So hows this going to blow over with russia /k?
Are we going to have sanctions killing the 7.62 x communism ammo and rifles, or is this all just storm clouds blown up by the media?
Op wants to find either a wasr or arsenal, bit if these fucking sanction talks continue, Not sure what Im going to do.
Why the fuck do Britbong LEOs wear saftey green?
high vis. It's so they're easier for the terrorist to spot and avoid on his way to the arena.
>>34778147
so *criminals* can shoot them easier
Why are they all fat?
Hows your development of the human weapon coming along?

Ain't this /asp/ or /fit/'s kind of thing, not /k/?

seems like a mix of both /k/ and /fit/ to me
so id like to have some ap ammo for the happening. my most powerful rifle cartridge is 7.5 swiss and i have a lot of the surplus ammo. I was thinking of pulling the gp11 projectiles and reloading them into 300 blackout cases. i would then put in the m2 black tip projectile into the 7.5 swiss case.
my question is, could i add more powder for a higher velocity?
the projectiles weigh less but are steel core so probably longer. im thinking the pressure would be too much if i add more powder. might even need to reduce standard gp11 charge.
also do the swiss produce ap 7.5 swiss ammo or do they have any in surplus? if so why hasnt it been imported? there are no 7.5 swiss pistols in the us.

AP ammo is illegal in the U.S.
Sup /k/,
I want to commercialize a homebuilt rifle design that I came up with, which uses mostly common parts. I'd want to ship the 80% receivers (really more like 50%) and a couple of non-receiver parts that are nonstandard. Thing is, I'm living outside the U.S. for now and would want to ship them to the U.S.
Since these are unfinished gun parts, are there any U.S. laws that I would need to deal with? Or would import regs only apply to gun parts? If I were to finish any of the non-receiver parts, would those have to comply with any regs or shipping laws just because they are "gun parts"?
Also, what is the process for getting ATF approval for a design, and for determining which part is "the receiver" that (if it were finished) would need to be marked?
/k/ how do I take apart this 9mm training round? I have no knowledge on firearms but I have tools to dismantle it. no idea if it's safe.
>>34777835
why take it apart?
just use two pliers, one on the brass, one on the blue and wiggle them apart.

I fucking love those uniforms
In a rifle barrel, the lands are wider than the grooves. In a pistol barrel, the grooves are wider than the lands. Why is that?
Rifle barrels have a to have a much harder twist and the bullets are going a lot faster so maybe the lands just need to be wider to be strong enough to handle rifle bullets.
Manufacturers choice mostly.

Are you sure about that? I haven't noticed such a trend.

It's not a raid. We used to do this all the time years ago. Hang out on Omegle bull shitting.
I want a new piston operated 5.56 rifle that isn't an AR. I've narrowed it down to the Sig MCX, CZ 805 Bren, and Steyr AUG (would be my first step into the bullpup meme world). Of these, which would you suggest?
I've already got a couple of ARs and I just want something different, and a SCAR isn't on this list because the CZ is close enough and half the price.
>>34777551
get the cz
>>34777551
out of those three, the bren. aug is a close second though but its kind of apples to oranges.

who is this mongrel mutt?
Sup /k/. So I just got a 1909 Tula Tsarist Mosin-Nagant turned Finnish rifle yesterday for 350 dollars. Was reading up on it, and noticed it had the D mark on the barrel, which means the throat of it was enlarged to accommodate the new Finnish cartridge. It's still safe to shoot 7.62x54R surplus out of it right? Also, prized Mosin general thread.

Bought a mosin recently, dude threw in a free bayonet. It was a good day.
>>34777916
They always do lol. Just make sure you use CLP and other lubricants getting it on and off the first time. They're notorious for being ill-fitting. What year and armory?

Is this site any good at all? The few things I've heard about it (Sellers bidding on their own stuff, bots sniping at the last second, etc) don't make me think so, but I'm tempted to try it out.
>>34777484
I bought hickok45's p99 of there for under 500 bucks. I'm a fan.
>>34777484
Trash site. The timer resets to 15 seconds if it's under 15 if someone bids, and it ends up being 2 bots trying to outbit each other for hours. No legitimate user can benefit from the auctions
I been watching the site for about a month. It always ends in auto bidders. I bought 100 bids but only used 3 so far. I really do not see how people spend hundreds and not even win the gun. Any given night the site might make 3000 dollars on a 500 dollar gun. Same dozen people always auto bidding against each other.
What's a good pocket carry gun?
CM9 looks tempting.

I was considering the Kahr at some point, but in the end I went with a S&W M&P 340. I was concerned about the magazine getting released while in my pocket as much as I bump into things throughout the day, and I do use a kydex pocket holster. I am still happy with my decision of a pocket revolver over a pocket auto
>>34777356
I just picked one of these up. Nice shooter, very manageable. Sights are a little tricky for me but I need to practice more. I think you just missed the nice deals on them as everyone has bumped up price by about $80, but you can find deals with a mag + holster still around for the same price the gun alone is going for if you look. Plus Kahr is doing a free mag rebate through next month.
>>34777356
I carry a 380 S&W bodyguard.
Have a piece of equipment you can't ID?
Post a pic and lets help each-other.
I'm fairly sure this jacket is Austrian, but I've only seen one French seller list as a "Blouson Chausser-Alipin". Anyone have anything more concrete on it?
