How the hell did we beat these guys?

Superior strategy, organization, logistics, manufacturing and, as it turns out, technology, too.
Good always triumphs over evil eventually.
>>32198167
We (America) didn't, the Russians did.
1000rpm, why?

Ppsh heck of a light machinegun
Why not?
>>32197175
because the guy that made it thought one day "i vonder if geegantic faggot of homosex will complain of bullets per meenyut"
Goddamnit, I got drunk as fuck last night and woke up to this... I was fucking around and must have ND'd into the wall. I'm guessing if no one heard by now I'm safe right?
>>32197135
Do you live in an apartment, condo or townhouse?
Single family home? How close is the nearest neighbor? Is this aimed toward any neighbors homes?
Also, stop drinking, you seriously have a problem if you don't remember this.
>>32197135
Probably, don't play with guns desu.
>>32197135
pretty much this>>32197145
the type of dwelling you occupy and the proximity to neighbors makes a big difference, I used to be able to pop deer in my backyard until the vacant lot next to my house got a house put on it, then the neighbors were too close for anything bigger than .22
What's /k/'s opinion on Jeff Cooper and his scout rifle concept? Useful? Useless?
I personally think it's pretty neat and has some real merit for special forces or if SHTF, curious to get your guys opinions.
>>32197085
I prefer the AWP
>>32197085
Pretty cool, Cooper laid alot of the groundwork for todays modern doctrine, although his scout rifle didn't really take off in the military, it's still a useful rifle in the right situation.
>>32197085
There's no reason for a "scout" to carry a bolt action over an automatic weapon in modern armies.

>claims Bren was better because it had a slower rate of fire therefore better accuracy.
>claims Bren was used after WW2 when mg42 wasn't
>bases his argument that since WW2 was won by the allies the Bren was obviously better
Why is the faggot still taken seriously anyone brits are fucking retarded.

Youtubers, who'd have thunk?
It wouldn't matter if autists like yourself didn't keep giving this psuedoacademic noguns bullshitter attention. Like a wise Cuban-canadian once said, if you let your enemies make you Reeee, they win.
>>32197026
Let me give you some advice, OP.
You'd already decided he was wrong about everything within the first minute of the video, before he'd even said much.
Maybe some parts had bad arguments, but maybe some had good ones that are potentially interesting.
Instead of listening to different opinions, taking interest in hearing from a different point of view, and considering yourself to be better for the experience,
you threw a fit like a child because you perceive that someone disagrees with you, and perceive this as a threat to your ego.
You were then motivated to lash out at a guy on the internet, and rally a bandwagon to reinforce your fragile ego.
These are facts.
You will never ever improve as a person until you can learn to deal with stuff like this.
You will be far less happy with your life if you fail to do this.
Bye.
What's the deal with these EAA guns? They're really inexpensive compared to anything else I've seen and they have good reviews. Why aren't these shilled like crazy instead of makarov's and cz75's?
I have a few eaa guns. One just like your pic and a 10mm match. The match can't handle the 10mm loads but the 9mm is on point.
I love eaa tanfoglio
>>32197207
Surely there is a decrease in quality/reliability/durability compared to a CZ 75, right?

What's the pistol on the far right?
If North Korea ever decided to go full retard and attack the south, would it even be a fight or would their attack be complete botched by mass defection and obsolete equipment?
>>32195220
We shouldn't help the South. They're a bunch of free loaders that don't have to do shit. Why should we die for a country that doesn't like us?
It's hard to find information on the North Korean military, for obvious reasons.
If I had to guess, I'd say that their artillery would cause tens of thousands of civilian fatalities in South Korea, but they'd get rekt fairly quickly by allied air power, and their own inability to support large fleets of motor vehicles.
China is as likely as not to push south across the Yalu in an effort to preempt the Americans and get their own piece of the pie.
>>32195244
Yeah I kind of figured that. People keep telling me that China would back up Best Korea but I think they're full of shit. Anytime you see China reacting to N Korea's little stunts, they always seem like they're embarrased to be 'allies' with them.
Its a fairly stylish sword, and since its so popular you can get a functional katana for cheep compared to other sword types.
Not saying its the best sword ever, not saying it can cut everything. But I do see the appeal of these things.
Ive heard before that Katanas are not good at fighting other swords, but are better at fighting non-sword armed opponents, like spears. is that true?
>since its so popular you can get a functional katana for cheep compared to other sword types
That's not even remotely accurate. Sure you can buy mallninja shit from flea markets made of aluminum, but you arent going to find an actual functional katana that wont break immediately for less than 1k...more likely much more.
>>32195909
not true you can get a fully functional monosteel sword for around $200 which is properly differentially hardened, it will stand up to a shitload of cutting. but you can also get a decent euro sword for about $300 and considering you won't actually do anything with it other than cut bamboo or water bottles it really doesn't matter tthat much
>>32195909
Cold Steel has an Emperor Series that they claim to be authentic for $879.00.
I can vouch for the shit-tier craftsmanship of the average flea market or Chinatown shop katana. Oranges killed my $50.00 display sword.
Let's get one of these started. All of the following jobs are authorized to post ITT:
Military
Police
EMS
Security Guards (Mall ninja stories encouraged)
Armored Car Guards
Corrections Officers
Gun Salesman
Range Officers (Retarded Fudd stories encouraged)
And other miscellaneous /k/ jobs.
I'll start by asking a question. I'm looking to do Corrections but hear from guy's I know who do it that it sucks but isn't not any worse than other jobs. I also hear it's got a higher chance of being injured but not killed than LEO's. I have no interest in being a LEO right now and the pay where I am is about the same. Will I do fine in Corrections? Physical standards seem pretty easy and I have a BA. It's basically just babysitting inmates right?
Jail or prison? Jail is going to have lots of people who don't know their fate yet and are anxious and unused to life there. And several will be detoxing off drugs and booze. In prison most people have gotten used to that life a bit and are sober. But they have little left to lose in some cases.
Both feature people throwing bodily fluids at you but I don't hear of a ton of staff assaults as far as fighting where I live anyway.
Corrections has terrible turnover and as a result hires a lot of less than sought after people.
>>32194686
Fireman here can I join this thread?
>>32195079
My current job has high AF turnover too. I expect to work with similar people.
I was applying for work at a Prison not county jail. Don't care much about bodily fluids so long as I don't contract anything.
>>32195154
Do you have any fun stories?
why do people pay so much for a non-sub moa rifle?

