The quality of the small parts on their stuff isnt always so good. If you want good accuracy, its best to buy receivers as a mated set.

Upper is fine, barrel nut is garbage. Rather than machining it properly they give your some washers that are supposed to make it fit properly, but I was not able to at all. Ended up nigger rigging the barrel nut with some aluminum for now. Decided to not dick with it further and order a Midwest industries handguard. The gas rings swelled on the bolt on my first outing causing a malfunction, but that was the only time I saw it.

In need of some assistance.
Thinking about putting a rail on a 870 12 gauge. Want rail that replaces the pins that hold the trigger group like seen in the picture.
Whole plan for the rail is to put some kind of sights on it to have an alternative to the bead sight.

A saddle mount that attaches using the trigger pins is even worse.

I would say go with ghost rings. I hate having to rely on a battery plus they get expensive as all hell. If you really want a sight, I assume you are going turkey hunting, in which case get a simple cross hair sight mounted on the receiver. If not, even if you are using slugs, if you need an optic on your shotgun, you need to go use a rifle instead.
