Milsurp thread is about to reach its limit. Anyone else have anything from the Korean War?
Guys, I got this smock and I'm wondering what some of the bits of it are for. I don't usually buy military-style stuff and am quite ignorant about it.
There is a flap with velcro on the breast of it: is that to secure some kind of ID?
On the inside of the hood, at the back, there is a flap with velcro. Is this for attaching a hood to a helmet?
On the outside of the hood, on the back, there is a little piece of velcro. Is this for some kind of reflector?

I've got one of those green army trenches which might be dated around that time: but if I recall correctly it was 1954.
Just need a few more for the gorka group order.
Got this maverick mossberg model 88 that will not eject this (non spent) round no matter what I do...
>>29762502
>mossberg
well theres your problem F A M
can you cycle it all the way and the shell just won't eject, or can you not even get a full stroke and it just locks up?
>>29762502
Fuck you,
Anyone have experience with this bad boy?
>DOW drops 1500 points in the first 1minute of opening and markets get shutdown.
What do you do in the first 4 hours of this news /k/?
>>29762438
Nothing.
if you aren't prepared by this point you are fucked.
people panic and it is a clusterfuck. don't get caught in that.
also they freeze bank accounts and transactions so good luck.
Nothing. With the markets they are today it'll be back up 1500 the day after...
>>29762478
Is that your plan?
Pray it gets better?
I certainly hope you don't have a family who relies on you.
HO LEE FUK

>>29762412

they are okay rifles.
ARs are still much better
>>29762534
But it's not an AR.
I have an AR.
Plus it looks cool and is like a Czechish SCAR
I am buying.
>>29762412
>$3249.62
Just buy a SCAR ffs.
useful info about beretta cx4 Storm, making a PowerPoint to our little squad on why it's a good buy , any useful info appreciate it , current owners s experience etc, I need to make a point . thanks in advance
It was used to help humanity survive the great Cylon war. If it was good enough against the frakkin' toasters, it is good enough for you.
>>29762382
it's shit, dawg
>>29762382
why the fuck are you making a power point presentation? You know what don't answer that's probably going to give me autism.
The CX4 is a purely fun gun. It's fun to shoot. It looks cool. It was used in a couple movies and tv shows. That's about it.
Yeah it could defend your home, but there are a shitload of much better guns which can do that.
If you are buying a gun for a serious purpose or serious use, look for something else. If you just want something fun and cool, get it.

Another one bites the dust.
Hey guys what are for you some of the most underrated Special Forces in the world?
For me:
>DAE (Portuguese Navy Seals)
>They work under so much secrecy that only 40 new members in the last 20 years
>Contantly working with EU rescuing hostages from somalia and other war thorn countrys. They are badasses i really recommend you investigating them, also not that much info.
>GROOM (Polish Special Forces)
>Never lost a man
>Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2) (Canada)
>Bad ass Canadians working also in much secrecy
pic related my baby

Alright /k/, I got a big question for you because I couldn't find the answer I need through google. I have a couple of friends who have a dual canadian/american citizenship. Would they be able to buy an SVT 40 for me, bring it into the states as their own firearm, then sell it to me here in America? I don't know the process involved when carrying guns with you across the border. Is this considered an "import" targeted by the import ban? Or would it be considered a private sale? I want that cheapie SVT real bad
In order to import a firearm you need to either have a hunting permit or be attending a competition, and you have to fill out a bunch of forms. On your way back in to Canada they check that you're returning with the same guns.
>>29762096
Shit. Even if it's been a year or two? They live in the states.I read that the hunting license isn't required anymore
>>29762048
The long story short is no, anon-san. The assholes liberals thought of this.
Now, they could just happen to have a tragic boating accident while fishing for some great American Bass...
Let's discuss pocket guns. Nothing larger than .380! I don't care if you can kinda sorta stuff your G43 in your pocket.
Here's my current pocket warmer. Just got an LCP too because I want something more reliable, but it's in jail until Friday.
What cute little guns does /k/ keep in their pockets?
Bumping for interest
>>29762066
Likewise, becuase I don't live in a free state yet.

Why don't buildings at bases have armor on them, the way tanks do? Every building I've ever seen at pictures of forward operating bases is basically a wooden box with some sandbags littered around it - wouldn't it be easy to just take the same armor that's on an M1 Abrams and just plate the building?
It'd make them more or less impervious to any kind of bombing or mortar attack, since the armor on an Abrams makes it impossible to defeat
>>29761945
Because we are fighting terrorists who
A) cant hit shit, even if its the size of a building (just got back from iraq, isis would literally overshoot and miss our 5 square mile base)
B) they use a lot of home made rockets that are basically just pipe-bombs strapped to rocket motors
C) or 50-60 year old warsaw pact rockets that wont make it through 3-4 layers of sandbags anyways.
It costs close to a hundred grand (or more usually)ejust to up-armour a vehicle, a building? Millions, some of those buildings are fuckin huge.
Its a lot easier to just pile sandbags on it and throw us some cement T-walls or hescoes and call it good.
>>29761945
reinforced cement is cheaper and easier to make than armor plating for buildings.
Sandbags are even better than cement at stopping kinetic projectiles than metal plates, while costing less and being more readily available.
with that being said, this website is 18+
please refrain from posting.
Just money compared to practicality. If there were a war between two first world countries most places would probably just be civilian buildings repurposed. The only places with armor on them so to speak are mainly just bunkers.
So I've put magpul on my Remington 870, my Ak (pistol grip only), almost every AR15 I own, and for every gun they make magazines for. I honestly think they make the best aftermarket furniture and accessories. What is your thoughts on Magpul /k/?
There's the AK and one of my AR15s with magpul on it.
Vertical grip I have on another AR.
>>29761904
>What is your thoughts on Magpul /k/?
Extremely bro tier company but a lot of their products are hit and miss. Their ctr stock is great. Don't really like my pmags
Can we get a /k related reaction images thread
Folder is getting low
>>29761892
Why don't we employ this tank killer?
Do we still fight tanks?
>>29761789
This thread will go to shit since it is about a British weapon.
