Just had my 2nd ND...was practicing loading my SKS and it slam fired.

Because of this im seriously considering a clearing bucket. Has anyone else used one of these? how effective is it? Does sand or gravel work better?

It works, probably want a metal bucket as the side may split on a plastic one. Sand, less sharp fragments flying around that way.

I cleared out the 3" turkey shot last week from wally world for $2.50 a box. Went back and they still had several boxes of the 3 1/2" marked down on the bottom shelf so the price was obscured

I compulsively bought 11 boxes of it just because. I don't even have a shotgun chambered in 3 1/2" but they were marked from $12.49 a box to $3.50

So what have you bought that you didn't need just because the price was right?

You're such a fucking retard i swear.
>>
>>30383012
How's that? At the very least I can put it on facebook for $5 a box and make some money
>>
>need
You're thinking about this in the wrong way, mayne. ;^)

That said, bought a case(8 ten round boxes) of Fiocchi low recoil buck for $20 simply because it was so cheap.

What branch of service is the modern-day Cavalry in terms of either:

1. Combat Role

or

2. Dash and Flair

In terms of combat role, probably Tankers for heavy cavalry and Mechanized Infantry for light cavalry.

In terms of dash, there are many, many "Cav" units still around that keep the traditions alive (i.e. the stupid Spur Rides the US Army has)
>>
>>30382829
none of the above.

let's say it's like this:

19D: doing what drones do today, except they did it in the 1980s.
tankers: doing god's work in infantry support and cross-border warfighting, except kursk will never happen again.

How many tanks do you think he btfo before he was kill?

Statistically, 0.

The Germans built 290,000 Panzerschrecks, the Allies combined lost about 20-30 thousand tanks after the introduction of the Panzerschreck.

I really like the look and design of karambit knives, I'd like one as a self defense weapon as well as for normal utility purpose. I already carry pepper spray so this would definitely be a last resort. I also checked up on local laws and they're pretty lax, so I shouldn't have trouble carrying it.

I've been looking around online, but I don't really know of any of the better manufacturers making karambits. I was looking at one made by Fox, 599 I think, but I saw a few negative reviews about wear and tear.

Just for a few parameters, i'm willing to spend up to $150 USD or so

I would like one with a high quality steel and hopefully something I wouldn't have to sharpen often

I'd also prefer something on the smaller side, so it can be more easily concealed

It doesn’t need to be folding or fixed, either is fine for me

Thanks!

At this close distance, which ship would sink the other first when they start shooting each other simultaniously?
31 posts and 9 images submitted.
>>
>>30382493
Simply based off missile speeds of the YJ-18 and 83 vs the RGM-84, the Arleigh Burke would go down first.
>>
>>30382689
>Type 054
>YJ-18

>high subsonic missiles are faster than high subsonic missiles

>minimum firing distances

Also that Burke would be firing Tomahawks or SM-2/SM-6 at the 054, it doesn't carry Harpoons.
>>
>>30382493

The Chink ship's turret wont have to traverse as much, so it would get the first shots off and can kill the Burke's turret before it can even fire.

A robot is now part of your fireteam.

What role should it be able to take on? What should it be able to do to make a fireteam perform at a higher level?

All riding it does is make you a larger silhouette.

How effective are sandbags at bullet protection?

Where is the best place to buy a lot of them?

Are they obsolete with modern weapons? Discuss.

What justifications, if any, exist in today's world for being the aggressor force in a military action? Excluding middle eastern ragheads like daesh/isis/isil or whatever the fuck. I want to know what it takes to make starting a war between two first world countries morally acceptable.
