WA here, I only have a WA CCW License and I'm planning on going to Oregon, probably eastern OR, it all depends on how the skies look like before we leave. Since I don't have a OR CCW License what should I do with my handgun, (G19)? Unload it and place it in the trunk or can I open carry it? If open carry is legal for visitors does it matter if it's loaded? Thanks.

lol never seen this before - it is a spot-on custom weapon for a Cable cosplay. liefeld, bro.
It looks like it's basically just a fantasy KRISS Vektor carbine (with a wood stock, which is great) featuring an underslung grenade launcher made for an AR (attached by a welded-on AR barrel shroud that doesn't actually wrap the barrel) and optical sight. It's also got an enormous muzzle break styled on anti-material rifles / cannons.

Looking to get info on getting a gun I went to this pawn shop.
Here's what you guys should know - I have no intention to buy my first gun offline. All the guns I've seen for sale in Pawn n Guns, LGSes or big gun chains have always had a higher markup than normal and they'd always say "Whoops, we don't sell that brand/variant/type :^)" whenever asked about a cheaper gun. And I also am here with a green card.
I went up to the counter and asked him if he could do a background check on me. He asked why, I told him every single time I mentioned to someone at least a bit gun-savvy that I want a gun but have a green card they all go "ehhhhh".
After shooting the shit and filling out the 4473, he showed me a few """fairly priced""" guns I could take off his hands.
When I said I won't be buying anything today he told me to eat shit in my language.
Would it be a good idea to ship an armslist gun I've got my eyes on to him?

Hey /k/, I have a Marlin 795 that I would like a scope for. I already have Tech Sights, and while they're great iron sights, I'm interested in using my rifle to hunt small game. What's a good budget scope for a rimfire? I don't wanna go out and spend $400 on glass for a .22 plinker.
Also, what is the bet mounting solution for a Marlin 795, I'm thinking on drilling and tapping a pair of holes for a picitanny mount, is this a good idea?

Which of the 2 calibers are more effective for home defense in their optimal builds? (.300 BLK in an 8 inch barrel and 5.56 in a 16-14.5 inch barrel?
