If you were really out in the thicket I doubt you'd have the reception to post that.

A true /k/ommando would move to the US, or join the British military.
Does anyone else here like to get high and go hunting? A lot of normies are critical of my preferred past time, but I find it relaxing. Plus there is nothing better than killing two birds when one's stoned.

Jokes on you, only had one ND.
what are some good historical example of quantity overcoming quality in warfare?

Quantity beating quality is more of the norm than the exception for most of history.

I have ADHD and think the structure of the military is what I need. I've been off medication for about a year because I don't like it and am sure that I should just avoid talking about it with a recruiter.
Any advice?
ask your local recruiter you dumb faggot holy shit can't it be so simple?
Don't tell anyone you have it or have ever been medicated.
You have never had adhd
You have never been medicated
You have never taken an asprin
>>32177257
You're unfit for military service. We do not need you, we do not want you. A slightly defective screeching hyperenergetic fag is no use to anyone. Tell the doc at MEPS you're a fucking spazz so nobody with a job that matters end up having to babysit you while you grin like a retard and look around the staff office with crazy eyes and giggle in boot camp.
If you have all that built up energy, fly to LA and be a fluffer. You'll make more.
Why don't tanks have 152mm smoothbore guns?
Because they don't need them.

Will we see Germany release parts kits of the G36 variant rifles when they are replaced?
>>32177177
I hope but it is doubtful. Wealthy countries tend to completely destroy their shit.
>>32177184
It's a shame. I'd really love to tinker with a surplus G36 or FAMAS. Maybe Trump will make trade deals in favour of us being that he supports the 2nd?
>>32177199
None of this shit will happen, ever.
You can find G36 parts kits on hkparts.net.
You can wait for one of the couple hundred FAMAS G2's in the US to go up for auction and buy it.
Calling all Buckeyes, Bobcats, Bearcats, and other inhabitants of the great state of Ohio: there's a Campus Carry bill in the state legislature RIGHT NOW, and it needs your help. Right now, it allows schools to opt-out (technically, schools have to opt-in). Contact your local rep and ask them to amend the bill to make it MANDATORY. Call them-- calls are the most effective means, because they can't just send back a form letter. They HAVE to listen to a phone call.
Campus Carry in Ohio depends ON YOU.

Been thinking of starting to get into producing arms here in AUS, once the proper licensing comes through of course. Just stupid simple cheap shit that would have an appeal here for legal loopholing reasons.
Example:
>Sten-13 Mini Pistol Carbine
>'Pistol' with short Sten-style 'tube gun' appearance and short blowback action. Could be used as traditional for a pistol, wouldn't be very comfortable nor intuitive though.
>So-called 'Mini' because it ships with wireframe stock, and barrel shroud with vertical grip detached from gun
>To retain pistol classification and thus not be a Category D centrefire rifle, stock and shroud are attached by user in a non-permanent manner, such as a pair of bolts for the stock and 4-5 for shroud with pre-drilled holes to ease alignment of parts
>To maximize sight radius, rear sight is literally at the back of gun housing. Simple squared-off notch design with a raised post at end of barrel, to allow use without front shroud if desired. When front post completely fills rear sight and is level with top of notch cut into rear sight, sights are properly aligned.
>Available in multiple calibers/drop-in barrels. Due to simplicity and robust structure, could possibly handle more powerful loads like 10mm
>Aftermarket parts for 'luxury' items, such as adapters for magazines of each caliber to install in oversized magwell (Shipped with 9mm or .22 adapter attached as standard); wooden furniture, or rail mounts designed to fasten on side dovetail
>Would run for reasonable price. DEFINITELY wouldn't look fancy, but offers a very affordable and versatile carbine with possibility for extensive proprietary aftermarket
Dump your ideas here, be realistic. Chechen-tier garage gear preferable.
>>32177074
Forgot to add, '13' in name stands for 13" barrel.
Currently I'm looking to make an ak101 out of a bulgy 74 kit. Does that count?
Fellow Aufag here - I see some potential here *curiosity bump*.
Alright /k/, I need some .223/5.56 ammo and my budget is tight. I was looking at Tulammo because you can get 400rds for $100. But I know cheap ammo can be more trouble then its worth. And Ive heard horror stories about what Tulammo does to US guns.
So what say you guys? Tulammo or no? If no, any suggestions on a better brand thats relatively close in price?

How do fighter pilots handle flying for such a long time they have to aerial refuel? How long is that, 10 hours and more? That's 10 hours forced in the exact same position in full body equipment.
>>32176855
>the didn't volunteer precisely for this
Fighter sorties are almost never that long (10hrs), but bomber support aircraft sorties can be.
How do pilots deal with long duration flights? Amphetamines and diapers.
>>32176901
That should be 'bombers AND support'
How can /k/ even compete? https://youtu.be/_fTC_Ud_k3U
>>32176777
I wonder is there's a way to hook this up to a laser for dat dank laser induced plasma channel
It's cool
It needs some form of marker for it to jump to, to increase the range
Also needs dem amps pumped up to kill

This shit is the worst kind of meme. Totally useless against bio targets.
However, I suppose that with the rise of drones that this kind of thing could become a viable counter. But even now all our shit is properly grounded and ESD hardened. So I doubt that would even matter.
I've been dreaming of recreating the U.S. Civil Defense as a non-profit entity. One that would provide oversight, supplies, training, and education to civilians while rostering them into support roles for the possible future of a post-attack country. With mutual cooperation with established groups such as militias, volunteer firefighters, private pilots, and workers unions.
I know we still have TACDA but I don't think they do jack shit anymore but sell supplies (their 2008 revenue was only ~$155,000).
You guys think it's possible to maintain an active non-profit funded by public and private funds? I have more ideas for the CD but would it even be worth it?
>>32176737
>You guys think it's possible to maintain an active non-profit funded by public and private funds? I have more ideas for the CD but would it even be worth it?
Public funds? No
Private funds, maybe.
The hardest part would be preventing your organization from becoming a cringe-worthy over-political militia.
>>32176814
Sadly this. Having a preparedness organization that focuses on training, networking, and serving the community good without degenerating into a political or social gossip shit show is extremely difficult. Look at how fucked the Boy Scouts can get with this in mind. They are beating the spread for this kind of idea.
>>32176875
>>32176814
Any way to counter this?
/k/, what's the legality of a fully automated (not fully automatic) sentry gun? The software and hardware exist to detect motion, direct a gun towards that motion, and fire it. Here's the project site:
http://projectsentrygun.rudolphlabs.com/
What's the legality of this with a firearm? It's possible to remote-fire a rifle, but they work mechanically, not electrically, so some sort of device would need to be made to convert a servo's motion to a trigger pull, right?
I assume that the ATF's rule of one bullet per trigger action still applies, so would it need to be manually fired? Would it be legal to fire it remotely, say using a computer behind cover with the gun in the open?
For clarification, I do not plan to create this regardless of legal possibility nor do I think it would be a good idea to. A gun that fires at all motion without the ability to identify friendlies is a shitty idea, and might kill the creator. I just want to know if it would be legal, or what modifications would need to be made/loopholes would need to be found to make it legal.
>>32176705
Its illegal to set traps and this would be considered one
Illegal to trigger a firearm electronically
>>32176705
Very illegal
