Seems India's on the prowl for a new single engine fighter to place hundreds of MiG-21/27s, to be built in India.
Seems like only Lockheed Martin and Saab are the only contenders with the F-16 and Saab.
Which one?

F-16s
Cheap as fuck, and spare parts are literally everywhere.
The HAL Tejas if they're smart.
Its made to work on a carrier, which is something they want.
Hey guys I am a big fucking pussy and I don't think I should own a gun because I don't think I could ever "shoot to kill" someone even if they broke into my house. I would hesitate. If I had a non-lethal weapon I know I would never hesitate. I know that sounds fucking stupid but I know myself well enough to know what would happen.
What are some of the best non-lethal projectiles I can use that are on the market? Tasers and pepper spray guns are alright but I want something that will pack more of a punch.
shotgun with 12ga beanbag rounds
>>31876874
We are the easiest board to troll...
ARMA sells a kit bean bag gun. Not the best choice, but not altogether bad. You'll have to train with it, because you have to fire it underhand, and you only get one shot. Might save your life. You can use it like a club afterward.
Poorfag here just bought a ATI 1911 cause i saw an anon had it and he said it was good, bought just saw the poorfag guide and was wondering if i fucked up by not getting a RIA 1911?

Does anybody have the ban state legal hex mags? If I bought some and then moved to a free state could I just remove the spacer and install a standard length spring and have a functional standard capacity mag?
>hexmag
Just throw it in the trash
>>31876350
just sell the fuckers before you leave and buy some in nevada on your way out
>>31876390
Is there a brand that this would work with, then?
>>31876418
I don't live in CA, Nevada is on the other side of the country from me. I have a state line I can cross and get mags already, but the local shops are overpriced.
Right now I have to order mags and have them shipped to a friends house, I just want to ship them direct to myself.
I live in MD, possession of standard mags is not banned. You just can't buy or build them inside the state.

Left handed
I've already tried putting different amounts of trigger finger in the trigger.
NRA instructor I spoke with in passing said I might be squeezing fingers?
Any suggestions on how to not shoot to the left?
I'm about to drop $120 on a private lesson otherwise.
>>31876113
>dropping $120 on a private lesson just to get told to move your finger differently
Practice, practice, practice. Save that money and buy more ammo.
>>31876138
Ugh.. I've done that, not getting any better.
>>31876146
Then practice the right way? It's about muscle memory. Practice the right way and forget about hitting left. Go in all zen and shit and just shoot.
>All these Generals
>No Handgun general
Fuck it. Handgun General.
Post handguns. Fight over handguns and handgun calibers. Complain about handguns.
Also some questions
>Why is there a SIG vs. CZ rivalry?
>Is 40 really as bad as the 9mm fanboys say it is?
>Carrying FMJ: Plebs trying to justify being cheap/poor or enlightened individuals who know it doesn't matter??
>Is X as bad as Y fanboys say it is?
The answer is almost always no. That said, I don't like .40. The recoil is just too snappy for me. 9mm feels light and .45 feels firm but neither seem to cause the muzzle flip .40 does.
Just my opinion.
>>31875825
What are you shooting it out of, though?
I own two .40s. Both Metal frames, both hammer fired, one actually a steel frame(4006).
I don't feel the snap.
I am looking for a decent bolt action .308 or something similar. I want to make a nice quiet hunting rifle or fun gun. Any other suggestions very welcome.

No bitch, not without a suppressor. Get anything with a 20+ inch barrel, longer the better. It's hard to get a bad gun these days but Howa/Weatherby Vanguard are probably the best bang for the buck.
Sup lads, so I made the wonderful choice of signing my life away to the Canadian Forces. Online forums for the CF seem to be full of supply techs and other goofy cunts that take solace that kids and folks looking to join read their posts like the words of god. That being said, I can't find the answers I'm looking for. That being said, what's the biggest fuck up I can make post basic/trade training. I know buying a car I can't afford is #1 on that list, but aside from that, what should I be weary of? 22, 2.2k debt, long term relationship.
Getting married before any deployment unless you enjoy havimg Jodie fuck your wife.

Don't be a fucking idiot. You're taking on a job in which you are likely to be shuffled around over great distances, possibly overseas, and possibly to do some real nigga shit. Avoid any longstanding attachments (marriage, kids, buying a home). Take the next 4-6 years (however long you maplebacks serve for), and just sit down, shut up, and save your dosh. If the queen will pay for school, do that shit in your free time. Keep out of trouble, because the military has a habit of laying the shit on thick.
>>31875475
It's wary
and most of the army stories you hear are Americans army, which is of lower quality than the Canadian one, on account of it being composed of Americans.
>>31876539
We've got like 18 guys (or 2000, whatever) guys total overseas right now, your likelihood of getting posted is low.
Possibility of getting bounced around the country exists.
Crown don't pay for school anywhere close to fully.
So yeah, nothin'. You hear horror stories from the US because that places is a horror show.

Personal favorite so far has been Outlaw Platoon, it was pretty brutal and raw which is a writing style I like.
Hogs in the Shadows was pretty good, but the author's writing style was pretty basic. Kinda annoying to read at times even if the content/stories were solid

A 20 kiloton nuke is dropped on the german front-line trenches in fall of 1916 in response to the pathetic "success" the Somme offensive had given the allies.
The allied soldiers are told to hunker down in the securest part of their trenches, cover themselves in mud, and close and cover their eyes at exactly 8:30 AM Belgium time on November the 2nd 1916.
Do the germans get scared enough to call it quits?
Will the allies be okay or will they get BTFO by the blast-radius as well?
>>31875194
Also, ground burst not airburst
>>31875194
There was no bomber aircraft in WW1 large enough to deliver a 20 kiloton nuke.

Sup /k/ first I just wanna say congratulations to Trump for winning the 2016 elections.
I bought this ammo for my Maverick 88. It will be the first thing I shoot. How did I do /k/? Will use this for home defense as well as 00 buckshot. Also looking at buying this ammo from the internet. Thoughts?

>slugs for home defense
It's like you hate your neighbors or something. Fiocchi slugs are alright.
00 buckshot is the classic option, but not the best you can do.
#1 buckshot is currently the best thing going, Winchester segmented slugs are also great. Both stay within FBI guidelines for not overpenetrating while creating a very large wound cavity.
>>31874853
Hillary will still win sadly. Look at where the electoral votes are and who is ahead in those states.
As far as the ammo goes, either that or the 00 is fine, just please don't load one slug one 00 buck. Stick with a single type of load. If you really want a slug and some buckshot there are rounds loaded with both available.