look at the x95. what a shame.
Why do people pay for cars that can't haul firewood?

Cuz I do what I want and it's a sweet ass rifle. Only fun I've fired I enjoyed more was an mg3 but feeding that thing would not be fun.

Would you care if little Jorge or Jamal ate a round while your team managed to secure a route that will lead to 100 less deaths?
Jorge and Jamal barely had a life to begin with and if they weren't in the military they would have died in "The Streets" over whatever dumb shit their kind gets in fights over.
>>32193237
>can people who can experience traumatic events get a disorder resulting from traumatic events?
Gee, got me there bud.
Is it normal to play with your guns? Every once in a while I take my Hi Power or Glock out and just rack the slide, run some dummy rounds through it, make sure it feeds well, but also just for fun. Provided you follow basic safety protocols (making sure the chamber and mag are clear before you do anything) is it weird to do this? Part of the reason I do this is because the Hi Power has a 32lb slide and I want to practice the best technique for racking it quickly, but I kind of fear my roomates are going to hear all this noise and think I'm some sort of psycho.
>>32192723
It's not weird at all. I like to rub my dick in the magwell and suck on the barrel like I'm a good fuckboi.
>>32192723
Yeah it's fucking weird. Nobody does that shit, the only time I touch my guns is when I go to the range. Calm it the fuck down.
>>32192723
Everyone plays with their guns. Just do it safely of course. Try not to break it though like Chris did with his pico:

Are you ready, /k/illers? For non-stop destabilized nations and refugee camps ripe for a firefight?
>Climate change is set to cause a refugee crisis of "unimaginable scale," according to senior military figures, who warn that global warming is the greatest security threat of the 21st century and that mass migration will become the "new normal." The generals said the impacts of climate change were already factors in the conflicts driving a current crisis of migration into Europe, having been linked to the Arab Spring, the war in Syria and the Boko Haram terrorist insurgency. Military leaders have long warned that global warming could multiply and accelerate security threats around the world by provoking conflicts and migration. They are now warning that immediate action is required. "Climate change is the greatest security threat of the 21st century," said Maj Gen Munir Muniruzzaman, chairman of the Global Military Advisory Council on climate change and a former military adviser to the president of Bangladesh. He said one metre of sea level rise will flood 20% of his nation. "We are going to see refugee problems on an unimaginable scale, potentially above 30 million people." Brig Gen Stephen Cheney, a member of the US Department of State’s foreign affairs policy board and CEO of the American Security Project, said: “Climate change could lead to a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions. We’re already seeing migration of large numbers of people around the world because of food scarcity, water insecurity and extreme weather, and this is set to become the new normal.
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/dec/01/climate-change-trigger-unimaginable-refugee-crisis-senior-military
>R Adm Neil Morisetti, a former commander of the UK maritime forces and the UK’s climate and energy security envoy, said: “Climate change is a strategic security threat that sits alongside others like terrorism and state-on-state conflict, but it also interacts with these threats. It is complex and challenging; this is not a concern for tomorrow, the impacts are playing out today.”
>Morisetti said climate change would mean the UK military will be deployed more often to conflict and disaster zones. The military leaders were speaking ahead of an event in London on Thursday.
DEPLOYED MORE OFTEN. Hell holes, everywhere. Eventually, looser RoEs.
Melt Antarctica. Sink the coasties.

And then they flood everywhere else. Good job. At least build a wall around the low lying areas first.
