My fellow nuggets, who else would like to see a 3 gun competition that featured only old school firearms like a Lee Enfield or moist nugget, then like a Trench gun and a Nagant revolver? You just some really cool old school shit. Anyone else who would get a kick out of that?

I keep the majority of my gear apportioned in several duffle bags, then I have a general inna-woodsing bag. Whenever I go somewhere further than the next town I over I pack a BOB according to the circumstances I'm likely to encounter. I have a Swissgear bookbag I favor for that since it doesn't scream I HAVE A GUN! when I carry it into a restaurant or whatever.

Horses could be useful, but really are a logistical pain in the ass and require a lot of training to keep healthy. Pack mules and donkeys are much easier to use.
If you are asking "could mounted combat/ a cavalry charge work" then god no. Nobody has the training for that anymore.

Alright so I'm going to break this down. I've never owned a firearm before, I'm 20 years old and I have $1500 cash. Ok, suppose I, throughout my lifetime, have collected a large amount of firearms and ammo, and I know my family would go full retard with them (destroy/burn/paint them bright blue with ponies), is it possible I could give it to friends or even strangers without a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo.

Its been years since I played NV, but I seem to recall this thing being pretty useful. It had these two flaps on top (dog ears I guess) that raised and lowered depending on the location enemies and would bark if they were in range. Something like that anyway, maybe Im thinking of a different gun. Pretty useful if you have low perception, because it would detect enemies before they appear on your compass.
