
>>29353824
When you first started shooting annon how accurate were you? Were you not able to hit anything?
>>29353774
how long is the average field of view before it's obscured? 200+ meters and it's the actual shooters. less than 200 meters I'd give it to the paintballers.
The only downsides to practicing tactics with paintball is range, and not being able to shoot through things that you could otherwise simply kill your target through.
I bought a revolver today.
I'm a broke college student so honestly I'm wondering if I made a bad decision by buying it.

It's this gun but not as neat looking

if its really like that gun good job. if its taurus, windicator, armscor, or rg you fucked up bad
>>29353724
Appears to be an old Taurus.
Revolver field check.
Take the gun. Ensure that it's unloaded.
With cylinder open, check for any play of the crane forward/back on it's mounting point to the frame. There should be little to none.
Close cylinder. Note rotation of the cylinder side to side when locked in. At this stage a degree of play is acceptable, but it should be completely impossible for it to "skip" over to the next chamber without manipulating the trigger or hammer.
Cock hammer. Check for any play with hammer cocked. Minor side-to-side is ok, but not ideal. ANY forward/backward play is bad. If you can "push off" (drop the hammer) without pulling the trigger that's a major failure.
Check for cylinder play with hammer cocked. It should be significantly tighter than it was before.
Lower the hammer by pulling the trigger. Keep it held down all the way. This is full lockup. There should be almost no play in the cylinder at all, but a very minuscule amount is acceptable. Any degree of play at this stage means the cylinder is not totally in line with the barrel at the time of firing and some lead is being shaved by the forcing cone.
Repeat cylinder lockup test on all 6 chambers. They could all be varying degrees of tight/loose.
Repeat lockup test periodically. You'll notice if it starts to get significantly more loose.
Also if it's a .357, I advise primarily running .38 to minimize stress on the frame and workings.
S&w? Good on you!
Ruger, same as above
Taurus? :(. You can do better! A lot better.
Charter? You said your going to school? Do they teach reading there?
Windicator? Windawhat?
If /k/ were to design a sneaking suit to use while operating, what would it be made of? I'm not saying it has to be super practical in today's world, since the solo sneaking mission doesn't exist anymore, but I wanna know anyways. I had the idea to use something like a Kevlar/spandex weave with an integrated nomex base layer, and cordura nylon to reinforce the knees, forearms/elbows and shoulders, but I feel like others here may have a more realistic or more effective set of fabrics in mind. So with all that said, what would /k/'s sneaking suit look like?
>>29352959
>muh vidya
Please go
>>29352959
"sneaking suits" like the ones in Metal Gear would have to be made out of spandex or something, otherwise they would be noisy and uncomfortable. The entire idea of a having a super tight form fitting suit for sneaking around in seems kind of absurd when a jumpsuit would work just fine.
One man operating still exists, it's referred to as a "singleton" operation. They seem to be surveillance operations though and not Sam Fisher style. Apparently Delta operators are capable of fooling people into thinking they are shuffling old women walking around town.

Other than "they're scary", what are the logical reasons behind the 1934 NFA and the 1986 ban? How is a SBR more dangerous than a regular rifle? How are full automatic weapons more dangerous than semi-automatic weapons? Are these acts justifiable?
Easily concealed

but pistols are more concealable

but they shoot pistol rounds, this is why we invented ar pistols
How would you arm the police force / security / military of Zootopia? There are many size differences between the animals, smaller ones may need weapons capable of bringing down much larger ones.
Would you force them all to use a standard loadout regardless? Split them up and issue arms based on body size? General Zootopes brainstorming!
>>29350884
Go burn in hell, furfag
>>29350916
Rude! Personally I would split the animals into teams based on size for the police force, as larger animals may have trouble tracking smaller ones, and smaller ones may have trouble keeping up with larger ones.
>>29350884
I think it would be pretty straight forward. Larger the guy, larger the gun.
