This nigga knows what's up
Why doesn't anyone make a revolver that LOOKS like the SAA but has more modern features like DA/SA trigger and swing-out cylinder?
This thing was style personified
Wouldn't complain if there was a single action with a swing out cylinder, but I imagine itd be a super niche market. But yeah, I have a single action 22, super sleek and sexy looking.
>>30372912
>A Single Action Army with a Swing out and is DA/SA
Fucking get good Hombre
>>30372912
You're not pretty good
Experiences?
Pros?
Cons?
I want a wooden one like pic related but 5 rder since NJfag.
How hard are sights to adjust?
I really like mine. I don't own an AR, and probably never will.
Mine is 583 series, basic one from walmart $725
Rear sight is not hard to adjust. I put a scope on mine, but if I didn't go that route I probably would have replaced the rear sight. The rear sight did come loose, but nothing loctite (that came in the box) didn't take care of.
Runs all types of ammo.
I put about 3k rds thru mine so far.
Owned it for 1.5yrs
I've gotten <2" 5rd groups from bench at 100yds in stock form
If you put a scope on it will need check riser.
Ive bought 4 ruger 30rd mag, paid $45 for them
I bought a metal 30rd promag new for it and haven't had any problems with it, paid $28
I just generally like it.
Anybody who says theyre outright bad guns like all the people who shit on it here on /k/ are simply just faggots that repeat what they hear from it here faggots.
>>30372889
>Experiences?
I absolutely love mine. Really fun to take out into the desert and camping, just to fuck around with it.
>Pros?
Looks as good as your grandfathers hunting rifle with the power, capacity, and accuracy of your average ar-15.
Can do everything an AR-15 can do.
>Cons?
Expensive.
You'd be better off building your own AR for 100-200 dollars less than the total cost of it.
Magazines are pricey too...
>How hard are sights to adjust?
Pretty easy.

Also here's mine wearing a shitty $20 stock I found used at a lgs

Hey /k/. I need some help.
I've been having suicidal thoughts for a long time now. Life on my side really sucks and I hate it. For a while I really wanted to end it all and be over with this never ending nightmare. But recently I went to a therapist and talked to him about it. He told me I could get better if I wanted to and I could get out of my situation.
Well I was really worried about being committed and losing my right to buy a gun. I don't know where else to go to learn about this. What should I avoid so I don't lose my right to buy a firearm? What if I get put on some antidepressants? What if I voluntarily commit myself to some hospital? what if I stay for one night? what if I stay for a few days? Are there certain things I should avoid?
P.S. I live in texas
>>30372146
This is a good question. I don't know enough about how psychological evaluation affects firearm ownership rights, but the main question asked on government forms seems to be if you were "involuntarily committed" to a mental health program. I suggest looking up the ATF's 4473 form and going from there.
>Have you ever been adjudicated mentally defective (which includes a determination by a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority that you are a danger to yourself or to others or are incompetent to manage your own affairs) OR have you ever been committed to a mental institution? (See Instructions for Question 11.f.)
You're doing the smart thing here by asking. Better to find out now than to lose your rights to some government loophole, especially in this day and age. After all, if that maniac who shot up the Pulse club in Orlando could skate all the safeguards, but a law-abiding citizen is locked out of his second amendment rights, what kind of country are we living in?
Personally, I'd suggest finding a good church and talking to a pastor. See if the church has an adult activity group, or a grief share group, or any kind of social activity focused on adults. Good pastors are a lot like psychologists, except Bibles instead of drugs. A lot of mental issues can be overcome by adjusting your philosophy and outlook on the world, and since you're in Texas I strongly recommend checking into that before trying anything that will give you a medical history the government can use against you.
All this might sound a bit heavy on the tinfoil, but government agencies are chomping at the bit to take gun rights away from everyone. As long as you're not planning to hurt others, and you're stable enough to protect yourself from others and from yourself, there's no reason you shouldn't be part of the well-ordered militia.
>>30372146
what if you actually faced your shit and dealt with it
thats what finally worked for me.
Just kill yourself already mate.
Some airsofter recently put wood on a M60, and damn does it look good.

Lockheed Martin is proud to present the F-35 Lightning II, the most advanced aircraft ever built. With its state-of-the-art stealth and avionics packages. It's ability to fly at Mach 1.6 and extreme turn capability make it the world's best dogfighter, and it's 6 hardpoints and 25mm gatling cannon allow it to rain destruction wherever it goes.
But it's offensive capabilities are overshadowed by it's excellent stealth capability. The Pratt & Whitney F135 turbofan is one of the most efficient engines ever built, allowing the F-35 to cruise for 100 miles while burning only six gallons of JP-5 kerosene fuel, giving the F-35 unprecedented fuel efficiency and range. Additionally, the modern stealth technology incorporated from the bottom-up in the F35's design allow its engines to burn the fuel without producing any heat, converting all of the latent chemical energy into thrust at a 110% efficiency rate and allowing for much improved speeds.
The design of the F-35 has been built with stealth in mind. It's shape and contours are meant to be difficult to detect by any form of air radar, but the real secret is in the coating. The stealth coating on the fighter render it completely permeable to all forms of radiation, allowing radar and infrared waves to simply pass through the plane. In this way, the plane is undetectable by any form of radar or enemy avionics package and can operate in hostile territory without a hitch.
That same avionics package also forms part of the F-35's active defense system, which is completely unique and a development of Lockheed Martin's famous Skunkworks division. The avionics package can hack into and subvert inbound guided missiles and instead force them to re-lock onto their source, turning attacker's missiles against them. Additionally, 'dumb' unguided munitions can be caught with the electromagnet affixed to the underside of the F-35's fuselage, allowing incoming shells and cannon rounds to be caught and dropped later as makeshift bombs. In this way the F-35 absorbs and deflects incoming fire.
In addition, the avionics is so advanced that it has the ability to use deep-penetration radar. This enables the avionics to determine what targets on the ground are friendly or hostile and selectively adjust bomb and missile intensity to ensure that, if striking an area with civilians nearby, no civilians are harmed in the resultant blast or shrapnel. The shells from the autocannon are also 'smart' shells that can correct course mid-flight to only target hostile militants and avoid innocents. The Air Force's commitment to zero civilian casualties is a testament to America's commitment to human rights.
The US Air Force is the most powerful air force in the world, and Lockheed Martin aircraft like the F-35 only reinforce this truth - the F-35 is the new crown jewel of the new 7th generation of modern aircraft, and Lockheed Martin paves the way for the war of the future.

OP, even I, who has been shilling the F-35 realize this is some pretty good bait.
