Sup /k/, I have got a revolver and kind of problem with it. A spring (number 27 at picture), which moves the click, was broken. The mechanism is working normally, but click is hanging out while the drum inserted. I afraid of reliability weakness now. Can I use this gun with this defect?

Schmitt-Rubin and K31 family are the only ones worth mentioning. Get one of those surplus, or a Mauser action. I personally prefer the Enfield, but for most uses, the Mauser would get you farther.

I have a German K98k carbine. I've fired a lot of rounds through it, and after y ears it has developed this black gunk between the rifling. Gun shop told me it's fucking perfectly fine. I'd like to get that shit out, and I can't find ouut anything about this shit. I used M-pro 7 several times last night. pics related

How hard would it be to make a modern Ithaca 37 capable of (intentional) slam-firing?
I know it has a trigger disconnect that prevents it from slam-firing, but I want to know if I simply have to remove that to get it to work how I want, or if the trigger disconnect serves some other critical function that prevents me from doing that without fucking up the gun in some other way.

I have a gerber gator jr, harbor freight machete, & a 10" old timer bowie knife I picked up for $10. I'm not too happy with them any one in particular. I want something beefier that I can use to chop rather then slice.
