I'm not from /k/ normally so forgive me for a dumb question but these are utterly retarded right? I'm really struggling to the practical application.
>>29377561
They seem to be okay at moving money from idiots to companies than sell gun accessories.
Still needs a light. Maybe they can make one that mounts under pistol bayonets
>>29377561
I mean. .. gun fights often take place at pistol ranges, for civies anyhow. And, pressing the barrel to an enemy can push the slide out of battery. So, I guess it's not the worst idea.
I'd rather have a light/LAM though.

Are you high OP?
>Michael Gilmore, the Pentagon's director of operational test and evaluation, reported that the latest F-35 operating system has 931 open, documented deficiencies, 158 of which are Category 1 – classified as those that could cause death, severe injury, or severe illness.
why is this allowed?
When are you going to make a better plane, OP?
The F35 is going to be amazing. It's going to be the bread and butter fighter-bomber jack of all trades for many decades to come.
>>29376013
you're probably right. but the fact is, the project is a decade behind schedule and twice the projected cost.
how come there are no repercussions?
Here's Michael Gilmore also (very recently) stating how important the F-35 program is:

I think it's safe to say the AK isn't as "reliable" as people have made it seem to be
It jams in dirt, where an AR works fine
https://youtu.be/synlZgnTnXg
It jams in mud, where an AR works fine
https://youtu.be/DX73uXs3xGU (AK)
https://youtu.be/YAneTFiz5WU (AR)
It jams in ice, where an AR works fine
https://youtu.be/CVe7d7xJdAo
It even burns out before an AR
https://youtu.be/xlL-uRkJ0yA (AK)
https://youtu.be/BSizVpfqFtw (AR)
Can we put the AK meme to rest now? It's nothing but fuddore at this point, like how .45 ACP is supposedly better than 9mm. I mean who the fuck actually believes such nonsense that 9mm isn't objectively the best pistol caliber. It has more capacity, better ballistics, better penetration, better expansion, better price, more loadings, and more pistols in its configuration than .45 ACP. .45 ACP is an obsolete round. So why do people still carry it? Fuddlore. That's why.
Congrats on making another thread, are you going to be done soon?
>>29375682
>AK
What AK? You mean ORIGINAL AK from 1949? It's
antiques. Or maybe AKM, AK74, AK74M, AKS74, AKS74U? Or maybe you are telling about modern AR rifles and you need modern AK for comparesment, AK-100/101/102/103/104/105, AK-12? Or civilian version like Saiga or Vepr with countless midifications? If you're talking about original AK, hell yeah, rifle from 1949 with cost of 5 potatos surely can't compete with something made in 2008. Because of thing called "progress".
The most reliable gun is obviously the Glock, any model.
And when your mags empty you can even use it as a hand grenade!

Sup /k/, figured I'd make a thread regarding the new SCOTUS decision about stun guns in MA. Apparently they say the 2nd amendment applies to "all bearable arms", which would imply select fire and bearable arms regardless of time period. While I myself would love to see the Hughes amendment repealed and am familiar with Miller v US, I find it unlikely that we'll get anywhere with Hollis. Not because it isn't a valid argument, but simply because "the chilluns". Can anyone give any insight to what this may mean as far as the Hollis case?
Pic semi related, let's see if we can summon the Alex with copious amounts of butthurt at the mere thought of his trust fund evaporating with an overnight judicial ruling.

Is it true that Arizona is the most based state for guns?
What makes is so great?
Is there much land for sale in the area?
My English teacher would always talk about growing up there back when in high school, and I've seen it being talked about a lot recently. I used to travel through there going out on the road with my truck driver dad and it's a beautiful part of the country.
It would be real fun to buy some land in the area and build a house and shooting range out there.
What are some other really good states for gun owners?
Yes, a lot of land.
Yes, the best guns laws in the country.
t. Arizonan
>>29372946
Arizona best zona
>>29372946
Montana is pretty based. I'm not sure about other states, but we passed a law that was essentially a big "fuck you" to the NFA shit. The law says that any gun made in Montana is immune to federal firearms laws. Sadly the feds refuse to recognize it.
Camp cock thread. Post camp cocks.
I've been on /k/ since 2010 and for some reason this thread has confused me more than any other.
Hey /k/, I was wondering why small nuclear devices or other such weapons of mass destruction have never been used in major cities by terrorist groups. You'd think that the first thing ISIS would try to do would be to set off some such nastiness in an urban area, so why not?
>>29369871
because its hard. also expensive. also just the thought of someone having WMDs has led to invasions. imagine what would happen if they were used on a mostly civilian populace. EVERYONE would BTFO isis in a heartbeat and no one would be able to say not to.
>>29369871
Because the kind of nuclear device terrorists would be capable of constructing would be a gun-type weapon.
And that requires substantial amounts of uranium that is >90% U235.
And getting that much highly enriched uranium is near impossible, specifically because it's easy to built nukes with it.
It would also be a fuckhueg device, think little-boy sized.
The prop in that photo is completely unrealistic bullshit, it wouldn't work.
Because it is more efficient to just fill up a vehicle full of explosives.
I've been considering buying an AK for a while, and I don't really know where to start.

What's your budget?
>>29369040
You choose the caliber (7.62, 5.45, 5.56).
Then you state your budget.
Then you purchase the best available AK that fits your earlier choices.

wow
I'm currently shooting 5 calibers and counting.

>8mm Mauser
>.303 British
>9mm
>Soon to be also .45
I'm already starting to realize the hole I'm digging into my pocket with my monthly shooting trips. I end up shooting anywhere from $30-$45 at least on a trip to the range. I like my shooting, and would love to do more, but can't on a budget. If I invest in a reloading setup, about how long would it take for me to start making my money back?
>>29360768
For rounds such as .223, it takes about 1000 before you start saving a good amount of money.
>>29360768
a cheap Lee setup will take around 3k 9mm rounds to make back. 9mm you save about 66%. I'd say your rifle rounds will be much more profitable.
>>29360768
Depends on how much of each you typically shoot. If you like to shoot .303 or 8 Mauser a lot, I figure about 500 rounds compared to buy something like prvi.. Depending on where you get components and how lucky/thrifty you can be it might take less.
The thing is you may just end up shooting more.
