So, I was thinking about how to make a true synthesis between the anti and our position on guns...or at least private sales.
The antis want, basically, to ban private sales...or at least force them to be done through an FFL.
We want the ease of going to armslist and doing an FTF transfer with bubba McFudd for his guns.
What if we were to add NICS status to driver's licenses and make it a felony to carry a license with the incorrect status? Changes of status would be notified to the carrier by mail from the state.
Then, you could make it a requirement for private sales to include a seller-maintained bill of sale that includes a photo of the buyer's DL.
This would basically make it so that everyone is carrying their background check on them, and provides something similar to the 4473 for records keeping.
It gets rid of unregulated private sales, but allows for the convenience of meeting bubba at walmart to buy a rifle.

A 9mm is the same diameter is a .380 and the 10mm is the same diameter as the .40
So a .40 should be 1/9th wider than the .380
.02 is 1/19th of .380

It will definitely reduce in size. The FTSE just dropped 500 points and the economy will be bad for a few years to come. The automatic option every time the economy shrinks is to reduce the armed forces. God knows what it is gonna happen with Gibraltar and the Falklands, perhaps the Argies and Spanish might try have a pop at them.
Which is annoying due to the fact I have just handed in my application for Sandhurst.

hello there k, my question for you is what are pmags for the m4 made of, as in what is the name of the polymer?
bonus question is how would I go about bonding material, say epoxies and resins, to it?
I'm planing on making a sculptural relief for the panels of my pmags out of either green stuff or boat epoxy, I may also try several other molded epoxies and or resins. it will be very low profile to prevent snagging. I'm aiming to keep it functional but fancy.
I would also like your thoughts on this.

So I'm looking to buy my second rifle. I'm looking at either an SKS, an AK, or a VZ 58. I'd like to buy new if possible, but I'd like to only spend around $800 if I can. Unfortunately I'm a southern califag, so none of my local shops really carry any. Anyone in the San Diego area know of any shops within 75 miles that carry them?
