>>31521659
What the fuck is going on there? could you possibly get a higher set up?
How do you feel about this?
Anime is shit. What show?
It's the typical garbage that comes out of japan

I'm pretty certain it is whatever plane where you are a passenger.
Is there any realistic way to counter nuclear submarines?
Quieter submarines with better sonar then the other guy.
>>31521508
Hunt them out of port with better subs.

that's a big gun
>tfw i ran into a legit mallninja today
I went to the local drug store to buy a can of coffee and the guard there was wearing, I shit you not,
>a tacvest (with nothing in any of the pockets)
>SECURITY sticker slapped on the back
>two canadian flag patches (that did not match)
>combat pants, bloused, but improperly
>combat boots, but with the laces trailing behind him
>Two (2) ASP batons AND a heavy flashlight
>another smaller, edgier flashlight clipped to his vest (even though it was 10:30 AM)
>fingerless gloves
Why are "security" people like this? Why do they think they need to cosplay as JTF2 to ask people politely to not shoplift? He didn't even have a gun
>>31521136
It's just a wannabe getting into the job. There are very few perks besides having some minor justification for getting a bunch of tac gear.
I guarantee he is making like $9 an hour. Let him have some fun you cunt.
>>31521136
Rent-a-Cops usually fall into two categories:
>lackadaisical fat-fucks who can't be bothered to stand up even for a robbery
>hungry skeletons or 300lb Chris Kyle wannabe's with dreams of being a hero who stops terrorists from killing the president in their Wal Mart
>>31521172
He was like 5'9" though. Manlets don't deserve to have fun.
>I guarantee he is making like $9 an hour.
thats below minimum wage here, so i hope so
Have any of you /k/ommandos ever been caught up in a mass shooting/massacre?
After seeing that post from a guy who almost got shot at Columbine (but was unscathed because the pistol Dylan was using was shit), I'm interested to see if anyone else here has been affected by a massacre, yet still has no qualms about firearms.
>pic semi-related
>>31521122
If I was ever in that situation, I'd either be counted among the dead or heralded as a hero. I would not simply stand by.
I've often wondered how one person could kill so many people. If they simply charged him, there would only be a few victims.
>>31521161
You've often wondered because you've never been in that position. It's really easy to say what a hero you'd be when you've never actually had to do it.
>>31521161
It's easy to say you'd be a hero when you're not in the moment. But if you were in a cafe or something and some nutjob started shooting the place up, before the reality of the situation has really kicked in inside your head, most people are either frozen with fear, shitting themselves or running for their lives. Not many people can keep cool, calm and collected when they've gone from eating some cake to watching bodies hit the floor in a matter of seconds.

Working on a weapon design for my 3d portfolio.
I'm just deciding on the Pistol now! and i'd like to know what /k/ thinks of an Arc pistol, Plasma pistol or a Gauss gun?
Honestly, I want all three and thus i'm asking you lot.
>>31520989
I'm guessing this is for a game? In which case most people prefer to use pistol as stealth weapons in which case Gauss would be too loud.
>>31520989
would it be like this or just shoot a beam of electricity?
>>31520989
arc pistol: should have two laser beams ionizing air or other atmosphere to conduct the electricity like dual over under beams a couple of inches apart huge capacitors and transformer.
plasma pistol: the only way to shoot plasma out forward is a vortex gun (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_ring_gun) if would have a fuck-huge barrel diameter which is oddly shaped for a gun. good luck sheathing it!
gauss gun: no you cucknugget! it doesn't have rails it has coil segments along the barrel, and huge capacitors and battery and it should have long thin ammunition more like darts made of lamellated steel.
Which one should I get as my first handgun? Mainly just as a fun learning gun, but maybe as my cc later on.

https://www.classicfirearms.com/beretta-9mm-semi-auto-surplus-g-vg
>>31520936
if you want to CC, the Mak by a mile. 92 is fucking huge.
That being said, 92 is a better first gun. 9mm is easy to find and isn't imported. Mags are easy to find and cheap. Higher round count. Less recoil. Only avoid if you have tiny hands cuz again they're fucking huge.
Get the mak. Turn your self into a better shooter by not getting a single action with a good trigger. Your mak will hide better for chl. Single action on them is fine. Sights will suck dack but it's otherwise a good pistol.
>>31520972
This is a great evaluation and having used bot for service or other purposes I agree with the assessment with the caveat of figure out ammunition availability and cost average for your area as that can be important
Ghost in the Shell portrays the UN as a bunch of barely functioning retards who fight like children. Is this true? Do countries provide their lowest caliber fighters for UN duty?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXdr4gWkOc8
>>31520832
Look at the countries that supply the majority of UN troops, it will answer your question.
>>31520832
yep crooks and tards.
mostly issued cold war era trash and bound by ROE which restricts them to foul language.
also did india just pick the worst parts of a FAL and combine them with the worst parts of an AK when they built the INSAS?
Most competent armies (of which there are relatively few in the world) wouldn't put their forces under UN control, and the money the UN pays for peacekeepers is only an incentive to the poorer countries.
Here is a list of peacekeepers ranked by numbers contributed. The highest contributing "first world" military at the moment is at 25th place (Italy, and the quality of Italian troops is up for debate)

What are some good targets to shoot at? I've been watching Hickok's videos an now I want some of those steel silhouettes he has and like the gongs and whatever pic related is.
I just want something that's fun to shoot. All I have around here is shit like empty cans and paper plates.
I bought one of those rubber self sealing targets that's supposed to spin but it feels like most of my rounds just go through without actually spinning it, and it's not really that interesting to shoot at.
Things that spin and flip around and makes noise seem fun. What are some good models to get, how much do they costs and where should I get them from?
How long do they last?
>What are some good targets to shoot at?
tax collectors
[note to police; this is a joke and I do not endorse or condone shooting at tax collectors pls don't kill my dog]
>>31520717
Arntzen targets is what Hickock uses.
Shootsteel is also reputable.
I have a few 3d self healing rubber targets, I have them suspended with string from low hanging branches they're alot more fun that way.
Also Academy now sells an AR500 9" steel gong with stand and hardware for $100. I got a couple of those bc they're 1 step, simple. They also sell steel for handgun and rimfire at Academy.
