Tell me aviation the CETME L. I've really been looking into one, I can get a full parts kit with receiver blank and barrel, plus a bending jig for around $925 before shipping.
I've been really wanting a 5.56 rifle, and the CETME had really interested me in particular, alongside the more traditional "practical" choices like the AR-15 and the Galil.
How hard are they to build? Are they actually good guns? Can I paint up my blank receiver to be the right color as an original CETME easily?

Tell me about. Sorry, autocorrect. It's been a long night.

Do you know how to weld, or have a tig welder?
If so are your skills any good?
I've dabbled with the hk91 but if you've never built anything that requires cylindrical welds or welds in general this probably isn't something you want to take on.
>>32183795
Honestly I've never built any guns before. I didn't realize this needed welding, I thought you just bent the receiver to the right shape and bolted it all together.
My uncle can weld. Maybe I can get him to help me, he used to work in a motorcycle repair shop.

I don't get it. Why would he ban a western gun?
I could sort understand the AK ban, considering the cold war.
So /k/ if a second American Civil War were to happen, what would be the cause, and why? What are the fronts? Whose backing who? Which death squad has the higher kill count, right wing or left wing?

Urban vs rural
Political and cultural differences
Before last year I didn't think we would see a second civil war, but with just how -ugly- shit is getting lately politics wise, I give us 50 years unless we get a president that can unite us and a media that can take a pill and relax instead of winding people up to the point where we're actually attacking people for their political beliefs.
do it
It's like a more powerful, albeit much harder to get, 12 gauge
>>32183076
It's too much. Impractical and doesn't serve any real benefits over the 12g
>10ga
Obsolete now that 3.5" 12ga shells exist. Expensive as hell and hard to acquire. Avoid.
What kind of A/K/ should I buy?

First post best post
If you need one RIGHT NOW Atlantic has Zastava N-PAP rifles for ~700$ and those are decent.
I advise waiting on the hope that Trump loosens Russian firearm import restrictions and quality affordable AKs will be a thing again. The American made ones are largely terrible.
Regardless of how common the round is, what is the best round that I can re-chamber a 9mm in without losing significant capacity? (Like if it goes from 19 to 17 I wouldn't be too peeved, but if it was like 20 down to 14 there'd be an issue). I don't care if it's a wildcat I just wanna see what options I've got. Is it a possibility to actually improve energy on target per magazine?
Pic related is why I'm wondering.

Post your new gats ladies and gents! Just picked up this Colt Police Positive Special tonight. Neat gun, nice wood grips, gonna get some ammo and test it tomorrow.
I picked up a wood-gripper not that long ago. It's a Ruger New Model Single Six .22 with a WMR cylinder (the one in the photo with a bit of rust on it). I'll clean that up and try it out eventually.
Wood grips have a certain warmth to them; I appreciate it.
My most recent was this 1950 Winchester 1894

/k/ I need boot recommendations for work. They must be black, waterproof, durable as fuck, and ideally non-slip. I've got a pair of swat boots right now, and they're not the quality the brand once was, so I come to you for help.

I wonder if the stainless steel alloy body is friction welded to the aluminum head?
Will we see cheaper ammo from L-tech than the competition?
How long until every other MFGR makes a two-piece case product? (patent expir.?)
That looks expensive.
