Hurricane Rita. Rode my bike on the interstate and shot the shit with NGs pulling security the whole week power was out. Had a generator already so day after the storm I was playing San Andreas forced to eat the game meat that would go bad in our freezer.

New England October snow storm 2012. Went without power for two weeks. Couldn't even really go anywhere for a week either unless you walked since most of the roads were blocked and cleanup was a bitch.

It was pretty kick ass. I just mostly stayed inside with my GF and we fucked like animals. Friend's would come over and bring food and booze I had a gas stove too so I could still cook food. I rate the experience a 9/10, would go without power in a well stocked home again. Especially since I'm a hasguns now cuz I'll hunt birds and squirrels n shit and when that gets boring I'll go fishing.
