Is the 1911 a bad weapon? My grandfather was in the Korean War, and that was his weapon. His friend asked him what he would do with it if a gun fight broke out, and he said he would toss it aside and scan the ground for a better weapon.
Your grandpa sounds like an insufferable faggot
>>31525379
Pistols are for fighting your way to the rifle you never should have put down, so hes pretty much right. You don't enter a gunfight with a handgun, you exit it with one.
Not OP here.
Do any of you CC one and if so how do you do it?
I mean things like clock position in relation to your body, holster stuff along those lines. thanks to any replies.
Which state has objectively the best gun laws?
>>31525323
Alaska
>>31525338
This. Arizonans will chime in, and they have it good, but the rez, and some shitty campus carry laws really drag it down.
>Inb4 some retard says Texas, I'm a Texan, it sucks here.
Arizona, Nevada, Alaska, not in that order.
I'm from Maryland, and I'm living in California, and moving to Colorado soon. Colorado seems pretty nice compared to those other two states
>design DMR in glorious real fucking 8x57 IS

Dem export shekels.

What do you do with it?

>Yemeni forces have targeted and destroyed an Emirati military vessel in a rocket attack near the Red Sea port city of Mokha, al-Masirah TV says. The C-802 is the export upgraded version of the Chinese anti-ship missile YJ-8 (Chinese: 鹰击-8, literally "Eagle Strike"; NATO reporting name: CSS-N-8 Saccade).
>The ship is a wave-piercing, aluminum-hulled, commercial catamaran with military enhancements, such as a helicopter flight deck, vehicle deck, small boat and unmanned vehicle launch and recovery capability, and a communications suite. While from the front the vessel looks like a trimaran, the center hull does not rest in the water and is not used for buoyancy. Propulsion is provided by directional water jets, so the ship does not have propellers or a rudder for steering, and can maneuver in twelve feet of water.
>As of July 2015 the vessel is reported to be operated by the UAE's National Marine Dredging Company. The United Arab Emirates are part of the ongoing Saudi-led War in Yemen.

>HSV-2 Swift is a hybrid catamaran originally leased by the United States Navy as a mine countermeasures and sea basing test platform. She was privately owned and operated by Sealift Inc. and previously chartered to the United States Navy Military Sealift Command. She was primarily used for fleet support and humanitarian partnership missions. As of 2015, the ship was reported to have been operated by the UAE's National Marine Dredging Company. On 30 September 2016 the ship was reportedly sunk off Yemen.[1]

This is how we managed to imbed a virus into their uranium enrichment facilities that over revved their centrifuges, cracked the rotors and scrambled the software.
Effectively shut them down for almost a year. God knows what other viruses were bundled in there...
P64 vs. P83
Looking to add another surplus gun to my collection and would like to get something in 9x18. I can get a P64 or P83 for around $210 +/- $20.
I'm leading to the P64, since I'm not a fan of the blocky highpoint look of the P83. However, I do know the double action on the P64 is horrible. What would you guys recommend?
>>31524770
Monitoring for this is my exact dilemma.
>>31524770
The P83 is much more pleasant to shoot, the P64 is better as a concealed carry gun.
Of course I ended up buying both because I couldn't decide.
Is a P83 in .380 a thing?

Why do Chinese movies have that shitty color grading technique that makes everything look like it has a smooth CG sheen over it?
>>31524715
Their film industry still hasn;t figured out how lighting works so they just slap a filter on everything which either makes their film a grey brown or a bright yellow depending on if its a "somber drama" or an "exciting action" film.
Post your favorite gun that you own.
Not the most expensive, not the rarest, not the best. Your favorite, the one you like the most.
Not one from every category, not "I couldn't decide so here's three," just one.
I like my PS90. It's handy.
here's my edc.
its pricey and hard to find.

Anyone down for a Missouri meetup?
Maybe make it a regular biweekly thing?
I found a pretty good range, it's small but public, free, no ROs and a good amount of lanes. It's sort of between STL and Columbia but closer to STL than Columbia if that makes sense?
Was just there during a weekday and had the place all to myself.
Midwest Nuggetfest is going to be happening in mid-november.
Personally, I'm in kirksville during the school year and halfway between St.Joseph and KC on breaks
>>31525108
I know about nuggetfest. I'll be there.
This can be a nice pre-lude. And a regular thing after the fest is over.
>>31526344
I'm down. Info on the range anon.
Was that a thing?

Generally watches are used to tell time.
Operational operators clip them to gear so they don't misplace them. Was not uncommon to see a watch or GPS clipped to MOLLE on body armor inna deployment.
>>31524132
We used to hook shit on our uniforms in Airborne units so they wouldn't interfere with our jump equipment. This guy is a leg so I'm not sure why he would have his time piece positioned like that. Wannabe perhaps?
>>31524132
That's the watch he sticks up his ass after he becomes a POW, then has Christopher Walken stick it up his ass after he dies, so CW can pass it on to his kid, Bruce Willis. It's the most important device in the universe, the special nigger-killing watch.
